I'm an old newbie. I've been crocheting for 40 years but self taught. My mother taught me how to make a single row and that was it. I taught myself how to turn and begin a second row. I dont know the lingo AT ALL but I taught myself a pattern that confuses everyone 🤦♀️😄 but I get compliments all the time. I finally decided I should learn the right way. I bought a book, opened it, then closed it and said it should be written in a foreign language because I don’t understand it haha. UA-cam here i come! I learned 1 beautiful pattern but wanted to learn more. I wanted simple but pretty and elegant, I wanted it to be simple but look complex...... and BOOM here you are! This pattern along with your excellent teaching, is so easy!! I love it! Thank you so much! And the INVISIBLE KNOT😱😲🤯 MIND BLOWING MAGIC! THANK YOU!

I needed a quick pattern to make a small throw for a friend, and the Sugar Plum Fairy is perfect! It’s definitely a weekend project and so easy. I wanted to start the base row with HDC stitches all the way across instead of the pattern. To do that, only 101 sts are cast on instead of 102. When I finish the throw, I’ll crochet the last row with HDC sts all the way across, just like row 1. I’m using HL “I Love This Chunky” yarn in the Herb Garden variegated color, and you’re right - it’s SO soft! I used your invisible knot all through the project, too. That sure made things easier! Thanks for giving us such a fun, easy project!
I love how thorough you are with different sizes and yardage needed. I have noticed a lot of patterns don’t include what yarn they used to make their particular blanket or what brand they used or how much. Thank you for your extra work to help us out.
I am a self taught crocheter . For many years all I could make was the rippled stitch blanket . Believe me I made many , I really enjoy relaxing and crochet at my age. I have learned so much from your videos and teaching ! I also have watched many videos on the Invisible Knot and couldn’t do it . Finally I am able to make the Invisible knot because of your teaching and video ! ❤ Thank you for all your tutorial !! My next project is this blanket for sure ❤

My blanket is turning out really pretty so far. I decided to use a super chunky yarn that recommends a 10mm (UK) hook. It's working up fast. I've chosen a pale silver grey and the stitch definition is more obvious - I like it. I'm left handed, but have found this video really easy to follow because of the stitch repeat, the knot section was helpful too 😀

Beautiful! I only wish you shared the blanket chart at the beginning of the video. ❤️ it’s at 17:27. So you can see how many skeins of yarn you need, how many chains and rows, based on your desired blanket size.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone hold the yarn in their left hand as you do. Seems so awkward but, as my mom told me, to each his/her own. I'm definitely going to give this blanket a try. It's lovely.
I actually converted this pattern to smaller sizes to make a scarf. I added a couple tassels at the end and boom- scarf. Thank you so much for this pattern. Love your videos 🥰

i made this in a small size 16 x 20 inches for my sisters ailing cat and it came out great. I added a hdc border on three sides to match the first row. I will probably make more for a local cat shelter. Thanks for sharing it.

What a great video, well done Tiffany! You're adorable and am just trying to decide what size to start making for my granddaughters. I love the color and the yarn. Thanks for sharing and especially for your chart (clearly a labor of love)! Blessings!
OMG, Tiffany! I was just about to search for a video tutorial for my sister who wants to crochet a throw blanket IN PURPLE YARN, and up pops this video! Thanks so much for the chart at the end of the video, too.
Mind blown on that knot joining a new skin of yarn. I dont know why I've never done this before! Lol no more projects coming loose on this chick! Thankyou! 😃
You have made a great video here. Your instructions and the placement of the camera showing your technique are spot on. I used to crochet and knit many years ago. I’m now 72 and heard about the Pioneer Woman’s new bulky yarn, and this might be the perfect pattern for that yarn. I was always confused about the end of row and where the next stitch was for new row. You cleared that confusion up! Thank you for clear, concise video.

your joining of yarns is an easier way to understand it, for my brain. thanks
I actually converted this pattern to smaller sizes to make a scarf. I added a couple tassels at the end and boom- scarf. Thank you so much for this pattern. Love your videos 🥰
I'm a beginner and I'm making this for my mom's birthday this was very easy to follow thank you ☺️
Did you use the same thickness crochet hook ? It seems quite thick for the yarn used?
I make crochet blankets for babies. I also make table napkins with a crochet border plus I also make shawls and chair blankets.
Crochet is a wonderful craft would encourage anyone to learn.
With the Internet tjere is so much to learn.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the invisible knot and especially for your pattern and blanket sizes, yards needed and numbers of starting chains. Very helpful.
Beautiful blanket. That's the easiest way I've seen for an invisible knot. Thank you.

I’m making this blanket next I’m finishing up a blanket right now and this one is next. But I’m hoping on here to say you taught me that invisible knot trick and I want to say I use it all the time now. It’s amazing and I love it so much. Thank you for teaching me this trick it works so much better then trying to hide a knot or any other way it’s my go to trick always.
Hi Maggie! That is so great! It is my go to trick also. I love sharing it with others. 😊🧡🧶
LOVE THIS BLANKIE, LOVE THE COLOR. BEAUTIFUL BABY BLANKIE
i made this in a small size 16 x 20 inches for my sisters ailing cat and it came out great. I added a hdc border on three sides to match the first row. I will probably make more for a local cat shelter. Thanks for sharing it.

I’m so glad I watched this, I only do grant stitch and I don’t care for I’m going to try this, doesn’t look that hard but I need to keep count.

I love the way you made the insensible knot
Thanks for the chart. Hdc is my go to stitch. Think this would also make a fantastic soft scarf.🤗

I've never seen that invisible join before! Cool.
I love it and it is easy
LOOOVEEE THE INVISIBLE KNOT...never knew we could do that. Thanks for that hint.
Thank you Tiffany! I am excited to do this blanket and I have just tried the knot and it worked perfect. Also, I am left handed and I worked your granny square last night and was so happy!!!
That is the easiest, best invisible knot ever!
Your tutorial is wonderful & easy to follow! I’m currently on my third row & it is coming out so beautiful! I did use a 4 weight and a smaller hook - but I’m very pleased so far!
I'm using 4 weight also but can't decide on hook so I'm trying a couple foot a few rows. What size did you try
This is a great pattern. The invisible knot is amazing. Thank you Tiffany
I watched the first 90 seconds of this video and I'm more excited about this project than any I've seen in a long time. Your enthusiasm is contagious. (too soon?)
Haha not too soon at all. Thank you so much Bonny! I'm so glad you are enjoying my video. I hope you have just as much fun making the blanket! 🤗🧡🧶
I absolutely love how you explain everything. For a while when I first started crocheting I didn’t understand why my stitches weren’t equal with my foundation chain
What a great video, well done Tiffany! You're adorable and am just trying to decide what size to start making for my granddaughters. I love the color and the yarn. Thanks for sharing and especially for your chart (clearly a labor of love)! Blessings!
This is one tutorial I find easy to follow .thank you Tiffany.I'm new to crotchet.
Thankyou! 😃
Love your work that included HDC ! I love colors I’ll find it in here . Thank you Tiffany !
I'm so very glad T. Gallagher, D George that my video could be helpful and good to watch. That's all I care about, well that and that you had an enjoyable time watching. 😊🧶🧡
I love the way this stitch finishes out and looks! I must try it on a project. Thank you for the tutorial! 👍
