My favorite DLC we’ve had is the Don Region I may be the only one to say but it came at a bright time in my life when I really wasn’t playing video games I was working on myself and I spent the thanksgiving break reaping the benefits of a dopeamine detox in trucking heaven. Maine and Wisconsin are great, I didn’t ever wrap my head around the routes in the second map in Maine and got bored of trying to, Wisconsin I finished and enjoyed, Imandra was my first DLC I played through and the Plane mission was memorable even two years later, only season I didn’t really care for was Tennessee, it was a huge disappointment as someone from north Alabama, I figured it’d be delivering material in the smoky mountains with a gatlinburg themed town but what we got was just a waste of potential.

Imandra and Amur killed my enjoyment of the game after 100% completing the 3 base game regions, so I shelved the game for a good few months. I bought the Year 2 pass on sale there in November and I spent another 100 hours in the game, so I gotta say the Year 2 maps were a lot more fun for me, especially that season 6 one where you have to open up the garage and all its bits and pieces. Oddly enough I found myself using a lot of the base game trucks in Year 2, like Voron Grad and some of the very first offroad trucks from Michigan
Amur is AMAZING if you approach it right, Northern Installation not included. It is, however, a kick in the junk so I understand the dislike. Imandra can die in a fire and leave the F750 with me.

Trust me. It took me hundreds of attempts just to get all the materials I needed to open the tunnel. And I had to brute force the 745 to try and worm it's way through the ungodly ice.
@@Simulate1NinetyNine this isnt a challenge. It's a form of torture. The snow makes scouts literally useless, the CAT 745 is basically nothing, chain tires make you unable to navigate snow, so you are forced to drive up ICE, IN MUD TIRES.
Amur isn't *too* hard, and I'd say Northern Aegis is actually quite easy, by virtue of there being hardly any jobs there and the roads aren't all sabotaged. The key to success both heavily relying upon the overpowered Ziks and spending as little time in Urska River as possible; Because about 70% of the region's difficulty is condensed in that god-awful map. Which you start in. Sourcing as much as you can from Chernokamensk and cosmodrone may seem long winded but not having to spend hours mounting multiple rescue operations will be faster. That and abuse the fact that towed trucks can still have their engine running and contributing. There's few things the Ziks can't solve, having it towing a truck with a crane (or a second Ziks) and snow chains covers those few bases. It does get incredibly boring being stuck using that truck for everything though since few vanilla trucks can cut it out in Amur. The big Cats and Tractors can do it, albeit with even less utility. Oh and abandon any delusions of using scouts in Amur. Scout trails are a myth. You're better trying to wedge and tow your Ziks up that rockface than actually using a scout as there is always four foot deep snow right after.
Amur have too many rocks for the Tatrain? I would also imagine the Kolobs with their active suspension upgrade installed would probably do ok in Amur, unless the routes are too tight for saddle high trailers. The getting pushed by winched truck is very handy for getting through the deep swamps in Yukon, though the Kolobs are pretty useful in Yukon once you learn the routes that are giant truck friendly.
It's more the sheer depth of mud and snow in Amur that makes scouts mostly ineffective. Really not worth bothering. Zikz or other top tier tricks for the win.
The Tatarin's biggest handicap beyond a lack of snorkel and trailers is it has no ice tires meaning it cannot climb up icy rocks. The few times that you do literally have to use a scout because of trailers or the pass being too narrow you're best served with something like the Yar. Use your Ziks/other big truck to tow it there on flatbed or trailer then let it struggle the last leg. Like with the bigger trucks going in tandem (aka tow 2 scouts and then take them both up) can help. As for the Kolob and it's active suspension it's alright but Kolob has far less utility than the Ziks which can do everything it can and oft better. Getting beached on rocks is something no truck is immune to so the tandem strat helps there a lot as you can push/pull trucks off them.

Spent around 30 hours in the base game and i thoroughly enjoy the vehicle rescue missions and the "cargo rescue" missions (when there's cargo out in the world you need to collect with a crane and then deliver). The other missions are fine but they get a bit dull after a while with the exeption to building the bridges maybe. I noticed the dlc's are on sale so i was wondering if any of the dlc maps have more vehicle/cargo rescue missions than others or if it's generally an equal amount of diversity all across the board?

