These look dope. One of the one things I regretted was not getting the LP on my 2015. Might have to look into grabbing a set of these.

For the vertical adjustment, there is a yellow colored adjuster directly at the back, up high, on the low beam side of the headlight housing. it doesn't look like a a normal serrated adjuster.

Just ordered these, really tired of my halogens. They look great and hopefully the quality is great as well.
Can't go wrong with BMP, especially when offered with the limited lifetime warranty.
After years of consideration, and not being fully sold on the MK7 styled headlights, I finally have decided to pick up a pair of new headlights for my 2017 MK7 GTI S! The MK7.5 styling is what sold me, and then to have BMPTuning provide them with LED and direct plug n’ play, I knew I had to get them.
I have worked very hard with school, and I just got accepted into the Nursing Program, and tonight I decided to reward myself with a purchase of these awesome headlights from BMPTuning. After long consideration, I committed to the Golf R chrome styled ones, and went with the Ceramic coating option. I chose the Golf R style because everyone and their Mom has the red stripe ones, and o wanted to be different. I was lucky to be able to see that BMP had the exact ones I wanted in stock. 2 left. Bought them and can’t wait for them to arrive!

Love the lights. But how do I aim the beam a bit down ? Is it the yellow small looking knob on the top of the headlight?

Just installed the silver stripe version on my 2018 Alltrack SE non-LP yesterday after about 10-week backorder. They look amazing and all is truly plug and play, worked instantly, no coding needed, no dash errors. The actual headlights were really easy to remove (old) and install new. Did need to move two grommets per headlight from the old to new for the long T30 bolts to go into, but that was very straightforward too. Hardest part --> definitely the bumper!! I don't think this was just my admittedly very novice non-experience (I've literally only replaced vehicle light bulbs in the past!), but I'm pretty sure the grille doesn't come off for the mk7.5 (at least not the alltrack) the way it does super easy in the video (and other videos) for the golf/gti. I did find some other comments online (after struggling with this) that stated the same that it's a different design. Ended up not removing the grille at all as I was able to remove the bumper with grille still intact, though there is some kind of electronics behind the VW grille logo (maybe for collision assistance?) that I didn't want to mess with so had to work with what little slack the wire had to play with, so just set bumper on some crates in front of car with wire still attached. Worked fine. Only other thing was that there is a very small gap between the outside edge/corner of the headlight and the fender trim piece. The OEM and BMP headlights have a rubber piece in that area designed to seal the joint between fender and headlight housing. For the OEM one before I removed it from the car, the gap was there but very very small. After installing the new lights, I tried loosening/adjusting/retightening the various headlight bolts but was unable to get the gap down to the size it was with the OEM one. Not sure if it is a tolerance issue or just an artifact of removing the bumper and putting something new on. Any ideas? I'm still talking a very small gap, but water can definitely seep in though I guess it's just going into the open space under the hood down there so isn't really an issue?? Sorry for the droning on, just thinking out loud at this point! - and all work made more character building by doing this in a detached unheated garage during the Minnesota winter, though I picked a "warm" day as it was high 20s!
Did they come with all bulbs included (low, high)? Did you consider to install BEC instead of BMP?
@@GeorgyGobozov Yes, all bulbs (low, high, DRL) included. As for BEC, the old Ed's replicas are discontinued. FAS Tuning does have what looks at my cursory first glance to be the exact same thing, but since I had been watching and thinking about these types of aftermarkets for some time and since they are often out of stock, when I saw them available I quickly pulled the trigger. No regrets!
As one more piece of info, neither these nor any others that are similar that I have seen have the permanent orange side markers built into the housings at the outer edge as required by most if not all state regs in the US (or it might be US DOT regs). I am not concerned about it at all, but it is within the realm of possibility that one could get pulled over and ticketed for this. It is my understanding that European regs don't require this, which is maybe why they aren't built into any of these.
These are an absolute flex to have. Will the connectors on these lights fit on a 19' mk7.5 facelift?
Yes as long as you are NON LP from the factory!
I see that the grill is still the original one that came with the old headlights, do your 7.5 style lights match up with the grill red stripe? Or are my eyes deceiving me?
They would not line up perfectly with a non LP grille, but its close.
These were really easy to install. Need a adjustment vid. Also did a fmic while the bumper was off

Hey. I have a gti mk7 sport and I needed to get some headlights so I went with this way and bought a uplift headlight that are compatible with my car. However, when lights came in, I realized that my car is a 14 pin connector and the lights came with 10 pin connector. Any magic I can do to make it work? This video didn’t include how you connected the lights and if they matched so I am wondering if anyone else ran into this problem.
All aftermarket headlights are designed for cars without LP, if you have LP these will not work :(
How do I adjust the headlights? I keep having this weird z pattern in both light beams. I can’t get rid of it and it leaves my driver side view very dark.

got a question i recently purchased a 2015 MK7 Golf R i’m wanting to upgrade the headlights with the ones in the video i was told they may need “coding” ? if so what’s the purpose of “coding” and what do i need to have these properly installed and functional.
There is no coding necessary on our headlights!

