I got a chance to ride my first E Bike at RideBHM Alabama's 1st ever Downhill Bike Park, but it's a pedal access bike park. This bike would be perfect to tow people to the top of peak 1, and 2. Everyone isn't a fan of E Bikes, but I believe that we can find a use for every style of bike out there depending on where you live. I see people out on bikes like this all the time around Memphis, TN.
Awesome!! I agree that every bike has a good use of some sort, glad to hear you think the same!
Thanks for rutting out a wet, muddy trail with your bike (instead of waiting for it to dry a bit). Doesnt matter ebike or not, trail builders (including myself) are face palming right now. You'd have gotten a better overall feel of the bike on a drier trail anyway.
I am a trail builder myself, and guess what! You can't keep people off the trail if it's a multi-use trail( saw a hiker on that trail in the vid ) if it was a trail for mountain bike use only, and designated as such by a trail alliance, then yes keep off the muddy trails, but as it wasn't stated in the video, then don't give this dude a hard time riding his bike
How many miles i can go on one charge on throttle only on regular flat streets ?
U have an outlet here in d phillipines i
E bikes on mountain bike trails are bad in so many ways. I’m surprised you would be encouraging people to use an e bike for this purpose. They are much heavier and will cause more trail damage. The throttle allows someone to go faster than they or the trail can handle. The brakes are often designed for traditional bikes so stopping distance will increase with the added weight and speed.
I haven't seen any concrete research that suggests ebikes damage trails any more than regular bikes do, but I may be wrong and would appreciate any links to articles if you have any. I am aware that bikes in general damage trails, so that is a valid point, but these trails allow mountain bikes. I did caution on using the throttle and was trying my best to be safe about that.
gtfo I see 200+lb, 250+ ppl all the damn time but now a bike that weighs 40lbs more than a regular mtb is an issue... why does it seem like u are just trying to find every little thing to not allow ebikes please go away ebikes will take over wether u like it or not
@@TalalipopMTB A dam magicycle deer wont damage a trail lol crazy nobby tires with alot of power will
Yeah I was thinking the same thing about rider weight as well; adding 40 pounds on the bike vs on the rider should be similar
