- This is a quick video to show what a Stihl MS441CM sounds like at idle and revving when running properly, after a successful M-Tronic reset.
This saw just had a new fuel solenoid (green) and carb kit put in.
All Stihl M-Tronic saws should have the same great rev pickup like this one!
Enjoy! - Навчання та стиль
VROOM VROOM, I appreciate a good 2-cycle to wake me up in the morning, you smell that? Its called freedom baby woohoo!
Oh yeah!!!
Great video sharing
I have enjoyed your Stihl MS 441 series. I would like to see how you installed/fit the 461 P&C into the 441. Thank you, I enjoy all of your content and your channel.
I recall it took minor shaving to the outside of the cylinder to clear the sides of the casing.
Thanks Dave
Cheers Michael!
Questionfor you Dave: I have a Poulan 295 pro chainsaw, that is extremely hard to pull start when the spark plug is in (when there’s compression). If I remove the plug it pulls just fine so it’s not the flywheel or pull spring and it has no valves to adjust. I removed the muffler and the piston is very clean and smooth, it’s just when there’s compression it won’t pull. When I hold it in place with my foot and pull, it’s so tight my foot starts coming off the ground before I’ve completely pulled the cord out.
Next I checked if it was too full of gas/oil so I removed the gas and oil, then the carberator and I still get resistance when I turn the piston. I noticed when the plug is out and I turn the flywheel by hand I still get some resistance and pretty much in the same place, like 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock (assuming 12 is where the piston is fully extended. Any ideas?
Hmm. Did it always do this? Is this a new symptom? Do you have the correct spark plug in?
@@DavesSmallEngines It's a 20 yo machine and hasn't run in 15 years. But functionally it's brand new. It's the right plug. I have the original and 2 others that are all the same. New ignition coil and it's getting a spark. New gas line and filter too. the only thing I know to do is break down the engine and rebuild it but I want to exhaust all options before doing that.
Hi Dave mine sounds like this but I can only start it when its hot with the throttle wide open (also smells a lot of fuel) Any ideas? Cheers for all the info
Might be an issue with the fuel solenoid. I’m doing a video now on how to replace.
Dave just heard on Chicmecanic channel that Honda is going to quit manufacturing their lawnmowers and sounds like all their lawn equipment starting September 2023. Parts will still be made and available.
Hey bud, can I feature your trucker Dashcam video on my UA-cam channel- Dashcam Education with full credits?
