- Episode 26: Sea Anemones
Sea anemones are one of the weirdest sea creatures out there. They may look like flowers, but did you know that anemones are actually invertebrates that are closely related to corals and jellyfish?
Imagine boneless and brainless entities that are like fleshy sea socks armed with deadly harpoons. You won't believe it, but these creatures also have the unexpected ability to move!
In this episode, Charles will reveal surprising facets of their lives and behaviours, backed by his personal (hilarious) tales.

Love your videos thanks a million! QUESTION!! What causes Sandy anemones to open together? And close?
They certainly close whenever out of water to not dry tentacles but maybe also when they have eaten they close up while digesting and only expose tentacles when they want to catch food. Protection and digestion?
