@@AcquisitionCapitalistShe does not look like she had any botox or fillers. The "28-yearold lizard" Bill Burr made a bit about. No, she has some miniscule signs of aging, congruent to her age, that anyone that would risk knife procedures, certainly would easily have fixed with botox injections.
Susana Hoffs is a Lady. Which all four had been there, love Simon and Garfunkel but the Bangles version took it to another level, and acoustic or electric one of the best guitar riffs ever.
Betty Rubble, Mary Anne from Gilligan's Island, and Susanna Hoffs, the crushes of my youth. The girl next door with curves and just the right amount of attitude!😊
Wow, great version of a great song, and I never tire of hearing it. True dit, I saw The Bangles, early nineties maybe, at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK, I'd just left school I think. Anyway, there were in a big line up including The Waterboys, The Cult, and Simple Minds were headlining. The Cult were on before The Bangles, and the crowd had been drinking, it was a warm summers day, and started throwing plastic bottles filled with water (with the tops off) at the stage. Anyway, The Cult got fed up and left the stage in a hissy fit. The Bangles came on, and they got the same treatment, and Susanna and the rest of the girls just picked those bottles up and chucked them back without missing a beat! 😂After that I had even more respect for them, that they were tougher than a bunch of blokes who thought they were "edgy".
I picked out that song on my guitar as a kid, had no idea it was Paul Simon. That riff is really enjoyable to play and that guitarist is amazingly tight. Not one dull note, not one note off beat. Not crazy about Telecasters, but this set up had an excellent tone.
Would've been nice to see Paul Simon's reaction to her performance. Watching the Led Zep-ers watching the Dixie Chicks do Stairway to Heaven was as entertaining as their performance. The Bangles did this soo well.
63? She looks late 30's/early 40's! The Bangles version is so crankable! The drums sound so angry. I spend all day doing x-rays on seniors so I am well aware of what is old looking.
One of the best songs of the Bangles imo. It's not the most commercial song but very uplifting and rebelious. This song is also used as title song for the movie: Less Than Zero.....!
C'mon..get real. I love The Bangles but even in their hey day, no way in hell could they have handled the sheer work schedule of Taylor Swift considering The Bangles only played a total of 217 concerts ( including overseas) in their total career where as Taylor has already amassed 842 concerts ( including overseas) and has still a long way to go. And anyway, as Susanna would tell you herself, you dont build one female artist by tearing down another...
@@James-wj8eq Suzanna wouldn't tell me that. Taylor couldn't play the guitar and sing to that level. It was a very different standard of performer in the 80's. Now, there's zero competition.
I'm three months older than Susanna, but look twenty years older! She still makes my heart throb! I'm a huge fan of Paul Simon and wanted to hate this cover when it came out, but how can you? It's brilliant!
Yeah, well Susanna has a voice for rock. It's kind of sad she didn't do more music like this. Look up her version of Feels Like Makin Love that she did shortly after the Bangles broke up, I promise you'll want to smoke a cigarette after even if you're not a smoker, LOL Taylor Swifts voice benefits from....how to put this subtly...modern recording techniques. I'm not talking auto-tune but Taylor definitely is not a vocalist who performs without her highly paid sound guy manning a sound board. Susanna sounds just as good, and usually better, live than she does in recordings. But most vocalists from her generation do as well. Technology couldn't modify things on the fly back then the way it can now.
Anyone else in love with Susanna back in the 80’s?
Is there anyone who didn't?
Hell, I'm still in love with her. She's right in my 60-something wheelhouse.
I would say more "in lust" with her.
Who fell out of love with her?
The 80s? Shit, I'm in love with her now.
I had the biggest crush on her in the mid 80s at 16 years old! She's still beautiful and uber talented. What a gal!
I hear you mate she was and is still 👍
What a gal? Where did you buy your time machine?
Me too ❤
Ditto
@XLBiker13 well if I had a crush on her in the 80s at 16, I'm staring at 57 years old today....so my entire body is a time capsule
She is still gorgeous!
Oh my GOD she still GORGEOUS after all these years!!!! Immortal Goddess at 63....
She's just stunning.
I'm 62 and she still has my heart. Good grief she's beautiful.
I am 62 also and she kinda makes me sick - I look like a wreck next to her - like I could be her father. Just not fair for her to still be so hot.
Holy-smoke, what a beautiful performance. ❤❤❤
Good lord, that woman is in her 60's?! She is still gorgeous!
The miracles of plastic surgery, no?
she does look 20-30 years younger than that. Crazy.

Always beautiful ❤️
Drinking the red kool aid on private islands will make you look young again
I was in love with Susanna when I was in college. She still looks amazing to this day. Wow. Still in love. ❤️🥰
She’s still beautiful and still sounds great. We all had a crush on her back in the day! 😍
Lol you're not alone
Damn straight we did. God she's still so sexy.
The song is beautiful and timeless hey just like Ms. Hoffs. Rock on fair lady :)
jesues. Wow she just brought back the 80s for me. Her voice has only gotten better. Wow. Magnificento

Like fine wine.
My favorite cover song ever.
One of the few songs that exceeds the original version. ❤
My god she still looks fantastic, Susanna doesn't look like she's out of her 40s.❤🔥
Still a stunner 🤩
Love their cover
The Hoffs hop is still there!
Still completely stunning!❤❤❤❤
Had the biggest crush on her as a kid, beautiful, talented, some people are just born to be icons.
Betty Rubble, Mary Anne from Gilligan's Island, and Susanna Hoffs, the crushes of my youth.
The girl next door with curves and just the right amount of attitude!😊
Always in my fantasies.
The years have been kind to her.
Still absolutely stunning. Loved the bangles
I love this song!
The Hoffs head bang is still there as well!
Still a great song all of these years later.
Aged like a fine fine wine
Timeless beauty Timeless Talent❤
still beautiful

What a dish!!!!!
Yes, impeccable!
She’s still got it!
Fabulous lady.
Just great.

