I enjoyed Year 1 the most, especially Kola Peninsula and Amur. Yes yes yes many think those two seasons are the worst but they had the best atmosphere, best tasks (the rocket transport or the crashed plane) and I really enjoyed the difficulty! Most fun I had in the game so far! Also... snow
I agree, Amur is very atmospheric and I loved the brutal nature. I guess the numbers Saber has access to shows that lower difficulty is best for sales but honestly I think having at least one season of challenge is the way forward for everyone. And, yes, more snow. Fortunately, it has been confirmed for the Year 4 Pass...

I hated Year 1 DLC and stopped playing Snowrunner after it beeing such a strong title. More like a me-Problem, because i had no fun with maxxed out trucks going through snow and ice in slow motion. Driving was not a problem, since Snowrunner isn't that hard in itself. But i disliked the artificial "hardness" They wanted to give the game to silence the screams for "more hard" Maps and Tasks. Atmosphere of brutal Nature it great, but i just diliked the way the physics worked within these Maps/Snow/Ice. The cracking Ice was and is still fantastic of course. That was a great addition. But Year 3 is exactly what i wanted from Snowrunner. Since it is not a Sim or anything, i love SNowrunner for Offroad Trucking and simple route planning. Also having fun with friends. But not all of them are that resistant to being stuck a lot and moving in slow motion, so i lost them too to the Year 1 DLCs To me, Snowrunner just works better with these Maps that are more styled like the Vanilla Game. But this is different to people i guess. So, the lower difficulty is not a bummer for me. Thats not what i look for in Snowrunner. Thanks for the Video. I will finally get the Year 3 Pass on a sale in Summer now. Also, i needed a scandinavian slyted map for my well beeing :D I look forward to have some Snowrunner Fun now with new Calm Maps. Would also be my first time using a T300 with it. Your Video motivated me to get back to my beloved Snowrunner. Cheers.
@@ATribeCalledCars Logistics is what I miss in expeditions. At least at the beginning, maybe it gets better later? This game is extremely boring to me. If there were more logistics, it would be much more interesting. So it's a new expedition, a new start. They screwed it up.
When you need to move a convoy with your stuff from the Cosmodrome to Northern Aegis, and the developers have created a swamp pit with fragile ice near the final portal on Urska, it can be really frustrating....
@@JavaMoppel If you chose the route through the forest, sure, but there you can drive on the ice along the river. From what I remember, there is only a slight uphill climb from the ice to the village, but all you need is the help of any truck at the top... There is also a small, deep mud along the way, but you can also go around it on the right side with a little skill. The worst place that you can't avoid is the way to the western warehouse in the Cosmodrome. Moreover, logistically it is not about transporting goods long distances. But the garage is far away and any serious problem costs a lot of time... So you need to have support such as a service truck, fuel and carefully plan your equipment. Besides, I prefer fewer missions, less cargo and a longer distance. It is also a solution to repeatability.
I'm looking forward to using the pubic energy to build an impressive duck sanctuary. Even aside from that, this truly looks like a great one to me, a must buy!

Hey hey. Sadly, I have not seen an official release date but I am keeping an eye out and will make a video when it is known! I suspect June but that is as much as I know.
Season 3 is nice. Especially the Scandinavian maps with lots of snow. No real challenges though. And not to be compared with the lonely, cold, unforgiving landscapes of Kola
for me each map should have better day cycle. these maps in summer the daylight should go from as early as 4am till 10pm at leat, while the winter maps night mode should last from 3pm to 7 or even untill 8am. Driving trucks on snow at 8pm in pure daylight is not really immersive. The clock cycle should be allow to skip by two hours instead of 6. That gives you a better balance to fight brightness vs darkness during some tough missions and long distances.
Are you using mods in your gameplay videos? You have a lot of trucks that I don't, and I'm only missing like 2 trucks in the whole game, according to the wiki.
The Khan Roly Poly in one of the montages is a mod, but the rest are vanilla trucks. I purposefully tried to show the trucks in each expansion so you get a better idea.

I'm just letting everybody know there's a missed a Boss mod that's got the Freightliner on it investment game of I have to uninstall it and reinstall it hopefully all my other stuff that comes back and it don't mess anything else up his mother downloaded today it froze my game if you're out there Mr Boss you need to fix your mistake it ain't work on something else on my Xbox One s the game still runner I had downloaded get saved games other stuff saved and your mod f***** it up

Saber should includ a map that can challenge Amur in beauty and difficulty. And they should include more snow maps now for a game called "SnowRunner".

Year 3 brings a lot super heavy truck. I haven't play Amur yet. I am kin to bring those trucks to Amur.
They should make life a little easier though space can be an issue on some paths and in some forests!
