I always tried to reconcile that bass sound from The Who with the man standing like a statue a few feet from Center stage. Nobody ever sounded like John Entwhistle.
Interesting and unusual documentary. Strange how someone who wrote a song decrying cruelty to animals (You’re Mine) goes out squirrel hunting, apparently unsuccessfully thank goodness. He always comes across as a pretty laid back, low key guy, though.
The best rock bass player in my opinion
I agree & Keith Moon best drummer
Agree 🕷
Lemme and I agree! Lemme said the same thing about John Entwistle. 😀

Thanks for uploading this. It is *nice*!
So if this is around 1985 John Entwistle is around 40 or 41 and Kenney Jones is around 37 or 38.
He was the Rick Wright or George Harrison of his group.
In 1978 he was too OLD to enjoy the money?! Perhaps the truth was he was experiencing a feeling of emptiness that all those cars could not fill?

Prophetic dreams about equipment failure before the Live Aid show were exactly what happened!
Brilliant
If pete ever had to use the bathroom up there I bet he was real good at hiding it
8:12 John forgot how to play WGFA in 3 years? How is that possible? lol
L♡VED!
Bass guitars and tommy guns =success
That's not a dog that was a horse.
I wouldn't trust a documentary maker who can't spell the last name of one of his subjects correctly.
Rookie mistake
Interesting but very strange documentary. I wonder what the idea was, making this?
