I've ridden the Rallye 300. It is very slow steering because of the 21 inch front wheel. & to be frank, the engine is a bit of a jack hammer for vibration. Even at idle. It's acceptable & tolerable up to an indicated 60 mph, about 6,000. But it actively discourages you from proceeding upwards past maximum torque revs of 6,500 - as it thrums & buzzes through the entire bike. One long term road tester held it above 70 mph on a long stretch of motorway, & the engine cut out & wouldn't restart. He later discovered that the resultant vibrations had shaken the plug cap clean off the spark plug! 😅
@@hiyadroogs definitely a bike for short trips and green lanes, I have had a test ride on one and the vibes come on over 50 mph , people seem to think they lessen the more miles you put on the bike?
@AWSmoto I couldn't say. I only rode one for 20 minutes. It's possible that it might lessen slightly, but engine balance is engine balance. I don't think long distance would be a problem below 60. But then that kind of defeats the point of a larger engine if a 125 could deliver most of the usable performance. It is very economical though, with an 11:1 compression ratio. 90 mpg is easy to attain.
That’s a smart looking bike. I saw a CF Moto for the first time this past weekend. It was the 300 or 450 sport bike, not sure which. Really, really sharp looking. I was impressed. “Chinese bike” as a negative connotation has basically been wiped out at this point, from a quality standpoint.

Thanks Nigel, and to be honest I really appreciate a small bike. The Voge is very easy to learn and get familiar with. I'm sure it won't sell Royal Enfield numbers because of the name recognition but doesn't mean it's not a fun good value motorcycle.
Just watched this again. What a beautiful coloured LCD dash. Who needs TFT? If I lived in England, I'd have this as a second bike. They shouldn't call it a 350 as it's a 322, as you point out.
Exactly, it's similar to the best casio watch you could buy in 1992. Retro cool is better than a straight up TFT EDIT: also remarkable to get 40hp from 322cc when Triumph's 399cc and Enfields 452cc are the same output. I suppose it is a twin...

Sean and Suzie, Love the name Bumble Bee. I love these type of bikes because they are the under dogs of the competition. I also love it's a parallel twin and because it's a Voge it's good build quality. I keep finding myself ask, do we really need any more power in the real world than this bike gives? Which bike do you think is the best out of this one and the Zontes GK 350? PS: The guy in the BMW was in the wrong and should have waited until you passed and not pulled out, shame on him! Hi William, thanks again for the nice comment. I think this is nicer than the Zontes, the GK350 has a little more Cc but the build quality isn't as high and that keyless ignition including the seat is ripe to cause a problem when the battery located under the seat goes flat. The Voge has a standard key and feels more Japanese quality to me (few bits of plastic here and there aside). Something weird is up with Zontes at the mo, they are not selling and they are not easy to get demo bikes from. I suspect Voge and in particular CFMOTO are putting on the pressure. I would have liked to have tried that 350cc mini adventure bike from them but no luck... cheers...

Survival is more important than who is right and who is wrong. If you had both chilled a little bit the whole situation would have been a bit more passive. I live in Germany, where many would rather have an accident than give in. Surviving is always first.

What a complete and utter plonker was that SUV driver, report him Shaun, i would. As for the bike well its for youngsters who don't weigh so much and have even less money. Being a twin it lacks the character of a single and like you, as an owner of a GoldStar, i just love a single.

