Prayers for your family, so sorry for your loss. That Teresa Kogut pattern is so pretty, I will have to look for that. I love your finish on the petal ware. I found a piece of petal ware several years ago and was hooked! I have a few pieces but I don't run across them very often when I am out and about, they are so beautiful and fragile. I always love to see all your beautiful pieces.

So sorry to hear about your father-in-law's passing🙏🙏🙏. I love Depression glass, and I think the little dish you put your round stitched piece on is just so pretty! You stitch on some amazing samplers! The colors are so pretty. I can only imagine how beautiful your walls are going to look once all of those pieces are finished and hanging up😊. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss of your father-in-law. My father-in-law passed away a year ago in April. The blessing in this past year has been watching how close family has become even closer and rallied around my mother-in-law. ❤️ I also got the HOD bee to do this summer. Now I’m working on HOD Spring Folk. I am loving the specialty stitches mixed in.

Celeste- I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. My husband’s grandmother passed away on April 12th also. She was 99 just a month shy of her 100th birthday. She was such a godly woman and we rejoice she is with Jesus now. You have some beautiful projects. I love your raven quilt. Thank you for sharing your process. I think I’d like to make this quilt someday. I read the George and Martha books too. The story I remember most is when he poured pea soup into his slippers. I don’t like pea soup either😅. God bless and I hope you’re having a wonderful time with all your children home.

I love that you have been collecting beautiful dishes for so many years. Me too! And your piece, "Oh How He Loves You" looks so pretty on that plate. If you wanted to put it in a plate stand could you use that museum putty that keeps glass pieces from falling down. It adheres to glass but doesn't leave a residue. Just a thought if you wanted it to be upright. I'm so sorry about your loss. That is so hard.

It was so good to see that you have a new video. You have made nice progress on your projects despite all the life changes that have happened. I know that Cynthia Brew, Stitching in the Light shows Tho He Seemeth Sleeping in a video from a while ago. It might be in an IG post too, but I'm not sure. It is really pretty. Can't wait to see yours unfold.

I would love to start O Sweet Humility with you. I ABSOLUTELY love the DMC's on your linen choice. Could you possibly match the linen to a DMC color to give me direction in the linen I choose?

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful projects! Would you mind telling me the names of your favorite local stitchy/quilty stores? We’re going to be passing through Houston next month and fiber souvenirs are my favorite!

There is only one stitching store I know of called 3 Stitches.
There are many quilt shops but I am more familiar with those on my side of town, southeast. Here’s a few: And Sew it Began, Painted Pony n Quilts (both in LaPorte), Clothyard Fabrics in Friendswood. In Spring Cupcake Quilts is fun. If you are in the spring area there is also Old Town Spring and a couple good antique malls.
