@@crashnburn3635 whut?? I don't understand ya🤨
It’s the art style that sells it! It’s beautful!
💯
Ghost definitely looks better because of the brighter colours and contrast, but the more dead colour palette from Ronin is definitely more realistic. The main problem is, we barely have any gameplay so it’s still too early to make a comparison like this.
not at all, RotR looks better because the textures are a lot more varied and don't look like they're all made of plastic
@@AutumnRed not really. The textures are decent at best. God of war looked better than ROR, even for the time it came out. Sure having more textures is definitely important, but I just prefer GOT graphics overall.
@@grimm3698 yes, really, the textures are flat and look very plastic, and I prefer RotR graphics in general
@@AutumnRed respectfully, I disagree but I can respect your opinion. The extra textures do add a lot to the scenery, I just hope it looks like this on release and they’re not showing us these graphics just for the sake of the trailer, although TN doesn’t disappoint so maybe it will look this spicy on release.
@@grimm3698 guys calm down. rdr2 and death stranding still dwarfs all other games in this category
GoT- More on the realistic side.
RoTR- More on the fun side.
Bro comparing gameplay to a trailer 💀
Right! And saying RotR looks better when comparing it to a game released over 2 years ago..
😂😂😂
Ghost of Tsushima certainly compares very well visually and graphically, if anything, its a tad better. The combat styles seem quite different, with similarities, such as reactive moves. If there are people out there who have not tried Ghost, I highly suggest you do, its up there with the best games I have ever played.
The realism and setting of GOT is better imo, still Rise seems pretty cool.
U mustn't know Japanese History! 1863 was during the modernisation of Japan and when they started bringing in Western military weapons to replace swords and Samurai. This would have created many Rōnin at the time due to Samurai not having work. They would of course attack those putting them out of work...their reasoning being they are fighting in service to The Emperor because that's how they would do things before The Americans came with the guns and Military forces.
There were 1 side Imperialist
Other Side working for Meiji Restoration
Meiji Restoration won
@@dancooke8811 I wasn't talking about the guns, I said I prefer the setting of GOT. As for realism, GOT does a better job of convincing you that the fighting is plausible, of course, most of it isn't but it's sufficient.
@@dancooke8811 btw I am a Japanese culture and linguistics major at UCLA so don't assume I don't know much about Japanese history. I do.
As a comparison I think this is a poor choice of clips. Ronin has a vista, and GoT is in a field rather than a vantage point overlooking a landscape. Ronin has red maple woods, GoT has a field rather than red maple woodlands. Ronin has a montage of combat while GoT had a boring random encounter with basic enemies, using new game level skills. Etc..... GoT can really ook stunning a times.
−Graphic comparison−
Rise of the Rōnin: imagine
Ghost of Tsushima: realism
👈😒
@@crashnburn3635 Do u have something to say with me?
@@user-sp4if8vc8t agreed
@@crashnburn3635 KK!
Agreed, a stylist choose to stay grounded and realistic but still an excellent imagination
The problem with Ghost of tsushima (that we can see the comparison) is his high contrast colours that doesnt look realistic (it remember me the Samsung products like TVs or Galaxy)
I love it though, realism is not as important as design and aesthetics (for me)
Ronin looks cool but it doesn't look very visually impressing. I would say ghost of tsushima has better visuals
Yeah but from what we can see the gameplay of ghost id 100 times more realistic
Fully released and updated PS5 version of a game vs. an announcement trailer?
What a terrible comparison.
Why won't they compare 2 trailer head to head and then we'll see which is better
Both games look great psn 4 life! Playstation killing it happy to be in it!
Yo can’t compare a game with another game that is actually just a Trailer dude
Who gives a shit lol. GoT was epic..this game will hopefully be epic. Graphics don't mean shit in a game, esp when comparing these 2 which have/will have their own unique/beautiful graphics. Elden Ring had "bad graphics" and it's hands down the goty.
@@stormy6029 I agree 💯. I was just saying that was the consensus when it came out. How it looked like a PS3 game (which I thought was absurd) bc a lot of casuals were comparing the demons souls remake (which looked amazing btw).
