your girlfriend's english is excellent, thank you. Great to get a woman's perspective. And I particularly liked it when she threw a shaka while she was driving :)
i thought I answered already but obviously, the message didn't go through. Thanks a lot, I will relay the message to her!! I liked that as well and she really enjoys driving the Grenadier....
Ingermar and Stephanie. Thank you for taking the time to post this - you are both naturals in front of the camera. Hopefully collecting my car next week - I might even pop over to see Black Sheep in the future - enjoy your journeys.
Was great to hear Stephanie share her experience with the Grenadier. I would assume she is a normal, non Grenadier fan, so to hear that she has enjoyed the vehicle and maybe become a fan, is great! Thor and now Stephanie... Like I said, your days are numbered Ingemar! 😉 Looking forward to your 10k review.
Hello Ingomar, thanks for your videos in general and this one in particular! A nice idea to describe the impressions of your girlfriend regarding the Grenadier. I think that with this car for guys there is quite a reluctance in one or the other partner regarding the vehicle, so at least with my wife, who in the 14 days that I am now allowed to drive my Grenny, has not yet driven even once... I am confident that the predominantly positive descriptions contribute to the fact that she will soon make up for it... 😁😉
i thought that might be a refreshing perspective. i had to convince her a little to drive off-road but she loves it now! I am sure your wife will like it as well 😉
We finally took delivery of ours, here in Eastern Canada. I was told that ours was the sixth to be driven off the lot. Meine Frau war zuerst nicht begeistert. Aber jetzt ist sie ein grosser Fan. Sie ist 1.60 gross. "Side Steps" waren unbedingt nötig.
Hello, new subscriber to your channel. Very interested in the Grenadier, not available here in the US yet. My wife and I enjoyed your girlfriend’s perspective. On a side note, great jacket
thank you very much. i think the orders opened recently in the us....hope they deliver faster than here in europe 🤞. we love those jackets!! www.carinthia.eu
there is only two air outlets in the passenger row. until now it wasn't super hot here so I can´t say for sure if that is sufficient. but the privacy/thermo glass in the back is very good. i would recommend that
Makes me excited for mine , iv been told by my AD i should have it by Christmas, but I won’t get overexcited as I would imagine it will be slightly longer, he tells me the uk 🇬🇧 wait from deposit is 6-8 months. I will keep you posted
Great conversation! I was so looking forward to buying this and finally got to have a look at it at the recent Brisbane (Australia) 4x4 Show. I'm glad I waited. Although it was mostly spot on, the cabin felt restrictive (overall space). I could have forgiven this but unfortunately, the seats were so cramped my thighs were spilling over the seat side bolsters and I realised that it would become painful after a couple of hundred km's. I'm not a small human though! I'm 5'11" and 105 kgs, so I guess I'm not the demographic for the seats... I checked out possibly overcoming even this but the sheelman seats are like $6k so I just couldn't justify it. I was gutted by the above, I've been holding off buying anything else since the announcement a few years ago.
Could you please tell me the dimensions of your dog crate? And how big/heavy is your dog? Also, is your dog able to climb onto the rear footwell on his own?
it's 68cm wide - 66cm high - 93.5cm deep (26.8x26x36.8inches). he gets in there without the ramp (cargo and rear seats) but at the rear footwell he slipped sometimes when he was tired after a run. getting in there is a bit tricky...
nothing besides the "telltale speaker" failing every now and then. there is some sort of vibrations around 1800-2000rpm at certain speeds...i will try to capture that on my 10k km review....
Aha, a big hole in the review!😉 No comment from Stephanie on the lack of mirrors on the sun visor. If she noticed and isn’t bothered, I agree. Unfortunately, my wife does use them so I’m keeping it secret for as long as I can.
similar to an X5, Defender, Discovery....it's not really larger (4,89m/16ft) than those cars. Of course in a city like Vienna you have to pass 2 or 3 spots until you find a suitable one. Most garages have a limit of 2,1m so you fit just in at 2,05m.
downloaded an app and took some measurements (not sure how accurate the app is): 50km/h at 76dB 90km/h at 82dB 100km/h at 85dB 110km/h at 87dB kick down 50 to 110km/h at 95dB peak
I agree what where you expecting? I thought that early reservation holders would be locked in on the price with no dealer mark ups, where did you get this information?
Still you have chicken tax, which is 25%, and this vehicle sure has to pay it. Add to this any other import tariff you may have and it makes a huge difference.
My I enquire where you are from? I am guessing 'Loki' is the clue. So Norway or close by. I ask because coming from the subtropics of Australia certain things, such as heated seats, that might be important to you, are of no interest at all to me. In fact quite the opposite. I live on 100 plus acres, down gravel & mud roads with creek crossings. So 4x4 capabilities is highly important to us. One concern I have with the Ineos, is regarding servicing. I certainly don't want to travelling vast distances to have it serviced or repaired. Hopefully Inoes is onto this.
it's Austrian, living the Alps. Yes, heated seats make no sense for you 😜. I hope they can built a strong network for servicing. so far they are using Bosch servicing points if there's no specific Ineos dealer around...
Great vid! Going back to view some of your older ones. Nice couple & vehicle, a great combination! Keep up the good work.
thank you very much!! hopefully i find the time to produce more shortly!
Great videos and a great point of view and let her know her English was excellent! I like how she articulated what she thought.
i already told her. she thanks you a lot 😉
Another great video. Very useful to get a different point of view. Thanks to both of you for sharing.

