Yeah, mine came with instructions, but they kept talking about “cement,” so I thought my kit was missing it. If they’d said “WAX” & shown a picture, I would’ve figured it out!🙄
My first diamond paint g... Came with this tool and some weird pink square... Tried picking the diamond up with the metal tip 😳! Came here for help and got it! Thank you so much!
I’m rushing Bc it’s late, just quickly- was looking for Something to get me started. And, your Video was the best I found to give Beginner w a capital B something to start with! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for making this video! I just bought a kit from a company online, never mind who, and they didn't explain any of this in their very basic instructions. I was ready to give up because, first of all, I didn't realize there was a piece of plastic over the wax. So obviously, I was having a lot of trouble picking up the beads and I thought it was me. Fortunately, I found your video and that has made all the difference!
Your instructions were perfect! Thank u so much. It's my first time trying this and I received a kit as a gift without instructions and your video was first one I seen.
I pulled out the tip and when I realized I tried to fit it back in, but It was so strong so I am burning it, biting it down, cutting it in half but it still doesn’t work so so I just insert so close it into another pen🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I’m on my 3rd DP. This time the tiny ball of wax keeps getting pulled out of stylus metal tip, after I place jewel 💎 on painting! I try to place lightly but it’s still happening. I can only place 2 or 3 & it happens again. I have to get the tiny ball of wax off the painting w tweezers & start again. Any help would be soooo appreciated! Thanks 🙏🏽 ☺️
I had the same issue with one of mine I think it's caused by some types of drills because on mine it was just one color that kept doing it...I tried switching out the wax, the pen and so that leaves the drill itself. In my case it was a special drill with a coating. Your not doing anything wrong sometimes they're just stupid
Thank you. This is my first time and I really want to try this craft. And the instructions were non existing. Can you please tell me the best way to remove the wax when it becomes not sticky and needs to be replaced.
Just starting my diamond art hobby. My painting didn't have instructions and I've wasted a full square of wax by DIY lol but then it occured to me to check on here, I've watched a few and was still clueless. This video nailed it in an easy to learn way thank you very much!! Now to find out how to use these multi ones and maybe invest in one 😂
Exactly the info I needed! I got a kit today (my first) and I thought I had to dip the pen after each use, so I wasted a lot of wax today. Question: How do you turn those teeny tiny gems over when you put them in the tray and they have the flat side up? Thanks!
Thank you so MUCHHHH I got this diamond art thing for my 13th birthday last November and I just decided to open it and it looked like 12th great math lol u helped me so much tyyyyy 😝😝🤓
love how it is too the point ...starting my first painting SOOOOO EXCITED !! i watched another video before this one, and well heh i came to yours ! so that should say it all right there..thanks again looking forward to learning more with you
Yes, remove the wax, if possible. I typically use the tip of a sharp tweezer. If you can’t get it, you can still load fresh on top. Just be careful not to bend the tip digging it out.
This was very helpful. I have an extra question, in the pink pen on the metal end when I fill it up some is going it fills into the plastic so there is wax actually inside the pen?? I'm just confused as if this is normal and how do I use it?
Hello. New to this hobby here! Please can you tell me after 5-6 uses of this pink wax in the single end pen, i noticed that pink wax is inside the plastic white part of the pen. I mean it goes up. How can we clean this wax?
Bought my 1st one a couple days ago and nearly threw the wax away because I saw no reason why it was included…I’m glad I didn’t 😂. Thanks a bunch for this video
Thank goodness we have the same interests to where people like you make videos for us to make our first painting easier than going in blind like they mustve intended because why no instructions? Pbbt* who cares we have even better a diamond queen😊❤ so thanks
Thank you for showing that, I find the pink stuff is easy to load but I also bought blue tac everybody said that last longer. I can't load the pen with it, can you show how to load using blue tac?
Maybe I have a faulty pen or wax cause I stick my pen in like you did and have to poke SEVERAL TIMES to pick the drill up. When like that, what am I doing wrong...
that's what the square thing is i was jabbing the diamonds with the pen tip thinking it was built to just have a suction cup effect then the tip broke so now i sprinkle the diamonds in the area where they go and use what's left of my pen to move them into place flip them over . my question is it common to have a lot of left over diamonds after completing the designated areas to a color
I fill my pens like you’ve shown BUT the stickiness does not last 😞 I’m lucky if I can go an hour before needing to add more. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? I tend to be heavy handed when I place my drills
You will only change the wax when it is no longer sticky. You will be able to do quite a bit of diamond painting with just one fill. Thanks for the question. Hope that helps!
I just started my first project. After I load my pen it doesn't seem to last very long. I do about 10-15 of them and it won't pick them up. I also have a problem loading the wax. It's quite frustrating... I am sure I am doing something wrong!