Nice of them to close the road just for your opening shot 😂 BMW driver (+SUV entitlement) , they're always in the right 😡 Anyhow, I enjoyed that review and town riding makes a change, a different kind of wildlife. The throttle jerkiness, was it cable or fly-by-wire? Easily manageable, I was taught to ride the clutch rather than on/off throttle control, especially in traffic. What's with the one handed 70mph? Jeez I'm gripping on for dear life at that point, not a fan of motorway riding, maybe it's all just too new for me, but I'm happier blasting around country lanes. Always thought that model looked great, the yellow is eye-catching but yes I agree, it would be interesting to see it in different but still bright colour ways. Seems a powerful enough machine to me, not sure about with a pillion though, if only you had a willing volunteer to hand 🤔 High exhaust though, don't like those, it's not a scrambler so why? It does look fun and definitely lightweight to chuck about. I'm surprised you mentioned not flat footing on a Speed 400, I could when I sat on one, maybe not the 400x though, which I didn't sit on. I'm a 30" inside leg trouser size, it's not only the seating position but when the pillion seat is higher, it's one hell of a leg swing 😅
Hi Lee, the one handed I'd not normally do of course 😅 but I'd strapped on the bag containing my camera gear to the rear seat and I was terrified if it fell off on motorway it would be run over straight away and £1k+ lost. Typical BMW / Audi driver “I’m coming through” out the way ! 30bhp for town use 🤣🤣🤣 in the uk I could blitz most cagers on my mildly tuned 8-9bhp Vespa px 125, I had for a couple of years a BMW 310R (which spent most of its time in the dealers, new engine,massive electrical problems) which is in this class stonking motor (before it went pop) but if they are now sorted good fun, I quite like this bike we have them here but under a different name good vid Sean cheers, …. I expect you could've blitzed folk on the vespa but now they've all got PCP Teslas that do 0-60 in 3.5s 😂. I quite liked the look of the little 310 BMW, perhaps in adventure guise. I chap I know had a 410 himalayan but said BMW offered him such a deal on the 310GS that he couldn't say no, thousands off apparently. Perhaps they don't sell? I'm not sure. For me, the bike has many plus points, but sadly the awful mudguard ruins its utility in UK. Also the high silencer puts the bike out of consideration as I always use soft saddlebags.
Good point about the high silencer, I'd prefer and standard if a little upswept exhaust end can. I also like soft luggage. It does have a substantial heat shield on the silencer but probably not worth the risk...
SUV drivers are the worst they feel invulnerable in their tin tanks, quite like the Voge look a few things I would prefer different longer front mudguard and a touring screen just to guide the wind round the body a bit. What's running costs look like serv costs mpg etc.

I hate modern four strokes, so heavy and slow. My 1989 TZR250 weighs128 kg and puts out over 45 BHP. That's progress I suppose! The trouble with these small capacity bikes is that you can easily get something that weighs the same but puts out a lot more power, 1999 SV650= 165kg / 70BHP.

In traffic (especially so!) people are inherently stoooopid. Be it in a car, on a motorbike or just walking. People can be idiots. Perhaps it is somewhere in their DNA but more than likely it's embedded deeeeep within another 3 letter component: Their EGO. In the mid '60s this Voge would've been a fairly big, fast motorbike and the speed limits here in Amurica were 65 mph on our freeways and the usual 25 to 35 mph in towns with a mixture of 40 mph elsewhere. And yes, people broke the law back then by speeding just like they have for decades past and present. This Voge would have fit right in back then and still does. In England you have a tiered licensing program so you fine folks get a LOT more choice across the board and as such are never bored with your choices. Voge makes some decent motorbikes and if you keep in mind that the more han a few of the ChiCom (communist Chinese) manufacturers are in about the same place as the Japanese were in the early '60s, albeit with far more advanced products, then you realize just what a heck of a deal their offerings really are. I would prefer traditional twin clocks for instrumentation but the market demands this type of setup. And because of the tiered licensing in place, that market in England is primarily young folks. Its looks are geared toward the modern times in which it is set. It looks cool. It looks modern. It looks to be a fairly quality piece. It does NOT look like crap in your video. It looks fine and not just fine for the money, please believe me. i very much enjoyed this look at yet another brand we do not get in these United States of America. Not your fault, but you could see it coming - he's in 2 tonnes of killing machine and clearly is completely clueless, so act accordingly. You have one parameter you can control and that's you. Assume they're going to pull out, back off, don't pick a fight. Your most important ride is the one after the one you're currently on.

This is an ultra short stroke engine, with exactly the same bore & stroke as the Yamaha R3. Maximum torque is at 9,000. Maximum power at 10,500.

@@MindfulMotorcyclist Most police forces in the UK now have online reporting for dangerous driving/mobile phone use etc.London cyclists seem to use the system very effectively with NIPs being issued within 2 weeks.
