Oh my goodness, Darrell Brooks was not "embarrassed" by the video!!! He loved it. He even said while they were playing it, "I wish I could hear it now!" He was PROUD of his video, not embarrassed. He was upset because they proved it was him in the stillshot. He didn't think they could prove it -- but they did.

Also, the many children that were physically injured! The injuries were very extensive and lifelong!!! Even one of the injured is enough, but there were soooo many!!!! These poor kids will have physical damage and fragile outcomes for life especially as they age in many cases with no monetary compensation for their lifetime physical difficulties.

I feel Darell is absolutely loving this! He is out of jail, in normal clothes, having breakfast, lunch and dinner in the court, reading books and being very important! It’s driving me crazy how he thinks HE is running the whole “ show”! Unbelievable! I completely understand that the court is trying VERY hard to give him a fair trial……. But wow, he pushes it beyond my patience 😮

I loved how Darrell just couldn't resist the bait of trying to somehow cause doubt that it was him in the still shot of the music video. He opened the door for the video to be played. LOL. And I don't agree that Attorney Opper thought Judge Dorow wasn't doing well. Attorney Opper said she appreciated Judge Dorow for what she was doing and admitted she (and they) knew why she had chosen to go the route she had with his case. I could be wrong, but it seems to me like Judge Dorow did everything in her power to make sure there wasn't a mistrial and next to none chance of a successful appeal.
I think Judge Dorow was brilliant. She managed to stroke his ego enough that he really thought he had the upper hand, then shatter his ego by executing the law, knowing his pride would be his downfall.

My interpretation of his tears are: They are just as real as an actor who thinks of personal experience in hardship and sadness to portray a scene. So, they are real, and there is definitely sorrow felt, but it's all from a selfish position: his family, friends and how that means to himself. I honestly don't believe he actually, at least currently, cares about the community. The interrogation videos and the way he's conducted himself shows his disregard of emotion to what he did and centered on himself.

I believe not stopping and asking a cop to direct him off of the parade route was WILLFUL! Continuing down the parade route was WILLFUL! Aiming the SUV to be in the path of people was WILLFUL! Driving at 33 MPH was WILLFUL because that involves a WILLFUL act to have the foot push down on the accelerator! This was not a case where his brakes were not working. Him continuing down the parade route with his brakes not working, I believe would be disregard for human life. Him driving into a telephone pole or a street light or into an unoccupied police squad car or any unoccupied car would be appropriate if the brakes were not working. But the brake were working.

    • @autistic-lutheran-carnivore
      @autistic-lutheran-carnivore Рік тому +10

@@Arminsaf2 It wasn't just that. Many other parts of this show that these were WILLFUL decisions Darrell Brooks made, not to disregard human life, but actively to end human life. If I am at Summerfest (hypothetical), close my eyes, and shoot a gun in random directions, I believe that is disregard for human life. However, if I took the same gun, w/ my eyes open, aiming and random people and then shooting these random people, I am intently committing murder. So, why didn't Darrell Brooks have intent when he purposefully and willful aimed his vehicle at people instead of stopping at an earlier part of the parade route and following police instructions on how to get off the parade route?

I think he was pissed at his Ex baby-mamma and was taking it out on the car/road. When he got to the parade his anger was at a fever pitch and he just decided to take it out on the people in the parade. After he hit his first person I think it shows intent. He knew what he was doing, especially after the first person he hit, he didn't stop his car. He intentionally continued to drive down that road and hit those people. That is intent to me.

I'm an empath, to my own detriment a lot of the time... yet it is SO clear to me that the opening statement was an act. Nothing more, nothing less. I agree those might be real tears... for HIMSELF, since it is finally being impressed upon him that he is going to jail for the rest of his life. We have all seen how he speaks and acts in court, being so extremely and unnecessarily rude to the judge, that many of us are cringing and can barely watch. Even though most of us love some courtroom fireworks! This is beyond all that, he has completely crossed the line and although I truly respected this judge (and still do, as I could NEVER display this level of patience), I do believe she has let him get over on her. Specifically when he gives his little speech about "no one's gonna tell me to do anything. I'm a grown man"...That would've been the end of it for me, as the judge. She can still protect his rights, but absolutely should've made it known right there and then, that he will do what she TELLS him to do, and she does not have to ask him for things like he's doing her a favor by complying with her minimal requests of him. Great video as always!

I guarantee Brooks knew about the parade and where it was. It’s impossible not to. The car was driven into the parade with no stopping or slowing down. It’s been proven the car wasn’t faulty. It’s been proven it’s him. His name is proven. The car is proven to belong to his mom etc.

When I watch the trial I can’t even focus on him because every time I see him it makes my skin crawl. Especially when he makes eye contact with the camera or opens his mouth enough to show his teeth, it’s like watching guts spoil out. 🥴🤮

@@TenTenJhis physical appearance is so creepy to me. His tiny little ears and tiny hands and big hugs head. He looks like a demented pitbull. Even the dainty way he moves his hands is gross

How can any serious person think that he “ didn’t mean to” do what he did? Someone please explain this. He would’ve stop after he hit the first couple of people if it wasn’t intentional. He wouldn’t of killed 6, and wounded 62 people! If it was an accident. You can’t be serious.

I think many people are saying that *possibly* the first person wasn’t intentional. But the following ones….most likely intentional.

With regard to intent, according to Wisconsin law he only had to be AWARE, that his or her conduct is practically certain to cause that result. Code 939.23 sub 3. Hitting someone with a vehicle and/or running over them proves this aspect of Intent.

He’s never served real time for any of his crimes. He gets a slap on the wrist each time. I think he blames Erica for this and if he didn’t see her then this wouldn’t have happened. That’s what he said in the interview with the detective.

So I didn’t understand at first why Kirby said he knew of DB a week prior and Kirby told EP it was a bad idea for her to meet up with DB…
But now I understand it’s b/c DB ran over EP with the same red SUV and broke her leg a week prior
