Some great additional information provided by @HTFConline (twitter.com/HTFConline) on Twitter. - The Terriers nickname can be traced back to 1969 with a Yorkshire Terrier called Skippy walking onto the field before a game. The assets of the dog such as speed/tenacity/determination etc were seen as traits of the team at the time and the rest of what you said is correct. (twitter.com/HTFConline/status/971820321677471745) - The Bradford City rivalry is more of a 90's rivalry. They've generally been below Huddersfield before and since. (twitter.com/HTFConline/status/971821231300403200) - Check out @ska reggae’s comment under this video for some more great info. - Additionally, @Bradley Dearnley's comment below adds that Huddersfield have been to the FA Cup final 5 times & the club had the first player to ever score directly from a corner.
Official name for the supporters used to be the Cowshed Boys. Now known as The Cowshed Loyal. The name Cowshed came about in the early 70's, as here in Yorkshire we don't pronounce our H's. In our dialect we pronounce it as Uddersfield. So Udders = cows = Cowshed.
ska reggae i always presumed it was the old leeds road stand that looked like a cowshed and because of all the cows on the outskirts of town..good to learn some info.cheers.
First team to score an extra time golden goal,Ian Dunn against Lincoln in 1994,also the only team to win all 3 divisional playoff finals, drawing each game 0-0 and winning each on penalties.when we beat Sheffield United in 2012 we won after missing our first 3 penalties, another record.Goalkeeper Matt Glennon saved 3 penalties ina game versus Crewe at the Galpharm Stadium as it was known at the time, this I believe is also a record.
Hi Simon! Thanks for the support. I still check these comments regularly. I don’t have much time to make videos unfortunately right now. I will definitely add Barnsley to my list but no idea when I’ll get to them. Sorry about that but I truly appreciate the support and thanks again for submitting the request! 🍻
Hi Kevin. I have them on my list but I unfortunately don’t have much time to work on the channel anymore. I hope to be back at some point in the future. If I do, La Liga is definitely on my list of leagues to do. Thanks for the support 🍻

This is fantastic. Thanks for all the additional info and for checking out the video 👍
To be honest, that part of the old Leeds Road ground resembled an actual cowshed, hence the name.

Did Huddersfield have a for the losing fa cup final 5 times in under 15 years
We are the first club to win the first division 3 times in a row. Still to this day has not been broken
True! 🍻
If you see this could you do Barnsley please. I've been a fan of them my whole life and have a history

The record signing is Terence kongolo
Thanks for the update. We recorded the video in February 2018, before Kongolo was signed.
Oh sos
Patrick stewart aka professor X (or Picard) is arguably the biggest celebrity fan of the terriers.
