Thanks to everyone with the overwhelming positive comments about our pitch. It was such a great experience and surreal being in front of the Dragons after so many years watching the show.
I do love Touker but as a businessman he should have thicker skin. His ego is so fragile that he always has to say he's out when he's already been rejected.
I think it was funny when he said that he wasn't going to be greedy, but offered then offered 20%. I thought at 15% would have been a non greedy offer!
Unfortunately I couldn't disagree with you more Touker Suleyman is a smart Guy, why should he work with people who didn't consider him? He knows that they wanted Peter Jones.
I do love it when Jenny spices her exits up, this time instead of "for those reasons I'm out" she threw in "so for that reason I'm out" nicely played Jenny, thanks for keeping us entertained 👌
These guys are a real success story. They got into 830 Aldi stores last year and in Morrisons in 2019. Plus it seems to be a huge money making business.
What is the differentiating factor from other oat based protein bars? I live in Dubai, UAE and have yet to see this product in supermarkets. (or chemists etc)
Tej and peter are my favourite dragons. Tej for his calm, collected and sophisticated approach towards securing deals in the den and also accepting rejection. Peter because of his vast knowledge in business and articulate and profound ability to shut people down or bring people up
They were asking $50k for 5%. He matched Peter’s offer at 20-25%. Peter went first - Tej was in the position of power to undercut Peter’s offer. He chose to copy it. He lost that deal.
Jenny looked so uncomfortable pre meditating her reason not to invest. Who cares if they have another busines, the one they were offering was practically flawless and already turing good profit. She's so full of crap. Why did she ever go on there?
I sometimes wonder if Jenny is the only genuine one. So many deals don't go through, so I think Dragons sometimes negotiate and do deals for TV, with no intention of really investing. Could it be Jenny is actually only interested in genuinely advertising rather than playing up to the camera? Just a thought.
I’m guessing they don’t wanna be part of a chain or a potential Distribution type company. Underneath the actual business. I don’t really blame them tbh. they wanna own the whole ip of the actual brand. Just a thought though, if the sub business is good enough why not invest right?
@@nickpellatt I was actually surprised, I looked through the list of Dragon's Den investments, and the vast, vast majority of them went nowhere. Negotiations were stopped at some point, deal didn't go through.

It's a matter of pride. But honestly, they could have declined Mr. T's offer politely. There was no reason to say he was not 'The Chosen One' and be dismissive. It's not a good business strategy in the long run.

Black Stig ........If they proposed it was shared by Ta and Peter they would risk one of them backing out and the other potentially too..........Peter was the correct choice to push this biz within the UK......If you check his background yould possibly think the same.

One of the best episodes. A lot of humour, great down to earth entrepreneurs, a good product, the Dragons fighting to "sell themselves," Deborah (and Tej after he "lost" ) showing her class, Jenny true to form, Touker unhappy, but like many others, I think the dream team would have had Peter and Tej. "Dear Lord, what a sad little life, Jenny. You ruined my night, completely, so you could have the money, but I hope now you spend it on getting some lessons in grace and decorum because you have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on"
So Peter, Tej and Tukar all wants it , Debra likes it but won't invest for her personal reasons - and Jenny is OUT cause she thinks this business is not worth investing cause the guys have other business. Jenny must be really insightful.
I believe she has the lowest net worth of all the dragons on this panel. Still worth more than me, but yeah, as Peter says this episode "There's always winners and losers".

@Google Account Except Tej is worth more than Peter and has major foothold in the American privatised heathcare and wellness market. It's one of the few areas that Peter can't even claim to compete with Tej.
