Perhaps his relationship with Padmé is the only one uncluttered by his mixed feelings toward the Jedi-who took him away from his mother and among whom he’s never completely belonged. In other words, theirs is the only relationship he’s freely chosen. Ironically, even in a marriage constrained by secrecy and their equally demanding duties, he probably had more room to be himself. I wish we had more material that really explored how well suited for each other they actually were, even when you put aside the power of bonding during the traumatic events of “Phantom Menace.”

The movie intended for general audience had to tone down the sexual and physical attraction, making it more mild. In the bedroom scene they were turned away from each other and she seemed fully clothed and he was bare chested! In today’s films , they would be embraced and bodies more revealing! There would be more scenes of caressing and passion and even hum touching and caressing her growing tummy! All this would have raised their on screen chemistry up 100 percent but I believe they were directed to keep it light! Cuz of the general audience rating! But if they were allowed more intimacy on screen the critics would not of said he seemed wooden! Allowing him to show and express his sexuality more! But I love Padme and Anakin so i can only imagine how passionate and hands on their relationship was! She didn’t have many men close to her either so they had each other

It did connect to the over arching story of Anakin, Padme , Luke and Leia The Skywalker FAmily! I needed more reconnection to them the Family! That’s why Rey will take the name Skywalker and continue their legacy with new characters!

Anakin/Vader was a slave his entire life, his masters included the Hutts, Watto, Palpatine, arguably the jedi. His first and only act as a free man was saving his son, Luke and looking at him with his own eyes.

I just rewatched all the 6 movies and obsessed with Anakin and how changed, it would put my mind at ease if someone told me he met Padme as a ghost when he died. Did he or did he not?
I’m not sure about him seeing Padme but him and Obi Wan see each other and Obi wan pretty much saves Anakin by teaching him how to be a force ghost before his soul has passed and they pretty much become friends again but as far as padme goes I couldn’t find anything

Yoda isn’t wrong. The force does surround us and binds us with everything, but the midi-chlorians are what let us access the force. With a low count of midi-chlorians, you can’t access the force. The more you have, the more force sensitive you are.

Honestly one of my favorite things is hearing SW Theory talk about Anakin. You can tell how passionate of a fan he is of the character and I respect that, Anakin gets so much sh*t from fans a lot of the time that it's nice to hear someone who genuinely loves the character
MattMovies611 Anakin was always my favourite character and I identify with him more than Luke, it does seem like we’re in the minority of the fan base since most people lean towards Obi-Wan Kenobi which is perfectly understandable. But it’s nice to see the shift and see people grow more fond of Anakin’s character as they get older. Prequels and Clone Wars as well as Comics did a lot of justice to the overall character. Made Darth Vader real.
Killmonger 26 Hayden was perfect as Anakin I can’t imagine anyone else playing him and also I find myself in the same exact situation being 20 as well and growing up on the prequels era, I feel like as years went and go by I see deeper and hidden details and intentions when it comes those films hence my enjoyment grows more whilst watching them, finally understanding things that I may not have understood back then, especially Anakin’s fall and the reasons behind it does make you feel pity for him. I always loved the idea of tragic hero characters so he is without the doubt my favourite fictional character ever written.

Maybe it was reserved for Top Jedi masters only; restricted area of archives 5. Maybe Jedi were actually against using it, because you could arguably be altering the will of the force 6. Couldve been a power lost to history, and only Rey and Luke learned from it in the ancient Jedi texts from TLJ/ROS. (The child doesn't count, he has every power by default)

I always thought Anakin's ability to see into the future through his dreams wasn't actually an ability. I thought it was Palpatine projecting these destructive thoughts in Anakin's mind in order to further sway him to the dark side.

I think what people forget is that he was still the chosen one, even once he turned to the dark side. Most “chosen ones” have a line in their prophecy about how they will save OR destroy. Just because Anakin chose the wrong path doesn’t mean he stopped being the chosen one, it just means he’s like all those fan-fictions about what if so-and-so was evil. Even as Darth Vader he was still technically the chosen one, even though I like to think of Vader and Anakin as too different people.