Beautiful lady, lovely voice, very nice rickenbacker, and a tuna fest in the audience.
❤️
SHE IS 65 YEARS OLD!!!!! How is that possible?!
❤❤❤
Would've been nice to see Paul Simon's reaction to her performance. Watching the Led Zep-ers watching the Dixie Chicks do Stairway to Heaven was as entertaining as their performance. The Bangles did this soo well.
No way in hell she is 63? Did she go into a time capsule in 1986?
I wanted to say that she looks half her age! Took it from her mom. 🙂
The sexiest side eye in the business. Period!
She aged incredibly well. She looks great!
You still w🎉onderful

She looks amazing. Cannot believe she is in her 60s.
She does not age.
She hasn't lost a step.
She looks 30 years younger and still sounds like she did back in the day. Amazing.
Definitely missing Vicki on that lead guitar
Still a smokeshow 🔥🔥😎
Susanna you look smart!
She aged very gracefully!

Still super cute
life is like the running of the bulls
It looked like a couple of folks from the band were in the audience, or was I just seeing things?
!!!!!!!!🤘😝
NNNIIIIIIIIIICCCCCEE!!!!!!!! FUCKING ROCKING .......... JEEEEZUSSS
DAMN .......... 😝🤘!!!!!!!!
Good lord. 🥵
She looks so different without the big 80's hair.
This and "all along the watchtower" by Hendrix are probably some of the few covers that way outdid the original!
Inversion?
There’s never been a better looking 60 year old woman.
Just damn. Still fine as hell.
Love to see Taylor Swift try this. Couldn't handle it.

uhhh, 63 at the time of this recording? what...the....fuck?
serious guitar and grrrrrrrrl crush....
I love it but without the harmonies it just not right for me.
There are there voices missing and it’s glaring.
Eat your heart out, Madonna... 😁
the hell she's 63. she still looks 30
She and Madonna are 5 months apart. Pretty obvious who's aged more gracefully.
@@kroft6799 true that
Time definitely is marching slowly for this lovely lady. 😁🤙🏻🤙🏻
Not even hardly moving at all.
She doesn’t age
Gillian Shagwell has def aged gracefully
I just needed Susanna to throw that patented side eye glance so I could’ve melted. 40 years later and I’m still crushing on this woman.
Me too. God she is still so gorgeous.
Well-deserved standing ovation. She doesn't need auto-tune or pre-recorded tracks. Just give her a good band and let her rock.
God she is still so beautiful!! And talented!
She is only 63 in this performance.
That smile that knows. Absolutely nailed it!
Stunning rendition. Susanna's talent has matured magnificently.
Damn! She still looks gorgeous at 63!
I was a teen in the Army when this came out, and here she is, still lovely and still rocking out.
I'm three months older than Susanna, but look twenty years older! She still makes my heart throb!
I'm a huge fan of Paul Simon and wanted to hate this cover when it came out, but how can you? It's brilliant!

I'm 12 years YOUNGER, and I too look 20 years older than her
@@thatguyagain2693 This actually makes me feel better! 🤣
Money and Botox tends to do that, doesn't hurt that she was beautiful to begin with though.@@thatguyagain2693

Always adored Susannah Hoffs, great voice and timeless beauty and I share the same birthday too 😀
Same...
One of the most beautiful rockers ever. End of list.
Still givin' "that look". Wonderful.
Now that’s how to entertain a crowd! Absolutely love it ❤❤👍👍
63? She looks better than most 30-ish chicks I know!!! Susanna Hoffs is gorgeous!!!
How dare she look and play that well all these years later! Totally awesome!
Said perfectly
one of the best songs on the Less Than Zero soundtrack!
Yes, and a shit movie. I hated it.
Too bad we didn't get to see the Peterson Sisters and Michael Steele. Would have made it Perfect.
Susanna Hoffs has been on the Rick Springfield juice, she's totally frozen in time.
I miss the 80’s
The 80s will live on as theee best decade. The 21st century and most of it's music sucks.
Love your way... Susannna...keep doing your magic of music, beauty and poise...lots of admiration!
I grew up wuth Susanna in the radio, Closing my Eyes.
Her eye roll in Walk like an Egyptian. 🤤🤤🤤
She is still a goddess. 😍😍😍
Also Manic Monday 😫😫😫😫
Susanna Hoffs 4 ever. That is all.

I couldn't have said it better, well done!
I always thought she was hot in the 80's, but holy smokes she's smoking hot at this age!!!
Bloody oath..she's looking more gorgeous with age.
She’s always been an attractive woman with an attractive voice.
All these years and both still stand true. 👍 ❤️
I was never a huge Bangles fan, but that is how you do a cover. They rocked it.
Still have The Bangles debut album on vinyl...taking that to my afterlife
