    Your obviously you in San Diego Ca, I bought one of these and am very happy with it, its a true city commuter, don't knock that, I have to go over rail road tracks, curbs, pot holes and this bikes full suspension is excellent. The full fenders are good too, if you ridden to work on wet days, without those fenders your arrive covered in mud, having full fenders, full suspension, 52 volt battery, plus built in lights and big diameter tires is why I got the bike, it has a fast, 20mph average for me (Which is a fast safe commuting ride). A few things that I did was raise the handle bars, the stock goose neck sucks; the optional front rack holds my lunch perfect; the rear suspension is a little soft but works great, diffiintely worth the extra money if you plan to commute to work. My daily trip to work is 14 miles round trip up two giant 6% grade hills, and this bike handles the daily abuse very well with 80% battery available at the end of my ride. Over all its the first ebike I've owned that is fast enough and comfortable enough to replace my car or motorcycle. I wish it had an option to put a motor in the front wheel too for advanced riders. By the way, the shifter will need to be adjust after about the first week of riding, not hard to do. I'm 6' and 230lbs plus my lunch and backpack add another 20lbs, so it can pull a good load.

    Thanks for the review. I’m new to e-bikes and looking to get my first one. I’m 6ft tall at 215 pounds. This one is looking pretty good and in my price range too.

    lovely bike, only your seating position is not good. your legs doesn't extend thus making bicycling not nice riding it

      @BTheInstaller  Рік тому

      To extend my legs further, I don't like barely touching the ground. I feel pretty good on them.

      Reggy: I agree, seat position is too low, can cause early leg fatigue.

    I follow the Inja on you tube and he builds electric motorcycles and tests out electric bikes all the time. I don't think anyone has sent him this one to test but it seems like a great bike for the money. Like you said you can pay stupid money for top end, big battery, super fast electric bikes. A lot of the cheaper ones don't usually include full suspension either.
    Good job on the review👍

      I think he has done a comparison with a Magicycle and predicted it would be faster and it was. I'm pretty sure it was him.

      @@BTheInstaller I'm sure we're talking about the same guy, once they realized he was serious and had a growing following they all started sending him all kinds of electric bikes and scooters. He does all kinds of stuff and rebuilds auction cars for himself too.
      I can't remember if he did that bike but he probably did considering how many he's bought or they sent him. I think I'd rather review electronics but I like and deal with just about anything with a motor or electronics in it.

    For the same trail do you recommend the 20 inch Deer ad well? I'm not a fan of more weight..... Plus the lower center gravity could be beneficial off road?

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  10 місяців тому

      I feel like the larger tires are better for uneven ground. 20 inch seem to bounce around a little. But 24 or 26 for sure amazing.

    Make sure you understand the small print on the warranty on a magicycle before buying one I didnt realize till my display had issues. And if you buy accessories dont buy them from magicycle cause you will have to wait a very long time to get them. Im still waiting over 1 month on the handlebar risers that have to come from China but they charged my credit card the same day i ordered the part

    I would still buy an Ariel Rider Kepler for $1,799. Suspension seat post upgrade and a new softer seat was what I did.. Even faster bike with pretty much the same quality. But the Deer is pretty cool 😎✌

      Exactly, is there a forum or some community where kepler owners can connect? Maybe a rider club or something?