that is great news!!! wish u a lot of fun and great times with the car! i am curious what else black sheep is coming up with...

🤣🤣...i know, i know!
glad you liked it. i thought it might be interesting if someone talks about the car who was not a fan or off-road enthusiast.

Super sympathisches Video! Danke für die vielen Infos 🙂
Great to get another perspective 👍 more positivity

sidesteps are a great asset!!! enjoy your Grenadier and I wish you many unforgetable adventures 😉

Hey Trevor, I’m located in Eastern ON as well. Looking to purchase shortly from Dilawri in Mississauga. How’s your experience been? Cheers!

How is the ventilation ac for the dog in the back, I live in a hot country and thos is an important feature for me.
there is only two air outlets in the passenger row. until now it wasn't super hot here so I can´t say for sure if that is sufficient. but the privacy/thermo glass in the back is very good. i would recommend that
ill check the temperatures once it's getting hot here
where do you get the dog ramp
i bought this one in the local pet store for roughly 80$. It's an "AniOne Wild Variety"
I sat in one a few days ago and cabin felt a bit cramped but I'm 6'4".
in which area did u feel that specifically? head, legs, arms?
Makes me excited for mine , iv been told by my AD i should have it by Christmas, but I won’t get overexcited as I would imagine it will be slightly longer, he tells me the uk 🇬🇧 wait from deposit is 6-8 months. I will keep you posted
i hope they can reduce those times as production rates increase. the factory should have quite a significant capacity once building at highest rate.

and the dog weighs 25kg
Are you having ongoing software issues, and owners are mentioning a vibration at around 2000 rpm, any sign of this also.
nothing besides the "telltale speaker" failing every now and then. there is some sort of vibrations around 1800-2000rpm at certain speeds...i will try to capture that on my 10k km review....
Are there size-able bottle holders in the back on the doors? I noticed no cup holders in the back for rear passengers?
There are but when doors closed , very hard to get stuff in and out of them
👏👏👏
Aha, a big hole in the review!😉 No comment from Stephanie on the lack of mirrors on the sun visor. If she noticed and isn’t bothered, I agree. Unfortunately, my wife does use them so I’m keeping it secret for as long as I can.
i won't tell your wife🤣. stephanie is aware but she doesn't care 😅
I wonder if it's possible to retrofit visors from another car? Failing that a small mirror and gaffer tape!
I would think so. And I found visor sleeves with an integrated mirror online. there is hope your wife will be happy as well with the Grenadier 😆😉
How easy do you find parking in towns and cities, as it is a large vehicle?
similar to an X5, Defender, Discovery....it's not really larger (4,89m/16ft) than those cars. Of course in a city like Vienna you have to pass 2 or 3 spots until you find a suitable one. Most garages have a limit of 2,1m so you fit just in at 2,05m.
How noisy is it to drive? How many decibels at idle and out in the highway?
downloaded an app and took some measurements (not sure how accurate the app is):
50km/h at 76dB
90km/h at 82dB
100km/h at 85dB
110km/h at 87dB
kick down 50 to 110km/h at 95dB peak
forgot the idle...get it tomorrow
USA pricing was nuts - we don't have VAT tax and it's still more expensive than EU. Dealers will be allowed to mark them up as well
I agree what where you expecting? I thought that early reservation holders would be locked in on the price with no dealer mark ups, where did you get this information?
Dude, it also works it oposite direction. All the shit you make, in EU costs like golden shit😂
We have carbon tax and it raises the price almost 20-25k more
Still you have chicken tax, which is 25%, and this vehicle sure has to pay it. Add to this any other import tariff you may have and it makes a huge difference.
Agreed 81 k starting this vehicle is made for the classes not the masses