I personally really like the prequels because of the story with Anakin and his relationships with obi wan, padme, jedi council, etc. but I honestly can never watch them because I find the story so gut wrenching and devastating. Every time I see the movies I know exactly what is going to happen and I just wish things turn out differently.

I love the concept of the midi-chlorians. They add so much more to the mystery of the Force. I wished they where used more besides in the PT and CW. The midi-chlorians where also there since The Star Wars first Inception back in 1973. But he left them out of Star Wars namely for time and to simplify the aspects of the force
Episode 3 makes me cry every time I've seen it. Anakin and the sheer pain/tragedy of him losing/killing literally everything in his life but the hatred and the pain that he was trying to save them all from to start with. It's so heartbreaking, I can kinda understand Padme just giving up on the will to live. I hope Kenobi has visions/what if moments where Anakin never turned/what could have been, I know it's cheap fan service, but, to see Ewan and Hayden's chemistry on screen again, that would totally be worth it to me.
Random Anakin videos are always appreciated. He's an endlessly fascinating and badass character. And i mean, it's Vader. Plus, everyone seems to love Hayden. It's an instant click.

I just rewatched all the 6 movies and obsessed with Anakin and how changed, it would put my mind at ease if someone told me he met Padme as a ghost when he died. Did he or did he not?

Honestly one of my favorite things is hearing SW Theory talk about Anakin. You can tell how passionate of a fan he is of the character and I respect that, Anakin gets so much sh*t from fans a lot of the time that it's nice to hear someone who genuinely loves the character
MattMovies611 Anakin was always my favourite character and I identify with him more than Luke, it does seem like we’re in the minority of the fan base since most people lean towards Obi-Wan Kenobi which is perfectly understandable. But it’s nice to see the shift and see people grow more fond of Anakin’s character as they get older. Prequels and Clone Wars as well as Comics did a lot of justice to the overall character. Made Darth Vader real.

Killmonger 26 Hayden was perfect as Anakin I can’t imagine anyone else playing him and also I find myself in the same exact situation being 20 as well and growing up on the prequels era, I feel like as years went and go by I see deeper and hidden details and intentions when it comes those films hence my enjoyment grows more whilst watching them, finally understanding things that I may not have understood back then, especially Anakin’s fall and the reasons behind it does make you feel pity for him. I always loved the idea of tragic hero characters so he is without the doubt my favourite fictional character ever written.

I always thought Anakin's ability to see into the future through his dreams wasn't actually an ability. I thought it was Palpatine projecting these destructive thoughts in Anakin's mind in order to further sway him to the dark side.

He dropped it when chasing the changeling on Coruscant. When he says "Not again Obi-Wan's gonna kill me." he means because he lost it once already and had the "This weapon is your life." lecture.

Which confuses me as to why Padme would marry him. He tells her "so like i killed women and children but you should marry me anyways " and she was just like "sounds great!".
I think what people forget is that he was still the chosen one, even once he turned to the dark side. Most “chosen ones” have a line in their prophecy about how they will save OR destroy. Just because Anakin chose the wrong path doesn’t mean he stopped being the chosen one, it just means he’s like all those fan-fictions about what if so-and-so was evil. Even as Darth Vader he was still technically the chosen one, even though I like to think of Vader and Anakin as too different people.
I think that if we would have seen Anakin in full potential it would have dwarfed Palpatine's power in The Rise of Skywalker

I love the concept of the midi-chlorians. They add so much more to the mystery of the Force. I wished they where used more besides in the PT and CW. The midi-chlorians where also there since The Star Wars first Inception back in 1973. But he left them out of Star Wars namely for time and to simplify the aspects of the force

Episode 3 makes me cry every time I've seen it. Anakin and the sheer pain/tragedy of him losing/killing literally everything in his life but the hatred and the pain that he was trying to save them all from to start with. It's so heartbreaking, I can kinda understand Padme just giving up on the will to live. I hope Kenobi has visions/what if moments where Anakin never turned/what could have been, I know it's cheap fan service, but, to see Ewan and Hayden's chemistry on screen again, that would totally be worth it to me.
