I was 6 years old when i got attacked by a dog and i wasn't a random dog it was my cousin's dog cheetah who had a bad attitude and i still have the scars to this day 30 years later. I owe my life to my uncle, who came out with his rifle when he heard me screaming and killed his dog before Cheetah could finish the job. My mom wasn't even there she was with her sister shopping she didn't see me till i was in the hospital only my arms got most of the damage i was lucky, but my uncle saved my life. All i did was pet Cheetah the wrong way, and then she turned on me, i didn't know any better, i was only 6 years old.
Pitt Bulls, Rotti, Doberman, Cane Corso, Dogo Argentine and even German Sherpards… All dogs that should have a license to own. Because if they are raised improperly you are walking around with a ticking time bomb.
37 minutes for first responders to get inside? That’s insane. If they established in the first 5 minutes that someone is dying to 2 dogs, they should be going in with tranquillisers or if they don’t have that, lethal force.

This is why it's good to have a loaded weapon at all times. Certain breeds of dogs (especially pit bulls) attack so fast and with force and many of the survival tactics given in the comment section won't always be possible. What if you are attacked by 2 dogs at the same time? What might work to beat one dog won't work if a second dog is attacking you at the same time.
This happens when we go on ignoring straight up dangerous behaviors of Dogs and say that its because of "Abusive owners." Dogs are wild animals who just we think are fit to survive amongst humans. Not against dogs or anything but never leave your belongings and small children unsupervised with any kind of animals if you don't want them getting hurt or something.

The other gets far too excited by strangers, and if they weren't a yorkie poo and Shorkie, respectively, it could be bad. I've decided to get professional training since they're still very young.

When I was 13 I walked along the street & a dog just came up behind me, without a noise & bit me, multiple times. Then he chased me to a parked truck & I climbed onto the it's roof in order to save myself! I did Nothing to provoke the attack, I did not look it in the eye's, I heard no growl or any other noise of the dog coming up behind me!) So NO, a dog does not always give a warning, especially if it comes up from behind & pounces on you! -I blame the Owners of the dog & they need to be Punished & banned from owing a "Pet" ever! [These dogs they were 'ticking time-bombs' & the "owner's" need to be held responsible for this young ladies life being ruined!]
To know that she got bit over 800 times is chilling. What this poor girl must have gone through that entire time, the pain she suffered and to still be able to speak to the officers and being alive...To just imagine her having to go through that many bites for however long she suffered that attack for...omg. Having that sign above your door, "Crazy dogs...", and then hiring a complete stranger to them to dog-sit, regardless or whether they were supposed to be crated or not, was completely wrong and seriously negligent. They SHOULD have gone to an authorized boarding kennel, separated, and warnings given about being in an enclosed situation, esp alone, with either of them.

Just over a week ago as i was walking on a country lane for my routine exercise 2 dogs from a near farm attacked and bitten me i tried to stay still not shout or run just to not make them more aggressive finally after almost a min they let go i had to go to the treatment centre and also had to take a tetanus vaccine luckily it wasn’t that bad but it was a terrifying experience and i have reported it to the police and currently under investigation ,i love my outdoor walk/run but now I’m more aware and anxious when people with dogs pass me by i also bought a special ultrasound device for dogs to distract them incase one come near 😬😅
I’m pretty sure the dogs didn’t give her enough time to look at their ears. If I was in the position she was in I wouldn’t want them to take 37 minutes after the cops arrived to get to me just because they don’t want to hurt some damn dogs. 37 minutes is a long damn time on top of the time that she first was attacked. There’s nothing you can say to convince me that a dog’s life is more valuable than a human’s.
Crazy after watching this, hearing my Uncle say that he never has any issue jumping in front of 2 dogs fighting and yanking them apart from each other, but that if he sees 2 cats fighting, he’ll let them kill each other and not go anywhere near them

Humans can just be as obnoxious but not all of us are like this, and we would have to apply the same rule to our own species and almost any species capable of hurting us, which makes no sense. With dogs everywhere it's only sensible to carry protection, be it firearm or fixed blade knife. Learning how to dispatch a attacking dog is wise. I like dogs but will not become a victim if at all possible. Always try to travel with someone else.

My father survived a doberman dog attack in the 80's. He strangled the dog to death.
He was attacked by the dog outside a grocery store.

A woman I knew was killed by 3 large dogs. They literally tore her to pieces. The owner and neighbours didn't help her. Bloody awful.

Maybe dog attacked you because of the was hungy. When dogs hungry and in cold weathers especially they can attack everybody.

Humans can just be as obnoxious but not all of us are like this, and we would have to apply the same rule to our own species and almost any species capable of hurting us, which makes no sense. With dogs everywhere it's only sensible to carry protection, be it firearm or fixed blade knife. Learning how to dispatch a attacking dog is wise. I like dogs but will not become a victim if at all possible. Always try to travel with someone else.

Also there are PLENTY cases of dogs with “good owners” attacking children, training can only go so far.

The mistake was done by the owner of the dogs. They were supposed to put the dogs in the crates. Put them down instead of the dogs.

I usually just keep me out of the line of its snout grabbing the side of its face a handfull of snout and fur and turning it away as it jumps or jam your arm to the back of its jaws and hold its head hard against your forearm so it cant close its mouth and squirms to get away Bingo you have established the Bigger dog (dominance)
