Not a typical day for me again as I haven't been able to add in my fruits and veggies after my most recent colonoscopy. Easinng back into them slowly though!! I can't wait to share my biopsy resullts with you in my next chat video!!

143 gr of protein! Wow! I'm impressed 😮 Getting enough protein in a day is where I struggle. I do intermittent fasting, so in my eating window, getting that much protein in is a challenge for me. Well done you! Great job with your meals. 😊

I was surprised to get that much, but that breakfast really started it off well. That's higher than I normally get though. And I totally understand - when you do intermittent fasting, it's definitely hard to get that much in because you're usually less meals. I have a friend who does IF and she struggles the same as you. Thanks so much!! 😊

This day was higher than usual for me. But I've definitely improved on the amount I get in a day. I'm usually between 100 and 130 now. And I really try to get it without protein shakes or bars. :)

Good Morning Kristi😊 I never count blended fruit either

Good morning!! Thanks friend! I was actually looking at the difference, and even if I did count it, I'd still be within my overall weekly points. So I guess it really doesn't make a difference for me.

I like that even though you don't count the fruit blend you still provided the points. 🙂

Are you losing weight? You don’t really talk about how much you have lost and if you are still losing. You need more fruits and veggies in your day

Hey there! I actually talked about this in my last two chat videos and showed before and after pics for both my husband and I in the New Year's chat. But I'll try to condense my chat here. I had lost about 50 pounds but then the pandemic happened and then I ended up real sick and had a bad flare with my ulcerative colitis. So, over the next couple years, I chose to put my app in maintain and not focus on weight loss. I wanted to focus on health and work on my gut health and getting my lab numbers back to normal. I took a nutrition coach class and worked with my doctor to find the best balance for me. Fast forward to now and all my labs are down and I'm back to losing. I mentioned in my last chat that January was a loss for me. However, I'm not focusing on the scale as I'm doing strength training and working on maintaining lean muscle while losing fat, which can sometimes cancel each other out on the scale. As far as fruits and veggies, I typically eat a HUGE salad every day and veggies are a huge part of my diet. I also eat two to three servings of fruit daily. Not sure if you watched my last What I Eat in a Day video, but I mentioned I was having a colonoscopy and had to cut down on the amount of fiber I was having (that video was before the colonoscopy). This video was just after the colonoscopy, so I'm not where I'm able to add everything back in yet. That's why I always say you have to do what works for you. For me personally, I can't always eat fruits and veggies due to my ulcerative colitis. There are times where my doctor tells me to temporarily cut them out completely. That's why you'll never hear me telling people what they should or shouldn't eat. I always say "you do you" because we are all different and have different medical needs. However, I will be talking about this in my next video - I am happy to say that with the hard work I've done in the last two years, this colonoscopy showed I'm in full clinical remission with my UC for only the second time in 20 years, all from diet and exercise. And between that and my labs all normal again, that trumps any number on a scale. :) Sorry this was so long but it was hard to put it into just a few words to properly answer your question.
