You should not use forcespeed, if you are standing directly beside those enemies, but you can pass them in forcespeed (at least it's the case with those adepts on the bridge after the second boss)
Two things: 1. Regarding not using Force Speed or roll while stealthed. I don’t know about Operatives/Scoundrels, but Assassins/Shadows have a utility that causes enemies within 5 meters of them to be slowed when you activate Force Speed. As this is an offensive debuff, it will pull you into combat if it happens. So, if you don’t have the utility, you’re fine. If you have it, just don’t use Force Speed within 5 meters of an enemy NPC. 2. When fighting the second boss, I’ve found that a properly timed Force Shroud can absolutely cheese the red/blue beam. So Operatives/Scoundrels can roll to avoid it, while Assassins/Shadows can tank it, taking little to no damage.

I've found it throughout the game that my combat stealth only works half the time. The other half I will be in stealth and still in combat with some faraway mob that doesn't seem to care about me, but still preventing me from interacting with stuff.
Idk why, but I've had lucky runs where no zealots spawn, or only one or two spawn. Sometimes a lot spawn. Running this with 306 and a fully augmented character I find it really easy. The only thing you have to really watch out for is getting slowed by the droid boss while you try to switch the blue and red pylons. I've never really had any trouble with Darth Ikoral's enrage timer but you have to be very careful about his push and I have had to do some careful maneuvering to not lose my healer on that fight.

Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but to get more DPS for the 3rd boss Scoundrels / Operatives should take the blow for blow talent & use Evasion just as he finishes his long cast to reflect back the force scream looking attack. Third boss also has a quick DOT cast that he puts on our companion, interrupting that as often as possible allows your comp to survive the fight pretty easily. Hope it helps!
Tried this today @Level 80 and got my arse handed to me on first boss. The instructions still apply today or have changes in the game made this difficult ?

You will have all alien species that are available to subscribers unlocked. However note that after the 7 days pass all the characters will get 'disabled' and you will have to choose which characters you want to activate again (they do not get deleted though so don't worry).
@swtorista, I haven't tried this, but if you have a rank 50 Z0-0M, she is, in my opinion, the most powerful healing companion, it might make the Ikoral fight a bit easier. My highest rank Z0 is rank 19 and can sub in for a healer in a pinch if the healer drops during regular Master Mode Flashpoints.
I might. But in short the first two bosses have nothing interesting, the last boss has a flamethrower guy. Interrupt, use defensive, and back over 10m away when he flamethrowers. If you can kill him you'll then finish easily. No tricky sneaking around involved or archaeology tricks.

Hi! Prices went down since I made this, but it's mostly from the Embers that drop from tech frags. You still make a good chunk of change from this. "I ran it about 4 times myself and asked lots of other players what their experiences were while running since I was streaming. Players were reporting in at clocking in at 7-15 minutes per run, and although I was very slow, I definitely think you could get it to under ten minutes per run. So each time I ran I got approximately 20 pieces of gear per run (gold gear if I had 306). This seemed pretty stable. While I don’t have %, other players said they’ve had the experience of getting about “1 ember per run / per full box of disintegrated gold gear”. On my server the embers are pretty stable at 500,000 credits or more. So that’s 6 runs per hour, 500k each, 3 mill in embers. If you get unlucky with that, you also get 2 boxes full of extra 10ish pieces of gear from the master mode weekly that I didn’t even include in my estimate to make up for luck. I’ve heard these are much lower on other servers though ex 300k on Darth Malgus. I got approximately 10 isotope thingies per boss. So 30 per fp, and 6 fp per hour, and they are pretty stable at 15,000 credits on Star Forge server. so another 2,700,000 credits."

I've got a max level stealth smuggler, but don't currently have him geared up, while I am actively working on improving my SW's armor rating + am very used to the SW's abilities. For a, well, not-so-great player, would it be possible to run this on veteran with a non-stealth character? Or should I invest more time into working with my smuggler?
I don't believe it's doable in the current game without BiS, but, I'd start heroic moment long before the fight, to ensure it's available on the final smackdown.
Do you know if it's still soloable now at gear level 80? I can solo Taral V MM on Rep side, but haven't found a decent one to solo through Imp side yet
Can the bosses be kind of sorta kited? If so, I can kill anything. Doing the heroic star fortresses solo was fun. I enjoy finding things I can kite to death for fun and profit.
The first boss you can kite a bit, but if you are a stealth character you fight in melee. Kiting also wastes time, and your damage time is important for the enrage timers.
Great Video i should really try this out ,while I still got my Sub . Also by chance have you tested if its just better to like "go in, do first boss, get his loot,go out,reset instance,repeat"? Would interest me if thats more effecient rather than doing whole instance? I really hope that one day they fix the Stealth for the classes ,like the whole weapon not going invisible when its holstered. but if i understood it right that "bug" has been arround for years with no visible intention of them fixing it ever. So maybe shouldnt get my hopes up too high .
Fighting him in the back isn't working well for me either, Zealot is still attacking. But when I fight him right at the entry upstairs, it's optimal. Zealot is not even spawning at all that way.

