Watched this last night and took the test this morning, a lot of what you touched on helped me, the refresher on vacuum readings and memorizing electrical values especially. I passed first try, I like your explanations and using real world examples plus the cussing makes it feel more casual and not all boring college lecture lol thanks
Great seminar, bro. I had a good laugh over your comments about dealership techs. Thankfully, the dealer I'm at now does a lot of used cars, so that helps me keep my independent experience alive. One thing you didn't mention though..the dealers almost always have air conditioning! For us old guys, that's worth dealing with the dealership stereo types. Lol
@@MasterAutomotiveTraining I felt terrified at first lol but it went good thanks to your teachings that are accurate to understand! Also passed the A6 thanks to you! For the L1 program you sell for around $100 is it just a video or does it come with practice tests as well with a video?
Thank you been watching your other videos on repeat on my way to work everyday so the information can stick! I want to get my smog license could you give me information on it thanks
Oscar these are great I watch and re watch even as a Master . Could you possibly do a L1 series? That be great! Keep on brother!! Thank you!! Your friend in Columbus Ohio Bill
I love your videos, they have been great study material. I do have a question. Near the end of this segment, it's states that during vacuum test, due to clogged exhaust needle fluctuates from 12 to 24 on the gauge. During my reading I've known this to be from a broken valve spring. Is this a typo or mistake? Please explain . Thank you. On a similar note, can you guys do an in depth video on super and turbo charger operation and diagnosis? Thanks.
This video was a huge help for me!! Thank you so much, passed my a8 first try thanks to the video. Is there any hope that you'll do I video for the transmission ase test in the future?
It was 60 questions. If you watch the a6 and a8 test prep video it will give you everything you need to pass. Very limited manufacture based questions. I saw one of 2, everything else was pretty generic
I’m a technician over ten years always struggle to pass ase test. Going for this one next what book would you recommend. Just found out about your videos from another tech amazing stuff love the videos.
James Halderman's Engine performance book, however with what I've covered in the class you should be golden. Let me know if you have any other questions.
At minute 15:00 of this video, you have voltage drop values for certain parts of the circuit of a starter and alternator, but in another video you made, the values are different. Which are the correct values?
@@MasterAutomotiveTraining Sorry, I should've pointed out which ones were different in the other video. The other video had 200 mV from B+ to starter and 300 mV across starter solenoid. Which values are correct?
i remember i had an 03 sn95 that had a clogged engine and exhaust put 2 cans off seafoam and some tranny fliud in the engin air filter and boom fixed lmao.

Why the fuck you talking about distributor caps and rotors. None of these kids will ever see a distributor rotor unless they are at a small shop that does classic cars.
Lol, talking bad about a video 12 minutes, then an hour later, still watching, yet has to tell the world how special he is by posting yet another "I know it all and am the best" comment, thanks for helping the algo. Good luck with what ever it is you know or do.
Techs suck these days because of the same mindset as you. I know it all, and I haven't learned or don't need to learn anything, because I'm the best and know it all. Good luck with microwave mentality and good luck to the people who work with you ,around you and who's cars you service, they are going to need it. By the way thanks for helping the algorithm.
Just leave this video on repeat for a week like I did,you will pass the A-8. I scored a 23-25 on my recertification. Great video refresher.
Passed off of your videos and online practice tests. Thanks for making these man

Was there a ton of wire diagrams?
@@Klark-hm3cq I had about 8 or 9. Most of them were pretty basic diagrams. A couple Were more complex
Was it the full 50 questions as well or a re-cert? Also what topics should I study on?

Looking forward to it!@MasterAutomotiveTraining
It would be cool.to.see video.examples.of.all.those vacuum guage situations in real life
Thank you so much for the video. Great effort we learn from the best (master)
leakdown question. Can you have low compression and bad leakdown results? And opposite, can you have good compression and bad leakdown results?
At minute 15:00 of this video, you have voltage drop values for certain parts of the circuit of a starter and alternator, but in another video you made, the values are different. Which are the correct values?
I compared them all and they are the same except for one that has a PCM ground of .050v.

Thank you for the video but the website never loads up
I was soooo TIRED, sorry I missed the live.
Enjoy the replay of the live 😁
i leave your class and then watch the videos 😂
how do you do a running compression test on a single cylinder engine after doing static test?
Wouldn't be possible as you only have one cylinder. Id do a vacuum test instead.
On V6 engine if one cat is clogged,it will set misfire code on same bank or other good cat bank?
Great Video!👍
I am still struggling with my A8 ase test. I pray i pass it soon.
The A8 looks easier to me. I guess the online review is as good as being there in person.
Bro is smart AF
Thank you my friend 😊
Can you get in without ase certificate
Get what buddy?
No test yet
Start at 14:30
i remember i had an 03 sn95 that had a clogged engine and exhaust put 2 cans off seafoam and some tranny fliud in the engin air filter and boom fixed lmao.
What’s the easiest ASE to pass
G1 maintenance and light repair
