The wider tires are definitely needed for this car. My 24 has the 225’s all around and I’m not too confident taking on corners and easily can whip the tail out. For this much power, grip is needed!
Or you can do 255/35 19 and 265/35 19 for a more agile setup or 255/35 and 285/20 for more beef in the back if you're stage 2 tuned. Both these setups help reduce understeer with a nice wide 255 at the front.
Thanks brother. 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. They are forged wheels 9" front wheels and 10" rear. 12.5mm spacer just up front. Michelin Pilot super sports 👌. Check out my new video from today!!
Car looks nice! I have an all blacked out M340i. My upgrades: Dinan Cold Air Intake, Dinan Turbo Inlet Pipe, Dinan Shock and Handling Kit, Dinan Exhaust, Dinan Sway Bars, Dinan Dinatronix X, and soon to add on tomorrow is my Active Autowerkes Catted Downpipe. I picked up a brand new never installed AA for $600!!!
BTW the Dinan Exhaust is amazing. I've watched so many videos of people with the AA downpipe and my car already sounds like that without even putting on my downpipe yet.
@@AutofanaticCT Thanks bro. I want to keep the outside fairly stock just to make everyone think I have just another M340i 😆. I highly recommend the Dinan exhaust though.
@BigRedVeteran I appreciate it man. I already fitted the car from the factory with the m performance exhaust so I put the money into other upgrades hahaha
Nice setup bro ! I got same one in Portimao blue. That and yours is the only two best colors ! I just got the csl lights led and carbon mirrors . U got them! Plus the diffuser for the back . 👍
That looks clean bro! I got a Davit gray m340 lci as well. Do you have links to the front lip, side skirt, and spoiler? Thinking of the exact same mods lol.
DINAN SPRINGS AND SUPPLEMENTAL RIDE HANDELING KIT M PERFORMANCE SKIRTS G80 M3 REAR WING M PERFORMANCE FRONT LIP FLOTING CENTER CAPS A20 SUPRA FORGED WHEELS WRAPPEED IN PILOT SUPER SPORTS 25% TINT ALL AROUND M PERFORMANCE EXHAUST
This looks fire 🔥 How much did you pay for the wheels and where did you buy them from? I have 2024 M340 RWD (skyscraper grey w tacora red) coming in next month and I wonder how those wheels would look on mine. How is the ride on those wheels with Dinan springs? Is it harsher?
Thank you so much! I paid around 1300 but I replied the two front stores from 255/35 to 245/35 to be under the 1% variance for the xdrive system. Then I purchased tpms sensors. So all in all I'm about $2000 including new tpms install and mounting and balancing of the front wheels and balancing of the rear. You will need front spacers. Some say minimal of a 5. I have the 12 and it's flush. As far as you go you have rwd so no need to worry about the 1% rule. You have the ability to run the stock supra tire size. I would say yes. With the suspension and the tires ride is definitely a little harsher but, the handeling and looks are bight and day.
@@AutofanaticCT Where did you buy the wheels from? Was it privately from a Supra owner? Also, do you think using 255/40 front and 285/35 rear tires would help with the ride? I'm thinking 10mm front spacers. No need for spacers on the rear?
@seven92023 bought the wheels on FB marketplace. Supra owner that pulled them off his car as soon as he bought his car. Yes you can do 255 40 front 285 35 rear. At least a 5mil spacer.
@@AutofanaticCT nothing against your car, I just am not the biggest fan of Supra wheels. Plus your car is literally my dream spec m340 so it was kinda sad watching you take the oem wheels off. Videos are great btw
Is the gloss black front lip OEM? I have a near replica of this build coming in a couple months and didnt want to go with the m performance lip just due to the fact that it was carbon fiber. I didn't see a gloss black option available on my order screen at the dealer.
These wheels close up the gap even more. It’s perfect. Getting my Supra wheels stripped and polished and they’re going on my M340 next weekend along with your exact suspension setup. Hope it looks as good as yours🤞🏼
It's not the wheels, it's the meatier tires with bigger sidewall that close the gap more - 245/40 & 275/35. But I agree that it looks better to compliment the Dinan lowering springs.
@@seven92023 You know that the 40 and 35 are the sidewall specs right? I believe stock m340 wheels have a larger sidewall which is 45. The supra wheels are wider which pushes the wheel closer to the fender which is what I meant when I said it closes the gap more. It’s the wheels that dictate the larger tires.
@@danielo22 That number (40 or 35) is also related to the first number (245 or 255 for example). So combined both numbers indicate the size of the sidewall. On the size the Supra wheels are, one can run variety of tire sizes that can fill up the gap differently. So yes the wheel allows for larger tire size but each tire size affects the gap differently.
@@seven92023 40 &/or 35 do not relate to the (245 or 255) at all. The 245 and 255 refer to the width of the tire and the 35/40 refer to how large the sidewall is. You can have a 35 sidewall on a 305 tire or a 225 tire. They don’t correlate at all.
Nice car. I am a fan of you and your site. I watch UA-cam television. No offense intended, but please consider removing those Supra wheels. That Supra is an ugly vehicle and the wheels are no exception. They don't belong on your car
