Well said. I recently saw them at Greatwoods in Mass. on May 17, 2024. I figured this may be my last time seeing them. I've seen them so many times over the years and I never get tired of their shows.
This has to be considered in with the greatest rock guitar songs of all time; the most sublime use of feedback I have ever heard. Listen also to the live version of Powderfinger on Rust Never Sleeps, this guy is so great! He absolutely ranks with Hendrix and Townsend in the skilled use of amplified distortion. Like bagpipes, some hate it and some, like me, love both.
i know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the account password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Alonso Jaden thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Every concert I have seen Neil . He is fabulous . The crowds are so melllow . I hear people talking how much they love Neil Young . We all do . His music has inspired all of us over😊 the years ... Hete is another great song . We love you Mr Neil. ❤❤❤
I noticed Neil, you're in your "Sweet Spot"..To All the individuals who are a part of the process in creating These "Masterpiece" Songs" come to fruition, THANK YOU!! Neil, You're a " Master Musician"..... Love Ya! ♥️🎶🎶.
This man is a legend . We are lucky to have him during our lifetimes. No one else can create a song as emotionally deep as Neil did here. The only rival may be his own Powderfinger. This is greatness and his guitar solos are super intense
Ragged Glory is probably my favorite Neil Young and Crazy Horse album. Not an easy choice. I love Neil, but never more than when he is with Crazy Horse. As he himself has stated, the Horse takes him places nobody else can take him.
I totally agree with everything you said. Neil is at his best with Crazy Horse and Ragged Glory edges out the rest of the great collaborations they’ve done together
This sounds just as good as it did when first released. Neil might be older and balder but age has not withered his sound nor the years condemned his genius. Keep on rocking.
Anyone who hasn't seen neil young live has missed a sound on a guitar only he can get the man is just fantastic the leads he plays are amazing only he can play like that believe me keep on rocking neil
When Willie Nelson was in tax troubles, i read somewhere he said, "Taxes are nothing. Now, a broken heart..." This song always reminds me of that distinction. I so love it. But echoes of mourning create the bone chill cut of this song and his beyond the beyond rock and roll unspooling guitar. can only rise from deep in the heart. neil. always.
Somebody took really a great video, in spite of quite adverse conditions. This video, combined with music, is transcendental; it throws a decent imagination of melody, rhythm and time of it completely out of any imaginable tracks. All in its simplicity of notes, chords and lyrics somehow suits the big gig they gave some time ago. Congratulations, Neil and GREAT Crazy Horses!
Thanks for posting this, a great song. It was an awesome show on the 5th. He played 6 new songs presumably from the September album. None from Americana. He is his own man.
Great upload rhkbco! So much joy in this. The shots of Uncle Neil dancing with his own shadow eg 7.02 and singing while his silhouette is in the speaker are killers.
Thanks so much for this!!!! THEY DONT MAKE EM LIKE THEY USED TO!!!! I cant wait for the east coast gigs in the fall!!!!!!!!!!! Puts such a smile on my face.
The ticket prices are depressing. I saw Neil & Crazy Horse last November in Seattle with my son and my two grandkids. The four tickets came to about $400. My son and grandson were on the floor in general admission and my granddaughter and I had nosebleed seats. It was a great concert and a very fun 3 generation outing, but that is a lot of money.
I grew up in the 1980s, when Neil was experimenting with country, rockabilly, electronics etc. As such, I never really took to him back then. When Ragged Glory was released in 1990, it was this single which caused me to become a HUGE Neil and Crazy Horse fan. I went to see them at Maple Leaf Gardens with Sonic Youth opening, and my teenage mind was blown wide-open by the rock n roll on display by both artists. I'll tell you, though, the crowd REALLY didn't like Sonic Youth. Never mind: Neil went on record as saying that SY's "Expressway to Yr Skull" was a brilliant guitar record. The old farts in the audience that night were saying things about Sonic Youth like "They're not playing any notes". They failed to see the spiritual connection between the two artist's approaches. Oh well. Their loss. Both bands just burned the dump down. Greatest show ever.
Not really. It's different, doesn't make it pretentious, bullshit or just for hipsters. Music is subjective man, it doesn't have to be everyone's tastes.
Songs like these are what garage bands are made for. Get a couple guitars and some drums and bang GCD over and over again til the neighbors call the cops
Neil never sleeps …
Long May he run ….
The master of long and fucking good songs , long live to uncle Neil.
carlos esteban lopez maldonado ¡Que viva tío Neil!
These guys aren't going to be around for ever..treasure them while you can🤘
Amen brother.
Yes. Frank is no longer with them. Fantastic band.
Well said. I recently saw them at Greatwoods in Mass. on May 17, 2024. I figured this may be my last time seeing them. I've seen them so many times over the years and I never get tired of their shows.
I've loved and lived Neil for 50 years ...but I've never seem him (and the Horse) so relaxed as this ... beautiful x
Jak kochałam ? w czasie przeszłym Neil nadal żyje , koncertuje i nagrywa 👋👋👋👋👋🌹
One of the best rock songs ever by the incomparable Neil Young & Crazy Horse. I'm sure the great Sioux warrior would have gotten down big with them.
Like bagpipes, some hate it and some, like me, love both.
totally agree
Was at these two shows and this was from right near where we were sitting. One of my favorite neil memories from 40 shows.
The king of rock and roll....
Song takes off and doesn’t want to land. So fine!
Disgrace only 420 likes. Our music is dying folks. Until it's over I'm playing it LOUDER!
over and over again
they look so happy! what a joy to see
Always sounds his best with Crazy Horse.

