Special thanks to Twitter user @booko67 (twitter.com/booko67/status/973281662846062592) for pointing out that Fosse is pronounced "Foss," not Fossy and Wyggeston is pronounced "Wiggeston". Also, thanks to Twitter user @brucenadin (twitter.com/brucenadin/status/973283397559824389) for this additional info: the club was formed by a Bible Study group linked to Baptist Church in the City which met in a Garden shed on Fosse Road.
I was going to comment on the Wyggeston and Fosse pronunciations... never heard of Wyggeston but surely a double g wouldn't make a j sound? And why on Earth would the e at the end of Fosse be pronounced at all, yet alone with that hard "ee" sound. Surely, if you were going to pronounce it, it would be an "uh". I dunno man, you lot over the pond, you always amaze me with your inability to pronounce English place names. It's like you don't speak the same language. But you do. I don't mean to offend, and it's certainly not personal. It just baffles me.
One of our greatest ever players was Frank Worthington. An elegant, skilful crowd pleasing maverick "playboy" from the early 1970s. Full of flair and outrageous ball skills. He sadly passed away last week.
It would have been good to mention Filbert Street Which was their old ground for more than a century and also Martin O Neill one of Leicester’s greatest managers in the late 90s early 2000s who won silverware for them too
Hey Adam. So happy you like my channel! Unfortunately, I’m going through some personal things and have had to pause on making new videos, but I hope to be back sometime in the future. If/when I come back, I’ll be sure to make a video on Derby County 🍻

Leicester City fan here. I've supported them since 1961 through thick and thin - mainly thin. A very good and well researched video. Thanks!!
Thanks so much John! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video 🍻
