Ok, when I saw they "painted" over the spike traps, I realized they had like 0 time to spend on this game.
The concept and core gameplay loop of this game doesn't even sound that half-baked, they just did it *wrong*.
The fact that this game is $70 should be a crime.
Man this is just Earthfall all over again. It even has "Fall" in its title lol

I grew up playing call of duty zombies with my brother. Infinite warfare was the last I played except for playing the titanic map on the next title afterwards when I went over to his house one time. However, he died a bit after and I haven’t touched call of duty since.
I was excited for redfall and the idea of it. I think it plays like a more open zombies game. Is it the best? Not right now. But if you were a zombies player you literally ran around doing Easter eggs and using the same guns in a middle sized map. So Redfall is good in being better in that aspect. I think if they could fix the glitches and make the performance better, that this game would be really nice.
This truly is one of the games ever made.

Arkane's Austin studio made Redfall, but nevertheless they attached "from the makers of Dishonored and Prey" in their advertising

And this is now the main reason why I don't buy gams on launch because usually the "launch" turns into really just a beta. Don't really think (not the devs, the companies who sell them) these companies don't understand the concept of a finished game these days, ever since comapnies started releasing games as Early Accesses. Thing about marketing, people don't buy games for an unfinished product. They do it because they're hyped about a cool new game release. Only problem is that you can't sell a game as a full release if it's unfinished because even if you market it as an early access, it becomes dull rather quickly and people will most likely lose interest in it within the first year. Finish the games first before releasing them and then work on DLC and expand the universe you've got instead of having to finish the story while it's already being sold. It's just a huge disrespect to gamers everywhere man

it tells you all you need to know about how poorly handled this game was when stealth doesn't work and its made by devs who made multiple pretty damn good stealth games

Really what a creatively bankrupt game, the level design, world, enemies, gameplay, skill tree and lot all seem so bland and boring I can hardly believe Arcane made this
