Hi Steve, I just spent $1000 dollars on a DJI mini 3 drone because of you 😂 I had no idea such a little drone could take out a bait that heavy, I stuck a small stainless steel stick on hook I bought from Bunnings and tested it with a 6 ounce star sinker at home and it did it with ease. Can't wait to try it out on the 90 mile next week, you are a legend!
Hi Steve, just came back from Seaspray, caught 2 under size gummies with the drone, nothing in close with my other rod. Drone is the way to go. A bit of weed around and side drift. Where there's little gummies, there is bound to be a big one, you proved it in this video!
@SteveOutside 300 to 400 meters, I put a spool of 500 meters 50lb braid and I PR knotted that to about 150 meters of 100lb braid to fill the spool, so I have about 650 meters total. I wanted to try 500 meters but the wind started to pick up.

I tried this once on the 90milr near seaspray with the same drone. And my drone went absolutely mental above water. Has anyone else experienced any interference, causing drones to lose their minds?

Even this small one was $750 new..
That was a few years ago, so price may have come down.
Still, better than 3 or 4 grand.

Just be careful don't push home button because your drone will fy out to the oil rigs and not come back
