- Hey Everyone! In the process of making new videos for my youtube page, I came across this video hidden on my computer. Back in 2016 I bought a 2000 Jeep TJ as my first car and restored it from the ground up. I made this video around 2017. Hope you enjoy the tranformation!

I have a 2005 TJ, named "Dirt Dobber". It's Metallic Tan with color matching hard top, and dark tint, running on 31's Cooper AT. One of the things I love about going off-roading or to Jeep events is it always gets a crowd. Something about TJ's they just demand respect. The last true 4.0, the last true Jeep. They just look like they are begging to go off-roading.
You did a hell of a good job and showed respect to a good-looking TJ. Hope you enjoy it for generations to come.

Beautiful restoration. I would definitely restore any Jeep from '41 - '06 before I'd ever get a heep from '07 - present. In my humble opinion, the TJ is not only the last true generation of Jeep, but also the greatest generation of Jeep.

I got those same tires on my jeep a few weeks ago. The previous owner had on mickey thompson 33's mud tires. Not sure why they had those on it caused such a rough ride and they told me they never took it off road and only drove it in the summer. The wildpeaks smoothed out the ride a lot and helped reduce the gas consumption. I still gotta get the spark plugs changed but my jeep is an 07, I got no garage and it -25 today.. Gotta wait for some warmer weather since I just bought the jeep a month ago.

Rhino line the hardtop and pull the carpet out and rhino line the bead, thats what i did and it looks bad ass

Why do those hinges rust like that? Were the bolts aluminum or something that caused an advanced rusting ?
Cool! How do you like the Bosch pump? Mine is giving me some crazy level readings… Don’t forget the transfer case, transmission, and power steering fluids
I no longer own the vehicle but it drove much better after. No bogging down at all. I would recommend the Bosch pump.
How many kilometers the tj when you buy it?
you should have used all metal, not bondo on rust. Also, use fluid film on your jeep frame and underside every year
Why the smaller tires?
How bad is your gas mileage with those large tires and how slow is it on the highway passing

The ones in the video are, yes. I later replaced them with LED’s.
No they are not..those fog lights came on the sport package from the factory.

How did you remove the rust?
For the metal parts, I used a wire wheel, wire brush, and palm sander.
wisconsin/minnesota/michigan is where good jeeps go to die... lay off the salt up there!
