Mods are essentially the reason why I want all games to release on PC, so many cool & goffy things since PC version has been released and I love it!

@@-pROvAK mod literally means "modification". Any file/files that modifies/modify any aspect of the game is a modification. A preset is a modification aka a mod
this is the filter they should aim for the next game. Especially since it will be a PS5 exclusive. Since they announced Miles Morales coming to PC, maybe it will look similar to this
Granted ps5’s are strong but computers just can have better graphics cards
I give it a year or so and the follow-up game will come to PC as well

As cool as realistic graphics look, I hope we get a more animated looking Spider-Man game one day again. Something like Ultimate maybe.

It wasn't trying to be badass or cute or anything, Ultimate Spider-Man looked weird to you because it was a love letter for Spider-Man comic book fans, in fact, its storyline is (was) even canon with the storyline going at the time in the ultimate universe.
It is literally just meant to be an actual comic book with movement, from its art style to camera angles and cuts in the cutscenes.
It’s crazy to me just how good technology is getting. Kinda scary actually

This is what I do with my Batman Arkham games. I lower the brightness, adjust coloring, and automatically looks like a remaster.

For all of you commenting that "there is too much fucking sharpen":
this preset doesn't add ANY sharpen effect
It's more noticeable in the trees but whatever; still a beautiful-ass looking game

It's because you are already using an insane amount of in-game sharpening, people think you must be adding more.

I get it looks more like real life, and it's a damn good job dude. But i like that this is not the default version of the game, I like a more colorful, vibrant looking game. But they could implement this as a filter option in the future.

Dying Light 2 has these cool Color Grade Filter options and the Default compared to this one gritty one changes the game from looking like a brighter post apocalypse to a overgrown dark grey and green apocalypse similar to how fallout 3 looked and it completely changes the games feel and vibe. So i can definitely see something like this in the future for spiderman since they already do the animated suits and stuff imagine a Into the Spiderverse comic art style on the world or something lol

It honestly bothers me how real it looks. Spider-Man 2 will have no excuse to not look exactly like, if not better than, this.

Brother, raytracing isn’t even turned on. The only thing this fucking mod did was recolors everything so it’s super gray and dull. There are no actual visual improvements to the game itself and it might not even be running at max settings

I do think this looks amazing, hard to beat in any way to make it more realistic than this. But for everyone saying spider-man 2 should look like this. I'm not sure they're aiming for absolute realism with these games, better to make a world that looks fun and enjoyable to swing around than to make a new york ultra realistic swinging simulator.
This is what the modding community is for, but let's aim for fun and beautiful worlds over realistic ones.

Decrease sharpness and increase saturation slightly and perfect. The green on the trees looks super dryed of color. But the buildings look great. Maybe even changing the materials on the tree leaves to a more deep colored green and it would balance everything out.

I live in Manhattan, and I'm literally watching the video and then looking out my window and it's practically identical. I love the original look of the game but it was missing the grime of the city.
