I guess feeding off the fear of the known side effects of finasteride is the new way for people promoting their hair products to sell is where it's at .everybody seems to have safe alternatives that always were there but always had to start off using finasteride to achieve their hair being maintained . People getting sexual side effects can be addressed by seeing if they have low Testosterone .when I first got on the ban wagon at 56 I did all of it at once .TRT , finasteride , dutasteride topical minoxidil and oral minoxidil .once you achieved your regrowth where your happy with what you have you can skip days of all those treatments as it takes a while for hair to shed if you completely stopped using the products .that's where I'm at now .the generation I grew up in I started losing hair at age 19 and never should have got my hair back like Joe Rogan failed at .I was just like him minus I never shaved my head
If your blocking DHT with “natural” products as I see you’ve mentioned in your comments, then you will have the same side effects. The side effects come from inhibiting ones DHT, not the drug itself.
Yes you’re right. I guess I will have to decide when the time comes. But taking a much smaller amount (0,25 mg per day) would be my choice probably. Most side effects are because 1mg is too much.
Is this side effects just for brand propecia or does it also apply to genetic finasteride? because the inactive ingredients are different from brand propecia and generic finasteride.

But without finasteride hair transplants fail too. Therefore, your surgeon is going to recommend you finasteride after the hair transplant.

3 years of sexual and mental side effects after stopping, all from a drug thought was safe.
Best thing is to never take this nightmare drug.

Just some non description DHT blockers. And using Minoxidil. Seems to work fine. We'll see.
