Great job on the heater core replacement and i respect the fact that you do things 100percent the correct way and will never take a short cut!! Great work as always on these fox body's
Great job double Matt on the heater core replacement, very good time on it, I like seeing different ways of changing them, where as when i did my 85 twice, i dropped the steering column down some but didn't remove it, but did remove the passenger seat though for more room. There are many ways i have seen it done, great job guys!
Remember it is not a race or about how fast when doing that type of job on these antique cars. That old plastic is very brittle so if it takes longer by not breaking anything so be it. Congrats Della on your T-Top!
@@GearHead704MAN I LOVE ALL 7 MUSTANGS AND ONE CAMERO Z28 BUT MY FAVORITE IS MY FIRST MUSTANG MY 87 MUSTANG GT WITH T TOPS AND I LOVE IT AND I WILL NEVER SELL IT.
Had s mint condition black 86gt in high school, car was as close to perfect as it gets literally brand new but i was young and ignorant and raced and wrecked it a couple of times, i ended up selling it to a friend for 1000 bucks, boy her 86 brings back memories, i met folks i didn't know and theyd be like "you used to have that black mustang didnt you" , my heater core went out in that car back then after i punched the timing to 14 degrees but i was lucky, my dad and brother did that job for me one day while i was at work, they said it was really hard, i have a black 88 now and it kept loosing antifreeze couldn't figure out where where it was loosing it until last week putting on bbk longtubes i discovered a loose hose on the return at the firewall going into the heatercore with a trickle of coolant under it, i hope thats it, if anyone is thinking of getting bbk longtubes you better know what your getting into, its a hard job, i wouldn't get em if you still have stock heads, really no reason
Hey buddy!!!!! I’ve been waiting since Foxtoberfest for the upload on the new ride!!!! But you know we always enjoy the other content!!! Good luck Della and as always love them bloopers!!👊🏻👊🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I haven't changed my oil or any fluids or breaks..its only been about 10 years.i have changed multiple carbs though..1985 306.5 speed.my water pump has leaked last 5 years.
I knew a guy years ago that could do a heater core in an hour somehow for very cheap. I have no idea how he did it and he passed away so I guess I never will. I dropped my mustang off and picked it up an hour later with heat. I’d love to know how he did it.
I'm looking to buy a fox body mustang 5.0 project or running I live in Michigan but it has to be a automatic if you know someone please let me know asap thanks
Her T-Top is really nice and has a LOT of potential. Going to be a good project! Also great job on the heater core replacement!
Hey Superfly! Agreed a lot of potential, thanks buddy!

Thanks for sharing, glad you got to avoid the heater core lol. Also, I'm not a fan of longtubes as they make it hard to work on the car.
How appropriate. You two working on the heating system and plumbing of Halo while exhibiting gratuitous plumber's crack throughout the video 😂
🤣 exactly!
Awesome video MATT. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Happy New Year. Much love and RESPECT brother
Tim the ever consistency sir! Thanks much and happy new year to you too!

Probably didn't pull the box out is my guess, but either way, wow that's amazing.
Ouch.my 85 you just take out the glove box take off the heater core cover and slide in the new heater core..30 min and done.
I think that's how it is on all non A/C cars.