😢
When I first saw this...I thought Suckerpunch had made Ghost of Tsushima 2
they take place in the same universe but it isn’t a sequel tho
@@4D13N_Bit's not in the same universe dumbass because this isn't made by the same company
Tsushima definitely wins
Also, can’t wait to play Wu Long before Ronin
I got a PS5 to play Ghost specifically. It’s a masterpiece. However…even with the next-gen patch, it definitely shows its age.
both games look beautiful in there own ways Ronin nails it with a darker but vibrant natural look while Ghost hits you with its vibrant colors both games look wonderful and since I'm done with ghost already I cannot wait to play Ronin its fast combat is just what I've been waiting for
Here we go with the comparison bullshit!
🤣
Playing Return of the Ronin the graphics are seriously lacking for a 2024 PS5 exclusive..
Tal vez el rise of the ronin deverian haberlselo dejado a los creadores de ghost of shushima
I think Rise of the Ronin has better combat system and the use of that musket rifle is really awesome 😎👍
is using Trailer of Ronin vs actual game play of Ghost of Tsushima at begining of the game lol.
I love Team Ninja for Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Nioh 1 and 2, but they’re def hit and miss. This game looks great and I’m looking forward to it. I’m hoping this isn’t a dud like Ninja Gaiden 3.
Ffs ghost of Tsushima has to be one of the best looking games of all time imagine how number 2 is gna look
Theyboth look amazing.
Between the 2, I’ll go with GoT anytime.
Got, i dont wan to hit 400 hit to guy to kill it this isn't a soul game, realism over fantasy.
This ain’t fair ghost of Tsushima came out like 4 years ago
GOT looks realistic in duel. I love that!
I aint gone lie....some of yalls TV quality is poo poo..😅😅
I can’t compare a trailer gameplay to actual gameplay lol not really doing justice for either. Maybe let the content creators show us rather then some kid in his basement who does nothing but beg for likes and views because without them there life is meaningless. What a sad existence
I like my game a little grimy
GOT 10/10
Ronin 10/7
We see clearly that ghost of tsushima looks better than erron black 🤣
buy yourself some glasses, ghost of sushinass looks way worse than Rise of the Ronin
@@AutumnRed rise of the gun 🤣can be compared to gun games only , but ghost of tsushima is legendary
@@AutumnRed it actually does not until we see real live game play instead of just cinematics than we can compare them because the Ghost Cinematics we pretty much got what we seen

Ghost seem way better
I hope rise of the Ronin will have an easy mode. I love Samurai games and now, that this genre finally gets the attention it deserves, most of the games are Soulslikes.
It's so frustrating. Just add an easy mode. It doesn't break anything for people that don't want to use it, but it allows people to experience the game, that else couldn't.
No soulslike do not need an easy mode, and who said this is a souls like?
@@abc4781 nobody said it's a soulslike. but all the latest games of Team Ninja have been soulslikes, so it's only logical to assume this will be a soulslike as well.
And no game NEEDS an easy mode. But soulslikes should have it.
@@Gokudo87 as someone who has just started playing souls games as a whole, I strongly disagree with the souls games need an easy mode argument. It is an artistic choice to overcome seemingly impassable odds, harsh landscapes and it adds a depth to the areas you just can’t find anywhere else. The team decided to make a game not to frustrate, and yes they can be frustrating, but they provide you with emotion in game mechanics, which is more than I can say for most modern games. If you choose to play Elden ring, the first time I entered leyndell my jaw dropped. The game does not have ‘good’ graphics but the artistic direction blows you away. The difficulty plays a factor, as now in front of you you have a golden city laid to waste, with a large dragon strewn across the right side and his spear stretching across its vast expanse. And knowing that you will overcome the challenges of you try hard enough is truly something that most modern games nowadays can just not rival. Yes they are frustrating, but once everything clicks for you, you never regret the hours spent learning the game, because it is truly a euphoric feeling overcoming a boss that you have been stuck on, with a new strategy, tactic, and skill. It is an artistic choice to not add a difficulty mode, and with most art, some people will not enjoy it, but for the people that do, it pains us to see this discussion as it would ruin the whole core of the game, the systems, the world design, that have given so many people intense fear, tension, excitement, wonder, hatred and more. They are emotionally provocative games due to their difficulty, and I could not recommend them enough.
