Lifetime warranties on most things don't cover "wear and tear" or normal/expected degradation over time. Just manufacturing defects, unexpected failures, etc
Another factor where fiberglass is probably superior to vinyl is fire resistance. Vinyl windows melt fairly easily, fiberglass will keep its integrity longer.
I was surprised to hear you limit the primary differences between vinyl and fiberglass to "Color & grid". I see many significant differences.
