Just wondering how long did it take to you to start understanding what people were talking about in Finnish? And how did you learn it?

When I first moved here I went to Finnish classes as part of an integration plan from the TE office. As for understanding, I'm not sure how long that took, still don't catch it all.

Come to Savo, you might notice you won't understand anything we speak if you are in rural area even if you are sober.... Unless you understand rally english, then you might understand maybe one third to half in good day... ...while not sober...