@Alonso Jaden It worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Lorenzo Andrew Happy to help :)
My favourite NY track ever. To come out with a record like Ragged Glory so late in his career just amazing...
What a pleasure to watch this! I love the look of joy on Neil's face!
I was there last night & I can tell you Red Rocks is nothing but atmos. The best place to see a show
Every concert I have seen Neil . He is fabulous . The crowds are so melllow . I hear people talking how much they love Neil Young . We all do . His music has inspired all of us over😊 the years ... Hete is another great song . We love you Mr Neil. ❤❤❤

Neil, You're a " Master

♥️🎶🎶.
I Was Born To Rock I'll Never Be An Opera Star.
It ain't over til Crazy Horse says it's over
@Deja Vu Understood. I was referring to the way they extend songs with feedback.
10 years ago, and now: still better than that, what the youth today wants to be great. Nothing against the youth, everything for Neil...
This man is a legend . We are lucky to have him during our lifetimes. No one else can create a song as emotionally deep as Neil did here. The only rival may be his own Powderfinger. This is greatness and his guitar solos are super intense

@@thomashermann2785 You know your Neil Young well! i'm a huge fan since the 60s.
@@ricrazo me too, ever since Buffalo Springfield and Mr. Soul. Your comment sounded like me speaking.
Besides "Rust never sleeps-Live"..
As Jimi said: " when I'm dead, just keep playing the records". That's what a legacy truly is...
Yours in music.

The greatness of Ragged Glory
This sounds just as good as it did when first released. Neil might be older and balder but age has not withered his sound nor the years condemned his genius. Keep on rocking.
Billy and Poncho sure were always happy. Seen them with Neil a dozen times at least. First class.
Another one!
He’s got so many great ones.
Ich liebe diese Musik!! Lg.Andreas aus MASSERBERG/ Thüringen/ Deutschland
WOOOW! One of my favourite songs from my favourite NY album in a boss version!
Anyone who hasn't seen neil young live has missed a sound on a guitar only he can get the man is just fantastic the leads he plays are amazing only he can play like that believe me keep on rocking neil

neil is blown away by his own guitar work
Lol yeah
He's doing Art Peace Be with You
The playing in this performance is wonderful; but it's the joy among the musicians that makes it inspiring.
Could listen to Neil’s electric-guitar tones all day!
love his music so much
saw him 10- 8 in my home town of Cleveland ...did alot of of the same songs from what i see at each concert...old and new it was so fantastic....
hahaha....I was thinking the same thing! It's one of my favorite Neil tunes, too! Brilliant!
I keep coming back here and cranking this unbelievable performance. AMAZING~~~~~
Absolutely magnificent. How can 3 people dislike this?
This track is a litmus test for a true Neil fan.
From one of Neil's greatest albums, Ragged Glory.

Vintage Horse! Like a fine wine they just get better and better. This song bubbles with chemistry...especially the back rub @ 6:15.
WOW! Can't wait for the Cleveland show in October!
Good Ole Neil uses a hacksaw instead of a plektrum getting that unique barbed wire crushed glass sound ;)
That's one of the quickest eleven minutes in rock!
Amazing talent on that guitar of his.....

BEST SOUND! NEIL YOUNG!

What a great song. How did you get such a fantastic video and sound? I could hear this "over and over my friend". Thanks for posting.
Neil..in his happy place.....as mine.
I grew up in the 1980s, when Neil was experimenting with country, rockabilly, electronics etc. As such, I never really took to him back then. Sonic Youth is pretentious bullshit music for hipsters.
Not really. It's different, doesn't make it pretentious, bullshit or just for hipsters. Music is subjective man, it doesn't have to be everyone's tastes.
