Some true spiders have made the rocky shores their home. When night falls and the tide retreats, these beach-dwelling arachnids emerge for a hunt. But what's their strategy when the tide rolls back in?
Venturing underwater, we encounter their distant cousins, the slender-legged pycnogonids. These sea creatures boast a set of peculiar characteristics that wouldn't be out of place in a sci-fi flick!

Another awesome video! As a long-term viewer, it's wonderful to see how this channel has grown and blossomed. It's funny, I'm now studying Zoology at university and this channel certainly rivals my lectures for engaging and informative content (not to mention Explore the Shore is completely free). I mean I just published my first paper which was on spiders and I had no idea of the existence of intertidal land spiders and their parasitic wasps! Keep up the great work guys :^>
