I saw that 50cal went through that clear “shield” and hit that target stand. I was curious if he noticed. The slow-mo video was pretty sweet. I saw the sparks and though “oh! What was that? Oooh.”
Uea, I seen that to but Matt didn't. He even pointed at the metal target stand and didn't see the huge dent, lol
I was hoping I wasn’t the only one to notice
Yeah I wanted to see him notice it

Lol I was looking for this comment when I saw it
I do like how he focuses sometimes on the aesthetics of the weapons. It’s just nice to hear someone else talking about how cool they look sometimes
right...because its so important when playing ghost recon and getting those weapons skins for clout
People mock aesthetics because they want to sound professional or practical, like that makes you cooler. Everything we do, from the type of car we want to how we design our house or the clothes we wear, carries an aesthetic. Let's face it, most tactical rifles all accomplish the same goal: putting bullets down range, reliably. Aesthetics however play a role in which rifle you initially gravitate to. Either you think the Tavor looks like a contraption or you're attracted to it's unique design and the pros/cons that design brings.
Anyone else notice the .50 BMG round hit the target stand at 16:24 after shattering the target?? If the stand was more to the left it would have been a nice collateral shot. Awesome content!
im supriised he didnt notice the giant hole through it as he picked up the clear stuff lol
@@Purelypking-ym9fp i was about to comment this :D .....
Honestly impressed by the shin and arm protectors. I’m curious what the specs on it as far as weight and mobility.
based on how they were thrown around, i doubt even the big thigh guard weighs more than a couple pounds, you could probably comfortably wear a full suit of it, though with it's thickness, it may interfere with a plate carrier if it reaches low or if you made bicep armor
The spalling off that wrist one would wreck your hand.
@@youtubeSuckssNow no doubt some kind of lifted edge on hand side would help with that.
theoretically if you get shot at that arm protector while aiming it looks like there'd be a really high chance of ricochet straight into your face, due to it's polished surface.
@@youtubeSuckssNow and the thigh one would wreck your pork & beans
I'd like to point out that you can see the 50 BMG hit the plate rack leg at 19:51 and shower sparks after blasting through the ballistic glass. Pretty cool.

Hitting the metal in the background @19:52 is amazing
The quietest one was... Enfield MkIV converted to .45 ACP & "muffled", with a built in silencer, used in wwII. Lots of german sentries never knew what hit them. Was good to 100 yds, but made for closer engagements.
I love that massive hole that Matt left in the target stand behind the one that the .50 blew up.
This damn near has to be one of your best intros ever it’s so simple but ridiculously hilarious I’m literally crying right now😂 😂😂😂

Wasn’t expecting that golf ball head hit lol I actually started laughing 😂 comedy comes in all forms
Your new weapon is somewhat similar to the Russian AS Val. The stock of the rifle is also foldable, but the silencer is non-removable. But the sight is just the same removable. If you somehow manage to get AS Val, then try to shoot with this weapon.
I thought this was a AS-VAL cause its on black ops and shoots uber fast lol

Man. That Vortex Razor sight is nice. Also worth more than my car.
i love the evolution of demo ranches shooting range.
Forearm guards are actually a REALLY good idea, considering that in a firing position, your arm is right in front of some pretty damn vital areas at certain angles. Thigh guards already exist but those look dope.
i feel like at certain angles you run the risk of a bullet skipping off of your arm guard and right into your face tho
You're joking right? If you look at the firing position, the curved plate could easily cause the round to ricochet and shoot off into your neck or face. I mean it *COULD* save your forearm, but it could also turn a forearm gunshot wound into a face/neck kill shot
@@360gunner That was my exact thought the moment I saw it. The forearm will deflect it straight into your face and the thigh could deflect it straight into a vital organ.
@@360gunner 😂 Y'all are something else. But what about muh head and face? So the argument you are making is that it's better to be shot through your arm and into your heart/lungs/everything else that BODY ARMOR is supposed to cover, just to make sure a ricochet has less of a chance to hit you in the face? Have you ever seen someone use a tac shield? How about the shoulder armor he mentioned? By your logic, it would make more sense to NOT have that because it's possible that bullet fragments might hit you after hitting them first 🤦
@@seevee9271 The military literally already uses thigh protection. EOD especially. I don't know where you got the idea that it's better to take a hit somewhere just to avoid the possibility of a ricochet, but it's certainly not modern doctrine.
That forearm guard needs a raised tip on the inner edge as to catch any deflecting bullets still in trajectory. That kneck shot would turn into a head shot Matt.
Or case the front galf in some rubber
There was a police officer near my hometown who was killed by a deflected bullet off his gun which turned it into a neck shot.

18:45. This is the greatest video representation of the sheer power of a 50 caliber i have ever seen. After watching him shoot all the smaller guns you realize the incredible magnitude of what the 50 cal really is. The cameraman who is not even shooting the gun gets knocked back. Absolutely unreal
I notice he said a .50 bmg bullet is about a quarter inch in diameter, literally like the easiest system of measurement to figure out, caliber is a thousandth of an inch, .500 or .50 of an inch is half an inch, not a quarter inch, .25/250/257s are literally called "quarter bores".
@@miamislice3280 Well I assume he is talking about the bullet itself and you are referring to the diameter of the cartridge. Both of you are right, the cartridge is insanely big, but the bullet itself is not the same size as the cartridge diameter

Dealing dash is gambling only the house wins
Hi Davie
Awkward thing... Dealdash is basically gambling. I know you've spoken out against gambling in Off the Ranch, and don't know if you've done a lot of research in to Deal Dash. Basically they're pitting people against eachother for bids and people end up losing a lot of money if they don't win the product they're bidding on. It's not just an auction site, it's a competition for who has the most expendable income. Kind of predatory.
This right here should be the top comment
Glad to not be the only one who thinks this.
I’m not 100% sure on this but I think it’s just a normal auction site. And I’m sure they give the money you bid back to you lose the auction, just like any other auction.