Um yes, I've done it numerous times, but don't recommend it. Athiss is shorter and easier, and offers the same rewards. Why anyone would want to do Red Reaper is Vet mode in confusing.
Seems like there's a bug with Ikaro's fight - which doesn't allow you to use his lightning against against the two shielded mobs that run into the room. Assuming its a bug, but it did stop my run in its track :(
He solo it under master mode 2 years ago was his luck. 7.3 game update you need to to bring 1 player with you and both of you used companions before go into master flash point. Same for OP missions. Know some one trying to to solo master flash points with maximum gear didn't work. Maybe some day he wish for use more companions not just one.

As someone coming from another mmorpg (wow) , I can also add don't klick your abilities. Use the key binds. This way your rotation will become muscle memory and your mouse, eyes and head will be free for other stuff ;¬)
I've been trying but get stuck on the robot boss. Sometimes it seems like no matter how I configure the pillars, he sets them all to the same color right before he shoots. Idk what's going on.
@@Swtorista I think I might have figured out what was going wrong also - I think my companion was so far away that after he shot, he would change the color of the pillars before the shot hit and she'd get 1-shot. But now if she is too far I put her on passive for a second so she comes back closer, and now she never gets 1 shot. :D I was also not paying attention sometimes to the pillars. Some of these bosses require camera work!
Robot boss - if he's killing your companion, my guess would be you need to click more of the pillars so that the companion attack is less strong. OR take less damage yourself so your companion can heal themselves more if they are damaged badly but not completely 1 shot. Can also up your companion's influence to 50 if you haven't already.
I solo Master Mode Red Reaper on my Hatred Assassin, and this sometimes happens to me. I have the pillars set to 2/4 or 3/3, then the Droid targets my comp and one shots them. I looked at the combat information, and apparently it was hitting for 315k damage to my companion; which should only be possible when all 6 pillars are the same color as the attack the Droid is using. My guess it is some sort of glitch, one of many Bioware has never patched. It also seems to be random. Sometimes it works just fine, others the boss one shots my companion at 25%. Twice I have seen him do it at roughly 50% (still beat it both times). It is irritating, to be sure, but not unwinnable. As, if your class has any sort of passive healing, you can set your comp to damage, rather than heals, and still win. The fight will simply be a race between your personal dps vs the boss' rage timer. Hope that helps!
wow you must be top .000005% to be able to do this. I tried soloing veteran black talon with assassin. Even with heroic momentum I get my ass handed to me in 10 seconds (champion fight not trash). IL 302. So unless a VM flashpoint can be tougher than a MM one, then I can't see how this is doable.
I don’t consider myself a top tier player and it’s easy once you get the groove of the mechanics for each fight. For the first fight the only thing is to liberally use speed buffs to get to him on time to interrupt his cast on the prisoners. The only way you die in the first fight is if you miss an interrupt. 2nd fight is just a matter of making sure your back is against the wall for his pushback, and then clicking two or three flags when they all change to the same color. Also don’t forget your movement impairing breaker ability for when you get slowed. 3rd fight is more challenging but I do it easily with the keep him up front on the stairs method. Only big thing to keep in mind for the 3rd fight is it’s essentially a DPS check, so make sure to not waste any time with poorly timed interrupts and you can completely skip the red orbs to just keep dps’ing away on him
Not even close to top tier - definitely took a lot of practice. Also I SKIP all the trash - the boss fights can be very different than the trash as you fight 1 enemy not a pile of them.
Swtorista what would be the best MM Flashpoint to solo on a Level 70 Sorc, Gear rating 258? I'm using 70 because it is not level locked and i am not a sub
The Mawvorr Handler License lets you get the Mawvorr. It's currently 7.5 million on the GTN (Star Forge), and you can get it from Oppressor Pack's. I don't know what those are.
The mobs are pretty rough, some are easier than others. The hallway after the first elevator/before the first boss is pretty brutal. Imo it's probably one of the 3 worst pulls in there. I've done it before on a merc, and it sucked. I think I died twice before I killed them all. I usually only take stealthies and mara (force camo) through red reaper mm. I'd think hammer station would be easier, but you have to have a good companion, good utilities and use cc in big groups, like the big death group at the front. (try both, see which pull you hate less?) Could try mm black talon too, mobs don't hit as hard as the other fps, with exception to the first mob, cc the gold for a much easier time. However, the bosses have very very tight enrages. ( light side first boss is easier imo)
