A Child you stick the pen in the wax and it'll pick up a circle of wax, then you just pick up the dot by lightly tapping the waxing the rounded side of the circle or square. :)
Every now and again you dip your pen into the gel sponge then it will keep picking up your dots to put on picture then after so long repeat what you just done but always make sure the round tops of the beads are at top on picture if your using round ones!
Chill,to make the pen sticky u just get the pink square and push the pen through it ✨ its as easy as that then it turns in a magnet sort of thing and captures the pearls on the pen!

now add to that when you get a kit in a language that you dont speak and there are no words only a product identifier number on the package. then, after you finally find the product your fone does not translate the words (only the name: diamond puzzle, after you copy it and ask the search engine what does it mean) 😂 im so happy this video came right away!

I’m in lockdown thanks to COVID19 and wanted to find a fun craft activity to do. Then I remembered my friend bought me one of those things for my birthday so I began working on it. It was a very small one so I finished it in one sitting. It was quite a fun little activity.

Wowwwwwww this short video just answered every single question I had!! I was seriously getting ready to just give up and I was SUPER bummed about it!! I could not for the life of me figure out what the hell that red rubber square was for..and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why my diamonds were not sticking to the pen when I pushed the pen down on the diamonds 😳😳 so Needless to say it took me probably 10 minutes to stick 10 diamonds on my canvas! Yay 😁 I’m so excited now that I don’t have to give up on it!! Thank you soooo much!!!!
Love your video! However, I started on the right side BECAUSE I’m right handed. I feel like that doesn’t make any sense what you said. The left side stays down and untouched while the right gets assembled. As you go, the gems cover the sticky canvas entirely to your right where your right hand may eventually touch if not rest momentarily sometimes. I think it makes more sense to start on the dominant hand’s side. If you’re right handed, try starting the next one from the right.
I don't recommend doing the smaller size that you're doing. The picture never comes out clear and it's all blurry. Order a larger size if you're invested in a nice end result! :)

Hello Jen and thank you for this wonderfully informative video! I received my canvas from my neighbor, a few months ago and today is the first time I actually pulled everything out once I saw your video LOL! I noticed that the only thing missing out of my kit, are the tweezers, however I have a little item that looks like a clear mini spatula that actually fits into the other end of the drill pin oh, and I believe it could serve as the tweezers or in place of the tweezers. And, I will take a photo of it, and I'll try to send it to you through my email if there's a way I can get in contact with you. I thank you so much for explaining everything to me because I had no idea what the little pink square was, nor did I realize that it was the wax and that it is used to attach the drills to the drill pin! Because there were no instructions in the package that I received and there was no separate photo included. However I did notice at the top of my canvas that there is a miniature photo of the item that I am to be completing. I also want to thank you for explaining about shaking the drills in the little Square tray before attaching them to the drill pin, because I would have had no idea to do this! I sincerely thank you for your help today!

Don't you need to actually place each diamond straight on the square? I just noticed that you were placing them crooked. How do you straighten them out once they are stuck on?
it is better for beginners to use round drills instead of square because they dont come out crooked but if u do choose to do a painting with square drills, on amazon theres really cheap straighteners to straighten them or u can just use a ruler!

i ordered a 40x30 and it was AMAZING. it is such a time killer! You could like work hours on it. The fun thing is the diamonds are really small. I didn't know about the wax thingy so i cam ehere
Uhh just saying that you should have a funnel type part on you tray for the "diamonds" so it is easier to put the "diamonds" back in what ever you keep them in. I have a funnel trey and it is quite useful.
The little bowl makes static electricity with the pen. So the sticky block is not always needed. It is fun to do. If your sticky thing is lost you can dip the tip on your tongue.
each diamond painting usually comes with one square of wax which is more than enough for your painting so do not worry about running out. oh and instead of the free wax u can use blue-tack because it works better and the stickiness lasts longer. hope this helped:)

Hi. You don't have to - I don't. You'll see how it works when you start. Also, I prefer using blutack instead of the red wax.

I think you just put in more and the old gets pushed up into the pipe.

I use the tweezers to put the diamonds on and I work two square inches at a time. I also use several colors at a time and lay them out on a mat.