I have a 2017 GTI SE trim with the nicer headlights then the ones on this gti prior to the upgrade. Do the mk7.5 lights still have that adaptive light function, meaning like when u move the steering wheel around the lights shift around on a swivel ?

@@damiansereni5600 They are replica OE LP headlights, so they do not function like LP headlights would as they do not have the controllers/wiring/etc. since they are made for cars without it :D
@@damiansereni5600 it means that they only work for cars without the lighting package. Since you have the nicer headlights already, these headlights won’t fit your car. Sorry :)

I have a 2017 Golf R. Do you have the MK7.5 Golf R LED headlights available? What part number is it? Is it plug and play since stock MK7 Golf R has HID headlights?

Just got mine installed them but it seems like the housing where the lights sit are loose the lights vibrate and I can see it when I’m driving down the road is that normal? Or did I receive a faulty set ?

How do you adjust them ? People be flashing me all the time. I have my low beams on.
There are two adjustment screws on the back, one for horizontal and one for vertical - be sure when adjusting to do it at night/dark location around 15ish feet from a wall to align them. Do NOT over adjust or you will break the internals - go slowly and youll get it dialed in!
Can these be installed on cars with the lighting package?
Unfortunately they can’t with full functionality

They should work on any non LP MK7, only thing to consider for ROW is light pattern since it’s designed for LHD cars

It would be nice to have the same full led light system from osram on this headlights. It is always those led bulbs with fan that makes to much noise

does these headlights have full led? i mean low light high lights?
The low beam projectors are Bi-LED, meaning they control both high and low beams and are full LED! Some variants have an inner auxiliary high beam in addition, which can have an LED or Halogen installed depending on a few different variables. How do you adjust the low beams?

@@BMPTuning I could use that how to video. I need to lower my driver’s side low beam and turning the adjustment screw on the top doesn’t seem to do anything. Can’t reach the bottom one. I assumed one screw was for left/right and the other up/down but maybe I’ve been moving just my high beam this whole time.

Yes, you will just have to select the option for MK7.5 when adding to your cart! Then you will have to select wether you would want red or chrome stripe! Currently preorders for the next batch are open!

I currently have a 2020 MK7.5 GTI S that come standard with halogen low and high beams. Then my daytimes are LED. I just want to make sure I get everything before I place any orders. I do look forward to purchasing a pair of these headlights, but just want to make sure that all I need is just to order the headlights for them to work.

Now do a video explaining how to properly adjust them . I keep getting the high beams flashed at me . Everyone on the forums would like to know where they should be set at .
Everyone will want to set them at different heights depending on your own vehicles ride height... generally speaking you should use something like a garage door though (10-15 feet back) and the center line should be around 3.5 feet from the ground :D
@@BMPTuning What about the cutoff pattern what should that look like how far apart should the cutoff be and horizontal adjustments? That should be the same for all cars right. Purchased and installed and constantly getting flashed. Any help would be appreciated. Love the brightness and look just want to be safe and courteous to other drivers. Ho
@@s.l3482 Absolutely understand - yes it should be the same! I would try what I suggested first and take a look, they might just be a little too high if you didnt adjust when installing!
Any luck? I'm literally mid install right now. I marked the cutoff of the stock halogens on the back of my garage door with a dry erase marker before removing them and I'm planning to align the illuminators to those marks

Best to place an order while you can! There usually always sold out before they're even done being assembled!
I understand that LEDs are expected to last the lifetime of the the vehicle but there is still a chance of failure. Are the LEDs of these headlights user-replaceable? Also, I personally prefer light color in the 5000K (neutral white) instead of the blue-ish 6500K.
Not replaceable. Although 99% of all led headlight bulbs aren’t replaceable anyway from the factory.
@@moheel7022 thanks for the confirmation. I figured that would be the case. I just hope the LEDs on these headlights went through a good QC process to prevent premature failures.
