@@cortex383 You're right, people in southern parts of Europe might have actually seen a live lion at some point. But for Brits and Scots that was not the case. In the Nordic countries it's also very common to use the lion on flags and shields, and I can assure you no-one there had actually seen a lion when those images were made.
Unicorn 🦄 is good choice it's symbol of purity and innocence masculinity and power...etc. what's wroung with is...😇🏴🦄... By the way I'm Indian🇮🇳 and my nation animal is royal👑 bengol tiger 🐅 but really love unicorns the most🦄 with other mythical animal...