Hammer Station can potentially be done solo by a tank, although it might be better as a stealth tank (Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow) so you can avoid the trash. Hammer Station is arguably the easiest Master Mode, just watch the exploding probe droids from the first boss, you are going to need a way to cleanse the stacks of the beam attack though as it will kill you quickly, depending on your gear, that is the only thing I can think of that might prove a hurdle for soloing Hammer Station. The 2nd boss can be nasty is you do not get the droid down first because of his flamethrower, make sure to turn the droid away from your companion as well. The only other thing of note is that the boss and the medic have a shield that bounces between the two of them. On the last boss, once he begins channeling his frontal cone, you can side step it to avoid the damage or you can reflect some of the damage with Saber Reflect. The challenge here will be getting the adds from overwhelming your companion, it might be to have a melee companion (ie. a Force user or a beast, Force users tend to run in so they can use their saber) standing behind the boss so when the adds come, they will go for them then you can use your aoe taunt to bring them to you. The other thing that might prove annoying during this is that the AI of your companion might decide it better to cc one of the adds that spawn rather than healing. One other thing of note will be the blue circles, keep an eye on where your companion is standing and move them if need be by turning them passive so they follow you. Hope that helps.
@@Linkforlife199 A little. Also, the reason why I asked if any Veteran/Master Flashpoint mission could be done solo by a Sith Juggernaut is because I'm playing right now as one. I don't know if I will ever finish Hammer Station in master mode (because all enemies becomes "boss level" enemies in master mode, if I remember correctly) but I will definitively try to finish it in Veteran mode multiple time to get a nice equipment. While I'm here, do Flashpoint bosses drop equipment with modifications that can be removed at one point? I have a nice "golden" armor set from the cartel market and powerful mods would be definitively useful.
@@wargamesmaster You can get gear with mods in it, but if you remove the mods, you can only put those mods into the same slot gear you got them out of if I remember right (ie. A chest mod into a new chest piece).
They need to give maxed geared players a level boost in rpg in master mode at least a Jedi knight and sentinel should be able to mow down up to six mobs without a healer. They should get something for being maxed. It's like every time we get better gear or a level increase they take it away by increasing the mobs level so we really don't noticibly benefit from it. You grind out the new gear level and gear and your basically back where you started because either your being reduced in level on lower level planets or your not noticibly stronger because they raise the games mob levels that counteract Amy benefits you would have gained. So i fail to make the point when lower Lower level players benefit from a level boost in flashpoints but a fully capped geared player doesn't really get much benefit. What's the point of raising the levels and the gear if your still going to take allot of damage even when you have really good maxed out gear and a healer in master mode. Yeah I know it's supposed to be challenging but maybe it's a bit too challenging if your Jedi knight or a tank and your getting killed by only two mobs you should be able to handle alone.
it's great someone is finally showing this game some love but for the love of god please get a pop filter. I wear a headset and certain words are higher pitch than others and fucking kill my ears. Your voice is very mellow and low normally so turning you down isn't an option.

had that happen too. I was told if you do it fast enough there's no zealots. Didn't do enough testing to confirm.

I do t think the class matters much but I would highly suggest a DAMAGE character. The Jedi class you see me running was my tank.

In the previous expansion, It raised your ability to "get caught" while running past. I'm not sure that's still true.

How to skip mobs fight until reach elevator? I always pull mobs even companion is on passive and always I stay in fight when use cloaking screen?
I always have a hard time with that too. Usually, I just end up letting them kill me lol After I rez, I can stealth past them without any problems.

