Blue Jays have to trade from Strength. This means parting ways with Ross Atkins now.
Yeah if they have to trade Bo or Vlad I don't want Atkins doing it
I'm not worried about their pitching the early season struggles were due to injury and a blip. Their hitting however just isn't good enough. We have a large enough sample size.
I wish everyone would just stop talking about bat speed, exit velocity, and hard hit balls, they consistently talk about how hard Vladdy hits the ball last year and this year. Talking about how he was getting unlucky hitting it that hard, if it came off the bat at 120 mph off but right into the ground everytime it's an out 99% of the time.
The other thing I'll say, a lot of of Jays MLB analysts say they don't think that changing the hitting staff would help. Just food for thought, at least on the pitching side I do think that Pete Walker is one of the better pitching coaches, he's helped turn around Jays that had a really bad season: Happ, Stripling, R. Ray, Berríos, Kikuchi, and hopefully now Manoah. Not sure why cleaning house on the hitting side and having one singluar voice of a good hitting coach couldn't make this type of difference, right now there is arguably too many voices.

Terrible off season brought in basically three players two of which are not hitters, how do they think this team will hit any better.
Jays must not have trash cans in the dugout. Seems to be the only way Springer can hit. Also why are these guys acting brand new? As if the offence has only been bad this season? It’s been since this time LAST season. Brandon Belt bout to get the red carpet treatment from the Jays. There’s gonna be a giant “I told ya so” from thousands of fans at the end of the season to the number nerds.
They are producing results there losing ball games isn’t that the result of not playing good baseball?
Sell Sell Sell we have seen what building around weak star players look like, lets not go full leafs. Full rebuild rather watch a bad team with potential then a bad team way past due.

It is over, ownership is not putting up with this much longer, they will blow this team up and try to recoup some money. Look for forward to this team being one of the worst teams in baseball for years to come
