Spiderman: Someone will always be there to replace the villain. Also Spiderman: Allows the villains to pile up, creating more work for himself. Seriously... -_-
I've waiting for this for so long. I used to follow what was going on with Spider-Man but when this channel stopped making as many videos about Spider-Man i actually started reading the on going story and i really enjoyed it. Came here just to make sure the channel know at least one person wants more Spider-Man videos. P.S Great video.
I think you'll enjoy the next arc despit it not having a conclusion as it had promised, the writing is great and it calls back to big past stories in Spider-Man's history
@@miguelganhao6327 Despite it not ending, I loved how character driven it was. If they had just added that 2-3 page scene at the end of ASM #60 to the end of 55, I'm pretty sure people would've liked it better. Plus, Marvel could've jacked up the price, so its a win win.
@@goldenstatewarriors9418 I feel like the story just keeps getting dragged I wasn't expecting like issue 60 so much but I can't disagree with a review I saw that said the whole issue could've been done in less pages. Also I don't like that marvel keeps forcing extra issues into the story now there's gonna be a giant sized issue to finish the king ransom story line
I mean he could and it would be no worse than lobo killing atrositous with a giant green dick construct hell there is comedy gold with them running that joke between pool and lobo could you imagine
Avengers: Standoff. Robin and his secret prison and genie friend. Now this. And this story raised more questions than it answered. I'm not a fan. Excellent job presenting it to us.
As much as I've enjoyed Nick Spencer's Spider-Man, and especially his recent stories, it's annoying that every issue is described as a ground-breaking conclusion that will reveal everything only for the issue to kick the can down the road so the next issue can do the same thing.
Benny is such a good narrator, that I can actively fall asleep to his narration at night, and as an insomniac, that is the highest honor that I can bestow upon you, Benny. Thank you and everyone at Comicstorian.
It really good but omg that part when green goblin said to gwen scent smells familiar in that the under Universe Gwen and him had a thing on my God it made me sick to my stomach cuz they remind me of that comic when gwen and Green Goblin hooked up
Batman has the Joker, Spider-Man has the Green Goblin, Batman has Ghost Maker, Spider-Man has Sin Eater. These are building blocks for a good crossover.
So long as death in comics isn't permanent (at least for the heroes and villains) then there's not much point to this story. Neither Norman nor Pete are changed and things revert back to the status quo. After a while. it gets stale. Let one or the other truly die and move on from there...
In a way, a lot of the recent story is a meta commentary on how editors never let Peter change since OMD, and he never moves on and develops or deviates from the status quo.
Okay, I have a question here, and I'm gonna ask it. However, it contains spoilers for this and that, so anyone reading this, be aware! From my understanding, Mephisto has been killed by Thor, and his trying to resurrect himself by consuming those whom he has made pacts with in the past. While this is going on, Sin-Eater is resurrected, presumably on Mephisto's payroll, and Kindred is revealed to one of Mephisto's goons as well, taking on the appearance of Harry Osborn in the wake of Peter's deal back in "One More Day". Are they seriously moving to resolve this catastrophe? Are they seriously about to not retcon away, but actually address and deal with the utterly devastating implications of Peter making a literal Faustian deal to avoid his "great responsibility"? I have, for the past few years, been intensely critical of Marvel, from their political filibusters to their lacking respect for their own legacy, and I can rant on length about how they are contributing not only to the collapse of the comic industry as we know it, but to the growing societal polarisation... But, and this is a big, fat BUT, if they are indeed going to try and redeem Peter by having him confront his sins rather than the writers pulling another retcon to sweep it under the rug...Good. Whether the storyline ends up being good or not is less important than having this stain on the character of Peter Parker remain unaddressed. Someone at Marvel realises that what Peter did was not heroic, and that he cannot be considered a hero until he rights his wrong. And if even just one person at Marvel gets it, there is still hope in my heart that maybe the age of Marvel superheroes is not over, after all.
Mephisto was killed by Moon Knight, not Thor, in Jason Aaron's horrible Avengers run. Nobody reads that though, and nobody but Bendis and Slott should read Jason Aaron's work on Avengers. He was also usurped of his position by Ghost Rider, but that title was canceled. If you read the most recent issue SPOILER ALERT Mephisto shows up at the end, confronted by Strange, who asks: "Tell me devil - what is wrong with Peter Parker's soul." He also says that Mephisto returned to his position since we last saw him defeated by Ghost Rider, which we never saw since the series was canceled.
So the sin eater is the guy with the wierd insects i swear to god i saw that a year ago and just now realised who he is then again i dont read comics i just watch them
I figured it out, mysterio is behind all of this. Remember he was an actor and he specifies in special effects And he was the first one that kindred first "brought back" 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Interesting. I think this is some of the best art we've seen in some time. Mark Bagley is an all time great, as always, he's drawn more of Spider-man than anyone besides maybe the Romitas, and Patrick Gleason's art is amazing.

It shows that he's struggling on what to do. If he just let Norman be cleansed without trying to save him, it would be out of character. But after he realizes there's no hope for Norman, he understandably gets desperate and takes the easy way out.