I've got a max level stealth smuggler, but don't currently have him geared up, while I am actively working on improving my SW's armor rating + am very used to the SW's abilities. For a, well, not-so-great player, would it be possible to run this on veteran with a non-stealth character? Or should I invest more time into working with my smuggler?
I have a question; can F2P play Red Reaper even though they are not 75, and might get in trouble or get banned for playing it?
I don't believe it's doable in the current game without BiS, but, I'd start heroic moment long before the fight, to ensure it's available on the final smackdown.
Do you know if it's still soloable now at gear level 80? I can solo Taral V MM on Rep side, but haven't found a decent one to solo through Imp side yet

Can the bosses be kind of sorta kited? If so, I can kill anything. Doing the heroic star fortresses solo was fun. I enjoy finding things I can kite to death for fun and profit.
The first boss you can kite a bit, but if you are a stealth character you fight in melee. Kiting also wastes time, and your damage time is important for the enrage timers.

Fighting him in the back isn't working well for me either, Zealot is still attacking. But when I fight him right at the entry upstairs, it's optimal. Zealot is not even spawning at all that way.

On veteran mode, the kolto stations cannot be used while solo. This change was recently done.

Um yes, I've done it numerous times, but don't recommend it. Athiss is shorter and easier, and offers the same rewards. Why anyone would want to do Red Reaper is Vet mode in confusing.

Seems like there's a bug with Ikaro's fight - which doesn't allow you to use his lightning against against the two shielded mobs that run into the room. Assuming its a bug, but it did stop my run in its track :(
He solo it under master mode 2 years ago was his luck. 7.3 game update you need to to bring 1 player with you and both of you used companions before go into master flash point. Same for OP missions. Know some one trying to to solo master flash points with maximum gear didn't work. Maybe some day he wish for use more companions not just one.

You only really have to avoid using it when you're near the enemies, if you use it at a distance and move through them it's fine.
As someone coming from another mmorpg (wow) , I can also add don't klick your abilities. Use the key binds. This way your rotation will become muscle memory and your mouse, eyes and head will be free for other stuff ;¬)
I've been trying but get stuck on the robot boss. Sometimes it seems like no matter how I configure the pillars, he sets them all to the same color right before he shoots. Idk what's going on.
Correct. He resets them all on a frequent basis and you gotta be fast with your movement abilities or mitigate the damage another way.
@@Swtorista I think I might have figured out what was going wrong also - I think my companion was so far away that after he shot, he would change the color of the pillars before the shot hit and she'd get 1-shot. But now if she is too far I put her on passive for a second so she comes back closer, and now she never gets 1 shot. :D
I was also not paying attention sometimes to the pillars. Some of these bosses require camera work!
@swtorista - So what do you do when the 2nd boss 1 shots your companion at 3/3 stacks? Is there some hidden mechanic?
Robot boss - if he's killing your companion, my guess would be you need to click more of the pillars so that the companion attack is less strong. OR take less damage yourself so your companion can heal themselves more if they are damaged badly but not completely 1 shot. Can also up your companion's influence to 50 if you haven't already.
I solo Master Mode Red Reaper on my Hatred Assassin, and this sometimes happens to me. I have the pillars set to 2/4 or 3/3, then the Droid targets my comp and one shots them. I looked at the combat information, and apparently it was hitting for 315k damage to my companion; which should only be possible when all 6 pillars are the same color as the attack the Droid is using.
My guess it is some sort of glitch, one of many Bioware has never patched. It also seems to be random. Sometimes it works just fine, others the boss one shots my companion at 25%. Twice I have seen him do it at roughly 50% (still beat it both times). It is irritating, to be sure, but not unwinnable. As, if your class has any sort of passive healing, you can set your comp to damage, rather than heals, and still win. The fight will simply be a race between your personal dps vs the boss' rage timer.

wow you must be top .000005% to be able to do this. I tried soloing veteran black talon with assassin. Even with heroic momentum I get my ass handed to me in 10 seconds (champion fight not trash). IL 302. So unless a VM flashpoint can be tougher than a MM one, then I can't see how this is doable.
I don’t consider myself a top tier player and it’s easy once you get the groove of the mechanics for each fight. For the first fight the only thing is to liberally use speed buffs to get to him on time to interrupt his cast on the prisoners. The only way you die in the first fight is if you miss an interrupt. 2nd fight is just a matter of making sure your back is against the wall for his pushback, and then clicking two or three flags when they all change to the same color. Also don’t forget your movement impairing breaker ability for when you get slowed. 3rd fight is more challenging but I do it easily with the keep him up front on the stairs method. Only big thing to keep in mind for the 3rd fight is it’s essentially a DPS check, so make sure to not waste any time with poorly timed interrupts and you can completely skip the red orbs to just keep dps’ing away on him
Not even close to top tier - definitely took a lot of practice. Also I SKIP all the trash - the boss fights can be very different than the trash as you fight 1 enemy not a pile of them.

