Rise of the Rōnin allows players to create a custom character.Combat features a wide array of weapons common during the Boshin war, such as katanas and various Boshin war firearms. The game features story choices at key moments, allowing players to side with or fight against various non-player characters, affecting the story. Historic cities Yokohama, Kyoto and Edo can be explored, as well as areas in the countryside. The player can traverse with various means, such as a horse, grappling hook or glider.The game also features the ability to swap between three difficulties, as well as a three player cooperative multiplayer mode. - Ігри

Both games are good in their own rights.. different style of gameplay is a good thing.. ( Same is Boring). Jin Sakai is a Samurai Style 'Ghost' while in the game Ronin, the character is just a Ronin style depends on your Weapons pick..
played both, loved both, ghost of t was easy asf in hard difficulty even without leveling up my swords and it was repetitive asf. ghost has way better graphics but ROTR was freaking fun asf to play and was an actual challenge(i play on twilight). the combat is just exhilarating! way more customization and the coop is awesome! i hope ghost 2 the combat is upgraded with harder and more skilled enemies and if they make a ronin 2 i simply hope it has more graphics. these prices are all ridiculous these days but people shouldn't completely hate on a game they haven't tried. once the prices drop yall should try it frfr.
So now we have two samurai games that look and play a little differently? Awesome! The more the merrier!

I have complete GoT and i love it, haven't play RotR yet but i think both are cool.the problem with the RotR is that GoT has raised the bar very high for the samurai games

Both games are good. There's only 3 feudal japan open world simulators that play like action games: these 2 and Way of Samurai.

ronin is clearly not a looker but its hella fun in terms of gameplay i got like 17 hours so far as for ghost thats a hard game to compete with the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is great 2 very similar but very different games

They cant even be compared. The only thing they have in common is there both in japan. Ghosts is like ac odyssey style rpg locked into character and weapons where as Rise is like a open world sekiro turned rpg with 9 different weapons and playstyle. Yes the graphics are not going to win it game of the year but still worth the play. I have over 200 hours in GoT and 40 into rise and in my opinion i wouldnt say one is better than the other.

Tsushima was fun and the world looked fantastic but it got repetitive after a while.
Anyway might wait for sale to get ROTR for 40$ or something.
Koei Tecmo need to be pressured to update their graphics, this pressure can be applied through our wallets.

In many cases Ronin looks/feels better (gameplay wise more fun).
The cut scenes in Rise of the Ronin aren’t bad but as soon as the game play starts it looks like a game running at under 1080p even in graphics mode. If the game was in native 4k it would be a early era PS5 game but the way it looks now if you told me it was a PS3 game I would believe it

My comparison after playing Rise of the Ronin is that Ghost is a lot smoother and authentic. Rise of the Ronin is very Nioh/Wo Long style which is great. It does pose a greater challenge than Ghost and plays like the Souls games. I love the customization of RoTR, it gives players a lot of freedom to play as they wish. It has a very deep ability to customize load-outs and the many weapons/armor you can have. When it comes to characters, each NPC has a lot of depth to them in Ghost and you're just following a journey of a set protagonist. I love the story of Ghost and it's an all-time great in my opinion. RoTR looks every bit as stunning as Ghost, with it being more dense with civilization. Time periods are about 600 years apart. You can play online with others or you have companion options, which you can strengthen the bond with throughout the game. It really is all preference. I have enjoyed both and these are definitely two games that I could go back and forth on for quite some time.
Ronin is a good game. it's getting trashed on by people who haven't bought it, team ninja has made good game but its getting the days gone treatment.

Tecmo used the same engine as Niohs games: which is completely outdated. Ghost of Tsushima uses its own engine from a first-party Sony studio. Result: Ghost of Tsushima, which was made for the PS4 (!) completely destroys The Rise of The Ronin, which was made from scratch for the PS5. The problem of this generation is not hardware but rather the poor work of some softhouses.
I like the more honest look in Rise of the Ronin. I'm so tired of modern soft and "beautiful" graphics. But Ghost of Tsushima is not too bad

Not to mention what game has updates to improve on.. while the other just came out with no updates.. smh..... I remember in ghosts of tsushima the water didn't really look right until they came up with an update. GoT is a typical 7/10 game you buy for 20 bucks on a sale, good game but fsr from a masterpiece
Ghost of Tsushima looks great and plays great, but GoT has1 weapon, and no cities, and isnt as much of a RPG as ROTR is
ROTR has multiple weapon types with tons of styles, and is a massive rpg with real mechanics and stats and way more variety to builds, this alone sets it far above GoT in terms of scale, you cant compare them

For me, Ghost of Tsushima clearly wins in everything. Whether it's the combat system, graphics, animation, or attention to detail. The only thing I would really like in Ghost of Tsushima is the use of multiple weapons, like Naginata, Odachi. Hopefully I'll see it in Ghost 2 if it comes out?

dude Thushima have high level of gameplay but lthe game have very nice animations and feel like a movie, Ronin feels like cheap game because the npc, horses and our avatar have same animations of the game first nioh(2017), ironic the game is more expensive than Thushima

Why do weapons disappear? looks like an outdated generation game!!! It catches my attention because I was a fan of Tenchu, but I find it quite boring and the cooperative mode is bad, Nioh is much better
It's actually sad. l know those fingerless devs of Rise of ronin thought that ps5 release will be enough in order to accomodate market, snoy fanboys and their potential weak gaming taste. But now that Ghost of Yawnshima is getting PC release they will change those sails and hurry up with Rise of ronin PC release. It's just mandatory to happen.

Rise of Ronin has PS3 era graphical fidelity at best. They will need to release this game to PC for modders to fix their game. It's the sad truth. Those fingerless devs can't do nothing to make this game visually great. They don't have talent and 0 skills.
