I’m such a perfectionist and I have a hard time knowing when a drawing is done. How do you decide when do call something finished so you don’t fuss over it forever?
Leave it for a few days or a week, somewhere where you can’t see it. When you come back to it your eyes will be “fresh” and you’ll be better able to see anything that needs fixing.
hide it in a stack on procreate but don't make that pic the cover. let it marinate for 2 weeks then have a look at it

What resolution/dimensions do u use for the art you post? I'm new to procreate and I'm unsure how to make the quality of the image stay the same or be good when i post on instagram.
Instagram lowers all picture quality unfortunately
Awesome technique. I have a question (and you kind of mentioned it) I always start feeling overwhelmed when coloring and also when dropping a color palette to procreate and it has many different varieties. For basic colors I guess you are using the straight colors from the palette but for the shading? Do you use a darker tone from the palette or do you use modes like multiply with the same color as the base? Thank u ❤
i usually use multiply and use a darker saturated color!

I have Procreate but I can never figure out how to export the image so it’s not blurry. That’s my only set back from selling bc I can’t print lol
do you export as png instead of jpg?
@@eggmeboy I have tried both and they both have the same issue. Iv don’t the biggest canvas thing, the j and png, different ways to export. Everything I do is blurry :/
@@grey7153 that happens to me as well :( Did you find a solution for it? I've talked to some artists and I always get mixed opinions about this. Some say you should save it as a PNG to get better quality BUT others say this doesn't work because Instagram lowers the quality anyway because it only accepts JPG pictures...so I'm like 🥴 wtf do I do