@@HaHa-pq2hb I don't see why an easy mode should ruin any of this for people that don't want to play it. You still could have those exact things in the normal mode.
I can't play soulslikes, because I've had an anxiety disorder and panic attacks in the past because of stress. I tried to play Nioh, because I really like the setting, but playing this game was extremely stressful. When I beat Hino Enma, my heart was racing and I felt really exhausted because of how stressful this fight was. That's when I quit nioh, to not trigger another anxiety disorder.
I couldn't care less about the games from FromSoft. Because the settings just don't appeal to me.
But I've been waiting for games set in ancient Japan, but there hasn't been much in the past years, beside the games of team ninja. So of course I would love to play them. I just can't because of the difficulty.
I would even be fine, if they would patch in an easy mode after like 2 years or so. At least I would get to play the game. I just don't see a reason to not include an easy mode at all. Because all those things you mentioned would still work in the normal mode if there is an easy mode. I think it's more about the exclusivity here than about the challenge. Because the game can still be challenging with an optional easy mode. But it will be less exclusive, because more people could play it.
@@Gokudo87 that’s fair, and I now understand where you are coming from with the settings. I understand that the setting is under-utilised but I don’t think that they should still cater to fit a wider range of players, because of the artistic views I showed previously. More games should use the setting, but if they had an easy mode most people would opt for it, and ruin the core experience for themselves. If the game is not for you it’s not for you, and that is ok, but I feel for a large majority of people the difficulty would scare them into picking the easy mode which would have to fundamentally change the game environments, systems and more. The settings are paramount and one of the biggest appeals of souls likes, so I understand why you would want to buy them just for it, but an easy mode would destroy the message of the game overall. More games should strive to create these kinds of ideas and settings, but the genre should not be any easier as it conveys a message through the setting, gameplay systems and art design. So I understand why these games are hard to get into for a large majority of people, and that the setting is vastly under-utilised. But the core of the game would have to change if an easy mode was included and people would not understand what makes these experiences so precious to us.
Ronin look better but for a ps5 game it's not impressive. Some people say GoT is prettier and it is proof that graphics between both games are close
Agree. Looks more like a PS4 game rather a Unreal-Engine 5 game
Rise of the Ronin looks way better, Ghost of Tsushima always looked too plastic, they only put effort on mixing colors but their 3d meshes, textures and lack of variety made it look boring and dead pretty quick becuase they did a very lazy work there, well, with the game in general
Looks better? Come on bro, it’s just trailer not gameplay? Remember Watchdog? i hope you’ll realize everything in trailer is fake.
@@fadilsarea8095 looks a lot better yes, and ghost of tsushima doesn't even look half as good, come on bro, remember just abusing color doesn't mean looking better, I hope you'll realize everything in GoT is fake
*they keep making these boring bad story games, where the F is a samurai X, inuyasha game like this?*
Graphic wise, I'd say RotR takes the dub, but that's it lol. Hopefully, Ghost of Tsushima is remade for the PS5.
yeah right lol. they are not going to remake Ghost for the ps5, they gave us a next gen update, thats all they are going to do
bro ghost of tsushima already pushes the boundaries of what consoles can to graphically speaking and u want it remade? the industry beat u into submission fr lmaooo
I mean it's absolutely ridiculous comparing the two right now considering we've seen next to nothing from Rise Of The Ronin... Considering its from Team Ninja though I'm fully expecting it to have much better gameplay than Ghost Of Tsushima
@@blueMJS idk, team ninja usually dont have top notch graphics in their games.
no, that's not it, the combat will surely be much better than Ghost of Tsushima's for sure, also the historical accuracy and love to detail... I'm pretty sure it will be a better game in almost every aspect
