im from new york as well, i like this realistic version but i prefer the romanticized sun simply cause its prettier to me and it reminds me of the raimiverse. though i hope they find some balance between the clarity of things with shadows and the orange sunset

The lighting levels in the base game(s) was really weird, it felt a little too contrasted, tinted and dark at times even during the day, my least favourite part about the game was some of the lighting if I'm being honest so this looks like an improvement in my eyes!
They’re still artists at the end of the day not everything is about ultra realism. Colors can have a huge effect on mood and what the devs are trying to setup story/theme wise.

The mod is Cool. But the warmth seen in the Vanilla version is still Better. In this mod, the warmth is totally eliminated. If there would've been a little warm colour temperature then I would've considered but honestly that's not how sun and atmosphere work during sunset as I am seeing in this mod. Just think about it.

The graphics of this game are really good but the lighting and color choices always bothered me, it looked so ugly and bland sometimes. I like how the miles morales game got a much more unique color palate, that game looks phenomenal
I think they learned a lot while making Spider-Man Miles Morales. I haven't played it myself, but just seeing how much more fluid the traversal and animations are, as well as the atmosphere in that game, it seems like they learned a lot, and I'm sure there will be even more improvements to Spider-Man 2.

You have to install the Spider-Man PC tool on Nexus. After that, you click mod manager, add the mod, then check mark it and click install.
