Best Mountain of any band that does Mountain. They play Mountain in detail.
We used to cover this whole jam. Never seen anyone else cover. Some of my favorite Felix to play. So much fun. Awesome to the band.

Words can't quite describe the feeling of hearing a cover of what is perhaps not just my favorite song ever, but my favorite live recording of it being performed by a group of guys living a world apart from me whose culture sprang totally independent of mine. Wow! I collect Mountain covers and thus far, I believe this to be the only one that I have seen of the truly legendary live performance by Mountain recorded in 1971 at the Fillmore East in that venue's final concert before it closed its doors (for others reading this comment, see the track "Dream Sequence" on Mountain's "Flowers of Evil" album). I suspect that you guys were/are every bit as taken aback by Moutain's performance recorded that night as I continue to be after 40 years -- all of which speaks volumes about just how truly amazing Mountain was at its peak. Great work guys! Keep at it!
