Wood will expand/contract and absorb moisture over time causing the door to swell or shift. Fiberglass is non-porous so it should remain more rigid than a traditional wood door.
We apply flashing along the subfloor and 6-12" up the jamb and place two beads of sealant atop the flashing prior to setting the door. Our goal is to adhere to the manufacturer's installation instructions. Question. Do these doors have a screen available? Or would I need to go with the milgard French style sliding doors if I want a screen? Thanks.

When installing the doors did you use any sills to prevent water seeping in at the bottom of the door? Concrete slab? What do you suggest?

Do you have those tinted with 3M night vision film or something? They seem really reflective from outside. Sorry if I missed you mentioning it

It sure can. You can choose inswing or outswing when buying a new patio door.