Tied between Season 8 and 9, although I find the hilly challenge of the latter refreshing and there is more big cargo. Season 9 review coming soon, 8 is already on the channel!
What's the difference if I purchase the various DLC's vs a season pass. Does a season two pass include the older season one dlc's and the new one's. Which I assume if it does, makes a season pass cheaper. One less one has already purchase the dlc's.
Can anyone tell me why some trucks like the tatra 805 are locked in the shop for me? It's a red padlock. I have bought every pack and DLC. Also tried uninstalling add ons and re installing. Still locked
Weird, my first suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall addons and make sure the Year Passes are also installed (depending on platform). Which platform are you on?
Season 1 was so much better than season 2. Not that season 2 was all that bad, just not much content compared to season 1. Plus season 1 offers better trucks IMO.
I hate first-year maps. They are tiring and stupid. The level of difficulty is gained by having to take some route a million times, carrying the same load. There are trees lying along the route, which partially yield and partially do not. Trees that you would actually remove, which, with such vehicles at your disposal, would be child's play. The terrain is unnatural, staircases made of rocks, icy mountain roads, feeds that cannot be moved.... If you start to think about it, it gets so silly that it makes you unwilling to play. Year one has better and more useful vehicles, year two has better thought out, more realistic maps where it makes sense to use vehicles that earlier only worked well in Main.
Definetely, 1st year is far more better, cause after 5 mln. copies sold mr. Sorokin became lazybone and his team had a lot of money without any responsobility for content, bugs and schedule. P.S. Still they have 9 mln. copies sold and can't give adequate schedule for 3 year pass.
It's common for companies to shortcut but I think these were unprecedented times too. Year 3 stuff will come soon, it's just probably more profitable to release early but also it's nice there is a level of surprise.