To this beginner, I Need visuals & feel like I think if Goofy things to ask- I do want to know How does the wax Work, like how does it run out and go Down enough to pick Up the like 8th diamond, as it did say the 1st or the 5th! I have never sealed any of my diamond paintings. I know that is something others do. But I feel that the risk of dulling the project, or ruining it in some of other way is just too great.
hey this helped a lot and I really enjoyed your video one thing I did notice though is is stopped being sticky how do I refill it or is there something I'm doing wrong that is causing this ?
Hi! Thanks! When your pen stops becoming sticky. Remove whatever is left of the wax inside your pen. (I have found that using pointy tweezers are the best tool for this.) Then repeat the process of filling your pen. Unfortunately the pink wax doesn't last long. -- Keep an eye out for an upcoming video that dives deep into another cheap alternative to pink wax.
The wax is what gets your diamonds from the drill tray to your diamond painting. So anywhere you have put the wax, is where the diamonds go. Check out my other video (linked) on completing your first diamond painting. Around the 20:15 mark I start talking about how to pick up the diamonds to place them on your canvas. Hope this helps. ua-cam.com/video/-h-mD59dyV0/v-deo.html

Oh no! Well, you have a couple of options. Reach out to the seller and let them know that you didn't receive the wax in the kit. -- I've never seen a kit that didn't include some kind of wax -- But that would also take a long time to receive. They also sell wax on places like Amazon. Just type in Diamond Painting Wax, and you can usually get several pieces fairly cheaply. Hope that helps.
I started at the bottom right hand corner and did a small portion UNTIL I learned that I was supposed to start at the top. Question is, how should I cover that portion so I can start over at the top. Please HELP!!! 😂❤

Thank you so much! You’re the first person that has actually shown how to load the wax.
So glad you made this video! We were getting quite frustrated b/c the instructions were minimal!

I really like the diamond art and I would like to use the multi tool, but how do you get them all the right side up in a line to pick them up?
Thank you i am new to diamond art painting i didn't know to use the wax i do now
When the wax loses its stick in the pen do I remove the wax from the tip? How do you do that?
Yes, remove the wax, if possible. I typically use the tip of a sharp tweezer. If you can’t get it, you can still load fresh on top. Just be careful not to bend the tip digging it out.
I thought that Too 😃! Thanks for asking!
Thank you for that explanation. I could not find that answer at all.
Thank you for this simple tutorial. I am a beginner so it was very helpful.
Thank you!!! Best description yet
This was very helpful. I have an extra question, in the pink pen on the metal end when I fill it up some is going it fills into the plastic so there is wax actually inside the pen?? I'm just confused as if this is normal and how do I use it?
Thank you! This was such a huge help, I thought my pen was broke. Had no idea about the wax😅
Thank you! New to the art and info is priceless 🙏🏽
Yes I one that didn’t know how to use it. The kit didn’t come with instructions. Thank goodness for youtube and you!!! Thank you.
Thank you . You answered my question perfectly.
Do you have to empty your pen before loading it with more wax?
This was so helpful i really new and didn't know how to fill thank you so much!
Thanks for the video, been doing this for a long time and never figured out correctly the right way lol
Thank you. This was very helpful.

AB drills do this to me all the time! I use tweezers for those.
Does the wax need wetted to keep from drying out?
Thank you for showing that, I find the pink stuff is easy to load but I also bought blue tac everybody said that last longer. I can't load the pen with it, can you show how to load using blue tac?
Absolutely! Stay tuned... 😉

@@rebeccamarkham4114 I'm not entirely sure. Is the wax up to the top of the tip? If not, I would say that maybe it's bad wax. ???
Thank you for your informative video!
Is there a way to shake the trays of drills so they line up in rows right side up?😪
Do you have yo put glue on your project to get the diamonds to stay
Thank you so much. My sister sent a painting to me. No instructions though

Thanks for the video! How do you keep the wax in the pen from drying out before you run out?
Good question. I'm not sure that I've ever had it dry out. However I keep my stash of wax in a sealed container.
Do I remove the glue eventually?
How do you reshape the wax when you run out of room?
Nicely explained.. Can you suggest the link where i can purchase it
Thank you so much, but do you have to change the wax Every time you begin or do you keep it in until it loses its stickynis

How do you get it out when u get to much and it goes inside the metal piece
Thank you so much. I was feeling like a fool...
How do you remove the wax once it’s not sticking anymore?
Hi I'm finding I'm using the wax alot as it doesn't seem to stay sticky for long, and it it dips in so diamonds are not picking up
My pen won’t pick up after a few uses.why? Also why do you have to section canvas off?
Omg thank you
Great videos thanks!

You think it would come with a picture explaining how to use it
it says drill pen adds glue what does that mean?