Swtorista what would be the best MM Flashpoint to solo on a Level 70 Sorc, Gear rating 258? I'm using 70 because it is not level locked and i am not a sub

The Mawvorr Handler License lets you get the Mawvorr. It's currently 7.5 million on the GTN (Star Forge), and you can get it from Oppressor Pack's. I don't know what those are.
I really wanna try this with my sorc. At least the first bosses. Are the mobs to hard to beat on the way there?
I didn't want to try it since it seemed like it would take a lot of time. I've heard the mobs are very difficult though.
The mobs are pretty rough, some are easier than others. The hallway after the first elevator/before the first boss is pretty brutal. Imo it's probably one of the 3 worst pulls in there. I've done it before on a merc, and it sucked. I think I died twice before I killed them all. I usually only take stealthies and mara (force camo) through red reaper mm.
I'd think hammer station would be easier, but you have to have a good companion, good utilities and use cc in big groups, like the big death group at the front. (try both, see which pull you hate less?) Could try mm black talon too, mobs don't hit as hard as the other fps, with exception to the first mob, cc the gold for a much easier time. However, the bosses have very very tight enrages. ( light side first boss is easier imo)
Which flashpoint mission can be done solo in Veteran or Master mode by a Sith Juggernaut?
Hammer Station can potentially be done solo by a tank, although it might be better as a stealth tank (Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow) so you can avoid the trash.
Hammer Station is arguably the easiest Master Mode, just watch the exploding probe droids from the first boss, you are going to need a way to cleanse the stacks of the beam attack though as it will kill you quickly, depending on your gear, that is the only thing I can think of that might prove a hurdle for soloing Hammer Station.
The 2nd boss can be nasty is you do not get the droid down first because of his flamethrower, make sure to turn the droid away from your companion as well. The only other thing of note is that the boss and the medic have a shield that bounces between the two of them.
On the last boss, once he begins channeling his frontal cone, you can side step it to avoid the damage or you can reflect some of the damage with Saber Reflect. The challenge here will be getting the adds from overwhelming your companion, it might be to have a melee companion (ie. a Force user or a beast, Force users tend to run in so they can use their saber) standing behind the boss so when the adds come, they will go for them then you can use your aoe taunt to bring them to you. The other thing that might prove annoying during this is that the AI of your companion might decide it better to cc one of the adds that spawn rather than healing. One other thing of note will be the blue circles, keep an eye on where your companion is standing and move them if need be by turning them passive so they follow you.

@@Linkforlife199 A little. Also, the reason why I asked if any Veteran/Master Flashpoint mission could be done solo by a Sith Juggernaut is because I'm playing right now as one.
I don't know if I will ever finish Hammer Station in master mode (because all enemies becomes "boss level" enemies in master mode, if I remember correctly) but I will definitively try to finish it in Veteran mode multiple time to get a nice equipment.
While I'm here, do Flashpoint bosses drop equipment with modifications that can be removed at one point? I have a nice "golden" armor set from the cartel market and powerful mods would be definitively useful.
@@wargamesmaster You can get gear with mods in it, but if you remove the mods, you can only put those mods into the same slot gear you got them out of if I remember right (ie. A chest mod into a new chest piece).

I started to download the game I was at 10GB and it started to fall to 9.40 and than go 7.60 so I deleted it
They need to give maxed geared players a level boost in rpg in master mode at least a Jedi knight and sentinel should be able to mow down up to six mobs without a healer.
They should get something for being maxed.
It's like every time we get better gear or a level increase they take it away by increasing the mobs level so we really don't noticibly benefit from it.
You grind out the new gear level and gear and your basically back where you started because either your being reduced in level on lower level planets or your not noticibly stronger because they raise the games mob levels that counteract Amy benefits you would have gained.
So i fail to make the point when lower Lower level players benefit from a level boost in flashpoints but a fully capped geared player doesn't really get much benefit.
What's the point of raising the levels and the gear if your still going to take allot of damage even when you have really good maxed out gear and a healer in master mode.
Yeah I know it's supposed to be challenging but maybe it's a bit too challenging if your Jedi knight or a tank and your getting killed by only two mobs you should be able to handle alone.
it's great someone is finally showing this game some love but for the love of god please get a pop filter. I wear a headset and certain words are higher pitch than others and fucking kill my ears. Your voice is very mellow and low normally so turning you down isn't an option.
it should be easier to beat when you have a 40+ rank companion
