This helped the same thing happened to me today. I think I may have put the spark plug wire on the wrong spark plug because it blew the insulator right off.

Dumb question, what happens if the ceramic goes into the cylinder head. What can you do to clean it? (Without having to disassemble the whole block)?

Thanks for showing me how to do that Ron!

I remember the old days when you didn't have to take the car apart to change the plugs.

I have one that still has the ceramic inside when it broke off. How do I get the ceramic out?

Not Sure? Got to be careful not to have it fall into the cylinder.

We used a shop vac with a make shift small tube adapter to get in there and we vacuumed mine out. It was a shattered mess.

Once I snapped my plug, I got so pissed, I immediately sat down in driver seat, fired it up, backed vehicle in garage (decompression time, I was angry). Came back to the job the next day, to find zero porcelain fragments, I was looking thru the complete run of the spark plugs threads and could see the ground strap still intact. I think the compression stroke shot it out, and might have landed in the encapsulation panel under the motor. (2014 Ford escape 1.6, w/70k)

I got 2 broken spark plugs in a Chevy that won't come out. I have heated and turned on them with a easy out with a ratchet with no luck. Them designers sure know what there doing. Lol.

I’ve been up all night stressing how I’m going to get this broken spark plug out . Every shop has quoted like 1800-2000 😩 totally out of my budget .. please help

This is lies, the easyout you linked to doesnt fit in any type of traditional socket. It's squared not a hexagon. Why would you have people buy that through your link when its clearly not the tool you are using in the video?
