I like these "ramblings" fun to see your train builds as well. I've used your channel as inspiration to automate my railway system. Had switches etc.. from years ago where I used PF and have now started the "cheap" transition to PU / BT.
The latest tutorial "Lego wire repair and making custom cables: 9v, trains and PF" has a couple links for other countries and also has a link to wire that seems to work just as well from AliExpress, who should ship just about anywhere
If you mean for the train motor wheels I just used the rubber bands that come with them for now. TrixBrix has rubber bands for better traction for inclines, I'll give them a try soon. Upgrading the 9v regulators can be quite fun / useful 😁
What is the dif between a shunter and a tiny locomotive? Good video. Coincidentally, I was looking at the LBG low-body train bases last night. I’ll stick with my own DBG and white for now.
I'm no expert but in my mind a shunter or switcher is a small but standard gauge locomotive used for moving freight cars around in the yard to get ready for the big engines. There is probably some nuance there for a train buff to correct me on 😅. I would think the LBG low-body train bases are more sought after for people expanding their Maersk trains. They often seem more expensive
It's a delicate balance. I won't change much, just try to keep haul videos under 20 minutes or so and have a nice conclusion at the end. If I don't keep the algorithm in mind at all no one would ever find my channel😅

Thanks! The train builds are very simple compared to many others but I think they have a bit of charm to them. Many more in the works!
@@BatteryPoweredBricks Less is more ;)
It would be cool if you did a video showcasing all your trains and train cars. :)
Oh my - I was literally saying “barely an inconvenience” as you said it
Great now I'm only going to get recommended "barely an inconvenience" videos 😁
I love that engine carrying car

What do you use for rubber bands on the wheels? Love you stuff. Upgrading my 9v regulator based on your videos now!

Great haul, your shopping list is like mine😎 I think the times you do your vids are the middle of the night for me in Australia.
No matter how much I order the list never gets any shorter! 🤣
@@BatteryPoweredBricks yep know the feeling 🤣
Nice vid !
Thanks!
Don't cut too much fat from your videos, please.
