Agreed. I wish riff ideas as unique and refreshing as this came to me naturally on the fly too! It blows me away how they never sound rushed or cheesy. They are ALL album worthy. I wonder how many he writes that he ends up putting aside for an album instead.
I always find myself watching footage of Dimebag from back in the day & it still bums me out that I can never again hear his guitar playing. I feel lucky to have seen the original Pantera a few times & they were awesome to watch. Their music for me is still relevant in my playlists today.
I remember seeing Pantera with Machine Head opening for them back in 94, it was my first show as a kid. I saw Pantera again on Ozzfest in 98, then I saw them again in 2000 with Morbid Angel. The last time I saw Dime play live was with Damage Plan the day before he was murdererd. Dime was the reason I picked up a guitar, in my opinion he was the greatest metal guitarist ever. R.I.p. Dime, forever stronger than all.
Great episode! Loved the England vacation, I plan on getting the family back over there next year. Amazing place. Got my shirt and Starzinger on order too!!!
I can’t believe I am going to say this, but I was headbanging along with your intro song this morning and I took a roll down our short staircase and broke my ankle. 😂. Just got out of the hospital a while ago.
Tech tips section is a great surprise. And here is a tip from me: cable management is a pretty important subject when it comes to installing a pc. Getcha pull!
So you came to my neck of the woods then ola,Stratford is beautiful isn't it ola,I hope you enjoyed coming to my country,I should of popped out and come fo meet you
As time goes by... All my guitar heroes and all the great bands getting older... But they are still making great music. The new song from Metalica is probably not my favorite, but it has some really strong parts. That's only my first impression. 🙃🤘
Dime said he'd been playing for 13 years in the 1993 dime clinic piece. The fact that he could play that good in 1984, 4 years after picking up a guitar is just insane. Far beyond driven.
Great coffee Olas experience metal mania intense massive scales !!! helo to you Louise and the kids and you Ola from Canada Princess Edward Island thanks for sharing
EAGERLY awaiting your review and demo of the Neural DSP IIC+ plug in! It has a IIC++ mode too. I’m literally awaiting your review before making my purchase!! Thanks Ola, Happy Sunday!!
Does bringing justice for Lars mean zeroing the drums volume fader? Edit Just giving you the tip. When building a computer leave the motherboard inside the box it comes with when putting the processor and RAM, the inside is padded. That way it doesn't get accidentally damaged on the back side. That white X on the background looks sweet.
I usually go (not that I've done it too many times) motherboard first, install CPU (processor) and RAM first, if there are any m.2 drives or something like that, I install those BEFORE I install the motherboard in the case.
HelllllllllllllllYeaaaaaaah!!! Getcha Pull 🥃-CHEERS 🍻🤘🏿😎 That intro riff and Xtype is s chug-a-licious🍻.I missed the premier with Team No Sleep and I'm stoked about being here now.Getcha Pull 🥃-CHEERS 🍻
lol I am not in the least, surprised that Ola subs to Linus Tech Tips. So awesome. Linus would have been proud of your install process and practices. Oh damn now that I think about it, this would have been so cool to have a colab vid.
I had to subscribe after many years of watching your channel. You looking at your subscriber counter made me laugh my ass off. Thanks for the content my metal brother. Now you are plus one on your path to a million. 🤣
Did you check out the Cart and Horses whilst you were in Stratford? It's the 'birthplace of Iron Maiden" (where they formed and did some of their early gigs) recently been done up as a really cool pub, a shrine to Maiden basically.
I personally live for Ola arguing with his " working/not working Auto Gimble. It's for me, *the best running joke* of the channel. Love it. Ty Ola! Stupid Sick Intro!
Can't wait for more Ola's Tech Tips!!!
Me too
tech piss
That's it, I've seen enough.I'm unsubscribing to Linus Tech Tips.
I really enjoyed OTT :)
One of the best things about this channel is how much love Pantera gets. The more, the better! Absolutely love it. 👍
Come for the killer riffage! Stay for the Swola! We need an album of Swola riffs
💯 🙏🏻
he's got last year's riffs on Spotify!!
Agreed. I wish riff ideas as unique and refreshing as this came to me naturally on the fly too! It blows me away how they never sound rushed or cheesy. They are ALL album worthy. I wonder how many he writes that he ends up putting aside for an album instead.
Man, I can still listen to old dime solos, and it still really moves me, even if I've heard it 100 times. RIP Dime
Really happy you accepted JP's offer, you'll get to learn and teach at the same time and we'll get some epic content 🤘
You're singing voice is ahhh, incredible? Waking up with Ola is a Sunday morning must in our home. Thanks!

The pc/metal universe was waiting with bated breath to see which method Ola would go with for the thermal paste application.
DAT INTRO --SOLID< JUICY< FAST HEAVY< TOE TAPPING...
That was a sweeeeet tune.
That riff in the plane !!!!🤘🤘🤘
I can’t believe I am going to say this, but I was headbanging along with your intro song this morning and I took a roll down our short staircase and broke my ankle. 😂. Just got out of the hospital a while ago.
Say what? Really? Tweet proof please! ❤️
Bone breaking metal riffs!
Tech tips section is a great surprise. And here is a tip from me: cable management is a pretty important subject when it comes to installing a pc. Getcha pull!
Great Show!!!
The riff at the beginning sounds like a mixture of At the Gates, Testament and Bæst, so good
I love the song on the vacation montage!
Hey Ola, my new GC1.6 FR Killertone arrived a couple of hours ago, it's awesome!

Favorite part of my Chef's Sunday Off each week is having a breakfast beer and jamming while watching SWOLA
Holy shit, that bass tone is incredible!
Imagina watching a pretty happy vlog of london with black metal music
Very good Ola, I picked up on that Metallica song intro too - it's just "Eye of the Beholder". 🔥❤️🤟
i nearly spat out my coffee when Ola Tech Tips came on!!! HAHAHHAHAHA Well played Ola!!
Dime said he'd been playing for 13 years in the 1993 dime clinic piece. The fact that he could play that good in 1984, 4 years after picking up a guitar is just insane. Far beyond driven.
Not to mention that tone and in '84 there's no magic modeling on any electronic wizardry to mask mistakes.
Great coffee Olas experience metal mania intense massive scales !!! helo to you Louise and the kids and you Ola from Canada Princess Edward Island thanks for sharing

Does bringing justice for Lars mean zeroing the drums volume fader?
Edit
Just giving you the tip. When building a computer leave the motherboard inside the box it comes with when putting the processor and RAM, the inside is padded. That way it doesn't get accidentally damaged on the back side.
That white X on the background looks sweet.

That intro was sick. Louise is always a treat.
I usually go (not that I've done it too many times) motherboard first, install CPU (processor) and RAM first, if there are any m.2 drives or something like that, I install those BEFORE I install the motherboard in the case.
Hot damn, that intro song

I just want that black sparkle finish on literally any other model.
Cool!
Hope you had a good time here… even if the weather hasn't been great recently. You seemed to have fit a lot into a short time :)
It would have been so funny, if Linus from LTT came on set to assist Ola with his build, and maybe drop the CPU, RAM or GPU 😅
@13:52 THIS is why I love me some Ola !
Nice shirt, oh YURR!
0:16 thats brutal!
Olas newest hit, "WHATSUPBABY"
Haha i loved that
Best. Intro riff. Ever. Nice.
You mentioned on solar 125 about Dark Angel. I just saw on newsbreak that Jim Durkin of Dark Angel passed away. Sad news
