Great stuff Kelly. Never saw Steely Dan but I saw Jeff "Skunk" Baxter with the Doobie Brother at the CNE back in 86 or 87 ♪♫♪♫♪
Beautiful solo I can pick up your teaching so much faster then anywhere our playing is similar but you're better and faster.Thanx Kelly . The first song I learned from you was Aqualung love playing that among others .Later
Thank you!
saw you play this a few days ago on shorts... i was hoping you show us a tutorial and here we are... you the man! thank you for everything you do for us.... cheers
Nicely done Kelly. Just spent months learning Danny Diaz's solo in Do It Again..the timing is "unusual".
Steely Dan always surrounded themselves with great musicians.
Beautiful👍👍👍👍👍
iconic solo
Love this Kelly! Thanks so much for covering this great Steely Dan tune!
Another great tutorial! Every lick within this solo is a lesson on its own.
Yeah, great song. 😊
Great feel on the intro lead KDA!!!
Love me some skunk Baxter thanks for the lessons very much appreciated!
Cheers man, my pleasure.
You are great musician. 👍
Fabulous, thank you again
That was awesome. Great lesson Brah!
Love you lessons!
Hey Kelly, you should try some old YES ( long distance runaround) Steve Howe was awesome in that solo
Thx . Great job ❤ I’m so glad to find you today . Liked and shared subscribed
Thanks man!
Awesome!
Killer man! One thing I would like from all the great YT instructors would be any insight into the guitar used and any effect and their settings. That would be awesome. Your tone at the intro play through is spot on. Sounds like Strat in position 5 with a bit of overdrive, yes?
Super great lesson how about doing the whole song... there is some interesting riffs in that song not included in the solo.... Do You give private lessons? or how can I tele-commute to you??
Can you get that tone using a telecaster on a deluxe 65 reverb??
I think Dean Parks did this lead on this song because Steely Dan used so many studio musicians.
Incorrect…Skunk all the way!
No Skunk Baxter did the solo and Dean did rhythm on this one.