The Year 4 Pass is unfinished so I have not made a video about that one yet.
and Merry Christmas!
Have a good one!
Spent around 30 hours in the base game and i thoroughly enjoy the vehicle rescue missions and the "cargo rescue" missions
(when there's cargo out in the world you need to collect with a crane and then deliver).
The other missions are fine but they get a bit dull after a while with the exeption to building the bridges maybe.
I noticed the dlc's are on sale so i was wondering if any of the dlc maps have more vehicle/cargo rescue missions
than others or if it's generally an equal amount of diversity all across the board?
Great video. I going to buy both expansions on Xbox.
Hope you enjoy both!
@@ATribeCalledCars Thank you. I am from the Czech Republic so I really need that Tatra pack. Tatra is a Czechoslovakian brand and one of the oldest car/truck manufacturers in the world.
Year 1 pass all the way. I need more Amur.
I would love to see something as tough as Amur again but I'm not sure we will.
Just bought Y2P with your code!
Cheers!
You're welcome! Xx
For me: Year-1 offers better maps, while Year-2 offers better vehicles.
Yeah I can understand that except for the Zikz, but then it is more limited when it comes to addons.
Przeszedłem podstawową grę z ponad rok temu na 100% 😊 super . Dziś zakupiłem year pass 1 mam chorobowe będzie grane na przemian z innymi grami do końca miesiąca mam chorobowe 😊 powolutku będę grał . Szkoda ze nie wprowadzili trofeum pucharków do zdobywania na konsolach ( do dodatków map )Pozdrawiam dziękuję za materiał będę chciał kupić wszystkie mapy czas pokaże😅
Hmmm, I have all the DLC, I'm still waiting for those raps on vinyl though.
I play this game since it was named "Spintires". So i bought both DLC's...
Been here since before me! Hope you're still enjoying.
Quick question. I got the base game and on the third map of first region, is it worth buying all the seasons now?
Or just finish the base game first?
The base game keeping me occupied already.
great vids, subscribed! :)
I think they should finish this game and start developing a new Snowrunner game with next generation physics.
I'd be keen for another game, but maybe the Year 3 Pass will keep us sufficiently busy while we wait.
Santa guided me to your Video 30 seconds after the Update and im 3 hours into my first campaign of snowrunner and thats a cristmas miracle although im Not christian at all.. so here is my question: do you know if there are any plans on adding cutting down trees with a harvester or something like that ? Thanks for the sum up it's quite interesting for now:D
If you’re just getting started… then that’s an understatement. Wait till you get more in. It’ll be a pain. Even if you know how to “play” the game lol
You have quite the SnowRunner journey ahead of you as already said, enjoy! Unfortunately we do not know much about the next phase. But I doubt we will wait long and I'll make a video about it.
COVID made my play this game. Enjoyed it a lot. Like the pace, but now its too lonely LOL! I need more IAs in this game to live it up. Also miss looking around with eye tracking. Multi-player is a bit lame, cause of the way progress works. Choose maps over trucks? There are free Mods for trucks...
I would like a little more map life too, even if it was more nature. And I agree about eye tracking and maps over trucks!
@@ATribeCalledCars Some animals maybe. Can’t be hard, much life in games like Ghost Recon Wildlands. Cars on the road.
I can’t believe they thought Tennessee was ok to ship out.
It really was not the best value, that's for sure.
Did you know that this dlc was being created when studio employees moved from St. Petersburg to the west as a result of the war? They were made by only a few people who didn't leave at the time.
@@Durzy007 I made a video about this, yeah.
@@ATribeCalledCars in that case I know it from your video :) Forgive me, I didn't remember that you did it. Lately I've been living the fact that by the termination of cooperation with Saber Interactive, CDProjekt Red released an unfinished nextgen patch.
The racing dlc was my favourite from year 2 but year 1 is way better
Interesting, a few people say it was great but mostly not. I think it was good for variety!
@@ATribeCalledCars I liked how simple it was compared to the other maps
@@pitzu3695 "I like getting less bang for my buck".
WoW , epic video ! 🙂
Cheers, Tommy.
We need 2 vs 3
It's being worked on :)
@@ATribeCalledCars thanks a lot man, btw, you should do audiobooks or something
@@armandoguerra7658 Would people really want to hear me read a book?
@@ATribeCalledCars I certainly would, you have tone and a dry humor that makes me enjoy listening to you quite a lot
I found it funny when he said "at least 100 hours of gameplay", purely because I've clocked in about 650 hours.
Oh yeah, very conservative! I've done a lot more...
Jesus.
I guess it makes sense though given the fact you have a UA-cam channel about the game
@@JohnFordGaming I haven't added up the total, possibly on purpose...
As they say ignorance is bliss,
i have all 3 year passes and dlc
You're ahead of me, I haven't bought the Year 3 Pass yet. But I suspect I will have too fairly soonish...
I will get the season 1, 2, 4 qnd 10 soon. I find them cool
Good choices!
@@ATribeCalledCars thanks :)
@@ATribeCalledCars i have 9bucks left. Any standalone dlc trucks you recommend? Thinking bout the mastodon or another season dlc
@@boiledtea479 Well Humble Bundle has a fair few racing games and add-ons at $13, could be worth a look! Failing that, the Mastodon is pretty good and useful. Tatra Pack can be interesting too. I'd avoid the scout stuff as they are generally less useful.
@@ATribeCalledCars ive decided on the season 1, 2, 4, 6 and 10. Thanks for your advice! :)
I’m quite new to the game so I’m miles behind! I’ve bought the season 3 pass but still have a lot of stuff/content with a padlock, have I made a mistake buying this? Just trying to unlock some stuff from the latest levels, can anyone clear up what’s included in this pass??
Thanks in advance
New video about the phase 9 sneak peeks?👀
Coming soon. Once I've digested the Christmas turkey.
how is season 8?
I read it's the best map in year 2
Tied between Season 8 and 9, although I find the hilly challenge of the latter refreshing and there is more big cargo.
Season 2 includes 5-8 so you don't get 1-4. But buying 5-8 separately is usually more expensive than the season pass.
9:00 new addons for zikz or mod ?
Can anyone tell me why some trucks like the tatra 805 are locked in the shop for me? It's a red padlock. I have bought every pack and DLC. Also tried uninstalling add ons and re installing. Still locked
Weird, my first suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall addons and make sure the Year Passes are also installed (depending on platform). Which platform are you on?
@@ATribeCalledCars xbox 1, I did that and it seems to work now thank you
Is there any more revealed for season 3?
Yes, some sneaky bits and bobs. Coming soon!
what truck is at 6:19? is that a modded truck?
It's the Kirovets K-7M from Season 8: Grand Harvest. I tried to avoid mod trucks for this video to show what you get in each season.
@@ATribeCalledCars how do you get those tires on it? when I looked it only had one set
@@AWRussell The upgrade can be found in one of the Season 8 maps.
well i buy the standerd edition
Season 1 was so much better than season 2. Not that season 2 was all that bad, just not much content compared to season 1. Plus season 1 offers better trucks IMO.
I agree, especially the Zikz and 5600TS.
fun fact:
people like to read fun facts.
You're not wrong.
Ah yes, the International hx 520 which turned into an International paystar lol
I brought the year 1 pass and the high roller pack is there ):|
Meanwhile me playing mudrunner to 100%
I should really play it, bought it a while ago...
Year 1 was good. Year 2 was a waste of money ! Not going to bother with year 3.
Year one has better and more useful vehicles, year two has better thought out, more realistic maps where it makes sense to use vehicles that earlier only worked well in Main.
and i tought imandra was hard
Amur is definitely the worst, but Imandra can be a nightmare too. Especially as it is earlier in the game.

Someone please tell these year 1 and year 2 can we play on snowrunner standard edition or have to buy premium edition? On which snowrunner edition we can play these year 1 and year 2. Please tell
Any edition will run any DLC content, so expansions separately or separate year passes. Definitely don't need premium.
@@ATribeCalledCars thanks bro one more help please, I bought year 1, year 2 and year 3 only from PS store, I didn't buy the game snowrunner because I already have a disc bought from the shop near by.But DLCs year 1, 2, 3 maps are locked in game, download option is not available, so do I have to buy snowrunner from store again to play DLCs which I bought? Please tell please help bro.
@@WWE_MMA_VIDEOS You shouldn't have to if from the same store. Long as you run the disc there should be an option somewhere to install the separate DLCs (I only know the method for Xbox so can't say exactly). Worst case, give customer support a message if you can't work it out.
