Brand new EXTREMLY THRILLED Ryvid owner...I wanted to mention that the communications cable disconnect involves unlocking it with the red pulldown tab, but you also need to depress another tab just below where the connection point. The video shows it all a bit quickly in one motion, but I didn't realize this until someone pointed it out to me. I only pulled down the red tab and tried to separate the connector, and it wouldn't budge.
Got my reservation. Pretty excited since it will be my first motorcycle. The anticipation is killer! Love that it is so customizable. Time for my 3D printer to get to work.
Had mine about a week, put 260 miles on it, i love it. Riding dynamics are a fair bit different than internal combustion motorcycle. Especially instant torque and no engine braking when letting off on throttle in sport mode. All good, just different 😊
@@pascalfo6014 My family flipped out when I told them I am getting another bike. I am 71, so I settled for a 2 seat convertible. Now I'm running around in a 370Z convertible. Fun ride.

Great info in this video, Thanks! Mine just showed up. Sadly, so did the snow. First impression... it is a good looking well made machine. I am 68 and have owned dozens of bikes over the years; British Japanese, European from a 1956 Francis Barnett through GPz 's and a Sportster. The build quality of this is akin to my BMW or Harley. A riding impression will have to wait, it was 15 degrees here last night.
Dong, I so appreciate your candor and understanding and thought process through building the bike . It’s incredibly unique. I’ve watched a ton of videos from UA-cam enthusiast where you were there and you’re just so thoughtful about everything that you built here Nobody’s making a frame like that or thinking through all these details This is truly the iPhone of electric motorcycles. Given all that , I love to buy one right now, but I’m waiting for the next step in your battery evolution I like to see something a little bigger I don’t need more top speed. I need more torque and range. Like everybody else in the world. I’m down in San Diego and Santa Fe. If you’re down here, I’d love to meet up. I feel like we are a cusp of Price and Performance for electric motorcycles and how they play the gray area between that and electric motorcycles and electric mopeds. And you guys don’t offer the best of both. But you provided it so perfected that it’s worthwhile. it’s like my iPhone. I could buy an android with greater specs, but it just wouldn’t work as well. So all that is not a criticism it’s a huge compliment. But if you could just bring up the battery a bit, you have the biggest winter around because it’s so so so smartly engineered. No Harley boys is gonna buy an electric bike right now. Is those of us that can afford to and want to use it every day that look for a bike like yours I could care less about going on the freeway most of the time. But it would be nice to know and then. Can think of a perfect example of driving from Irvine to San Diego after buying one of your wonderful motorcycles.
I like the concept, I would like to see easier battery taking in and out. It should be as easy as unlocking the battery and pull out like a AA battery. The simpler the better.
What displacement is equivalent to a gasoline engine motorcycle? . 50cc or something? 250cc? In Japan, the driver's license is different depending on the displacement of the motorcycle, so this is necessary information if you are buying one in Japan.
Been thinking about getting this bike, but the removeable battery I feel like if I leave it on the bike when I go in to work that someone could just unlatch it. I hear locking handle, does this mean it requires a key to remove the battery?
When I saw the wheel on the battery....DAMN these guys actually care about their customers!
The more I learn about this bike, the more I see the careful thought that was put into it, which cannot be said of all things in life.
Yeah ! This bike should out sell anything in its class !
Lets gooo!
Definitely metacycle could never

Same thing happened to me.
Thanks for putting together this great new owner operations video!
Glad to hear it!

I'm going to need to see some of these upgrades/customizations. Sounds cool!

Anthems coming near you!😁

Is it better to not know about international combustion bikes before starting? This is my first bike so I won’t know anything else.
Looking good. Operation seems easy enough.😉
It's a simple ride!
That Video certainly helped. Can't wait until mine arrives.
🤞
Have ordered Anthem. Very excited to ride Ryvid Anthem at my favorite places and share the Ryvid fun with friends. Thanks!
I've been riding since the early 70's. I wish I was 20 years younger. I would buy one of these today.

Cool design, removing the battery is key!

does the battery double as a power station? that would be amazing.....awesome ride anyway want one!!

Any chance we'll get to see this in Europe?

There's a combination lock on top of the battery to securely lock it to the Anthem.
Do you have to sign anything or any paper work when the bike is being delivered
Is there any chance this will come to germany? I would love to have one
any self balanceing bike?
